My husband and I visited this beautiful flower shop to make bouquets together. We met a lovely instructor named Lily. She showed us step by step on how to create the perfect bouquet. We got in line to grab our desired flowers and greenery. I tried my best to make a beautiful bouquet. I even asked Lily for help as well. She came over and looked at mine and helped suggest where to put the white filler piece. She told me I did a great job. Wrapping it up was super fun too. My husband decided to make a bouquet as well. He did amazing, considering he is color blind. The best part is we decided to have him make one so he could give it to my neighbor. They gave you so many fresh & preserved ingredients, shipped all so wonderfully, in such a large box, with all the additional supplies and tools you might need, and walked us through how to make a wreath. I picked up my gorgeous flowers on Cadillac Square near Campus Martius Park. I was assisted by Betty who showed me the variety of bouquets to choose from. She also informed me about the brick and mortar location nearby on Farmer street. It was a wonderful experience to receive a lovely bouquet of fresh flowers wrapped in an adorable burlap sack. Update to original post. I was contacted by Korynn within a week after my negative review. She said that my comments left on their website were "accidentally filtered to the wrong folder". They sent a replacement bouquet, but unfortunately, it wasn't much better than the first. It was still fastened to the box (upon arrival) this time, but again, the flowers arrived bruised and broken. IMO, if you want to send someone quality flowers, that have a good vase life, this is not the place. These bouquets, in no way, compare to what you would buy at a traditional flower shop. The longest stem was 9". That's not even long enough to allow a fresh cut. If you care more about presentation and packaging, they do quite well at that. read more

This Eastern Market Studio location is much bigger than the Shinola alley location and I am so happy to see them growing here in Detroit. The flowers are beautiful and bouquets start at $45. For the metro Detroit area, expect delivery to be around $15. However, if you get the chance, I highly recommend picking up your order and stopping by because the studio is cool with an industrial urban feel in Historic Detroit. For bouquets they have pre-designed seasonal bouquets or you can request a custom bouquet. There are lots of containers to choose from or you can simply have it wrapped in burlap with a cute tag. There are T-shirts, tote bags and other merch you can buy to support their mission. The staff are friendly and you can tell they take pride in what they do. They also offer floral services for weddings. I know when most people think flowers and hear Eastern Market they think of the sheds, this Gratiot Road location is in the Eastern Market district but not at THE Eastern Market.
