Trash issues (dumpsters were always overflowing and smelled horrible), water issues (water would…read morestop during showers, inconsistent water pressures, neighbors complained that their toilets would constantly back up and nothing would be done by staff) very limited parking but towing enforced (I parked slightly over the fire lane and was almost towed even though I had no driveway so I was almost touching my home, no yard but still got charged monthly for lawn fees, limited staffing, limited office personnel (inconsistent information given about my lease). One lady explained my lease to me in a certain way, then the office company changed twice in a year and the last one explained my lease a completely different way. When I decided to not renew my lease and move, I was told I was going to default on my contract, but couldn't get an explanation of what would happen to my credit if I moved out. Lot rent increased drastically and the reason was based on lot rates in Dallas area. $1800 is not worth any of those issues for a tiny 2 bed 2 bath. Don't believe their "buyout option" they will try to convince you that it is a 5 year contract.

We had lived there many years…read morebefore the present owner and manager with a enclosed screened-in porch that was previously approved. We had wicker rocking chairs (the type one using outdoors) in the porch. We got fined. Our dog was laying down in the porch with porch door closed and the door going into the house was open and we were home. Another fine. I distinctly remember going by the managers house at about 5:20 A.M. and her husband was out with their dogs and neither were on a leash, yet she was quick to find any ridiculous way to fine us. We felt like we were being watched all the time. I knew that we were no longer allowed to use our clothes lines , but they just took our poles without even saying a word. These were nice poles that had been made at a local welding shop. If you refuse to pay the fines they will be taken out of your rent, then your rent is considered late and you are fined for that. If you again refuse to pay the next month the fine will double in addition to the previous fine. Once fines total three months rent, because they were taken out of your rent , you are three months behind on your rent , the owner can legally put a lean on your home. Needless to say we no longer live there.

He put an electrical panel over the hole he had to make to be able to repair it. They tried to blame everything on me and I will probably end up paying for it.
