DO NOT USE THIS FLORIST!!! Not sure if the woman I DEALT with is an employee or the owner, if she's an employee she should be FIRED if she's the owner she should be ashamed . Today is July 17, 2026. At 1pm I asked the concierge at the Hotel I'm staying where I could buy flowers for an event that I'm going to tonight. He sent me to Ashley's , said it was a 5 minute walk . When I got to the florist I said hello to the woman, she didn't say hello back or even look up. I said how are you doing today? She said the word "Busy" and still didn't look up. By that time I needed to use a restroom and said that I would be back to buy flowers and asked where the restroom was. She said Not in this building. I went next door to the hotel connected to her build and they were gracious and let me use the restroom. I went back to the florist and said I'm back and I need to get flowers for an event tonight. She started yelling at me "Thanks for the heads up! You people think that I can come up with arrangements in an instant!" I said "No problem, I'll go somewhere else, you just lost my money." I'm glad there was someone else standing there to witness this interaction. I can't believe she treats customers like this. Went back to my Hotel and told the concierge to never recommend Ashley's Florist and told him what happened . He was very apologetic and said noted, I'll never use that florist again either. She has zero idea who I am, I'm telling EVERYONE that I do business with never to use her. She just lost out. Had she been nice she could have gotten a lot of business from me. read more

I have used Ashley's Flowers several times for floral deliveries to work colleagues. There were no major issues with the order process or quality of delivery other than a bouquet being delivered a week earlier than it should have. A co-worker and I purchased a Goodness and Light Bouquet with balloons for another colleague's birthday. They were delivered on time and the recipient loved the gift. The second time I used Ashley's, my team bought a bouquet for our clerical to be delivered on Administrative Professionals' Day. However, the bouquet was delivered to the recipient's house a week before Administrative Professionals' Day. The recipient loved the flowers but it would have been a more meaningful gift to have them delivered on the day we indicated on the order. read more

There was a flower delivery scheduled for my Father's memorial funeral mass for 11/30/24 at Sweetest Heart of Mary Church in Detroit. The flowers did NOT show up. The flowers were ordered and to be delivered on 11/30 yet I received a call your florist had the date as 10/30/24. I contacted your florist back on October 30 to let them know of the error, and was ASSURED the delivery would be sent for 11/30 as was ordered. I'm saddened and disappointed that for my Fathers mass there were NO flowers as promised. We were not only embarrassed but incredibly shocked. I'm also aware the Mandzuik Funeral Home also contacted your florist about the error and was told the flowers indeed would be sent to no avail. I don't know what happened, but it was awful for our family. This situation gave us a tremendous amount of sorrow during a very difficult time. Left a message with business no return call. Understand Covid delivery issues! Paid a large amount of $$ to have flowers delivered by Tuesday December 21. Promised the delivery. Didn't happen. Called - got recording- promised a call back in half hour - never happened. Some correspondence on Thursday- saying they were delivered. They were not. Flowers showed up on Friday the 24 th. Unfortunately- people are leaving out of town on 26 th. Not much time to enjoy them. Hoping for some sort of refund- guessing it won't happen. read more

I couldn't find an affordable florist to send 100 roses downtown at short notice for a birthday. Ashley was not only able to fill the order but did so at a much lower cost than any florists in the area. I went to her for another 100 roses for Mother's day and again she was friendly, professional, attentive and prompt. Her flowers and arrangements look so amazing. She really makes the act of giving flowers a powerful statement that money just can't buy! There is no embellishment in this review. Take a look at the pictures if in doubt. Ashley's Flowers is a place you go if you want the run of the mill arrangement or the more common groupings of blooms. Not a visionary kind of operation. I called to ask for certain blooms to be included in the bouquet and was told that she didn't normally take requests. She said she was trying to be patient with me because SHE herself wanted to pick the flowers for the arrangement. Wow! I've never experienced anything like it. Of course, if you ASK a florist to do that, then it's fine. However, I have had wonderful experiences with florists who were artists that used flowers. If your needs are simple, then you'll do fine, but if you want to expand beyond the run of the mill blooms, like carnations, daisies, and roses, etc, then keep on looking. You'll do better elsewhere. I ordered an arrangement called "Magnificent Life Spray" from Teleflora for a Visitation and Funeral held 3/20 and 3/21/18 (picture on the left). The order was filled by Ashley's Flowers (picture on the right). What a mess!!! (Ashley's card was on the arrangement). Substitutions are sometimes necessary, but this is ridiculous. If you can't do the design, pass it on to another florist. My family was so embarrassed and angry! I will never order from Teleflora or Ashley's Flowers again. This was just disrespectful. read more
