My husband and I are not big picture takers/posers, but with Eduardo the experience was amazing. For our engagement session he gave us poses, was patient and took shots from many angles and the candids were absolutely the best. We booked his video packet for our wedding and I cry everytime I watch it. He asked us for 4-5 songs and even surprised us with an additional song at the end of the video that was not on our list, but was a dedication song during our wedding (the fact that he remembered shows us how dedicated he is to each person he works with). Chantel is the ideal photographer to work with. We've had limited experience with photographers…read moreoutside of quick studio portraits, and Chantel has made it impossible to ever want to go back! I remember past sessions in the picture people and jcpenny studios, and highly regarded photographers my siblings have used for their weddings - but I'll be honest, none of those times was as comfortable and relaxed and fun as when Chantel Hunt shot portraits for our family. I think that is the key to a successful photo shoot - for everybody in the pictures to have fun and be relaxed. Chantel did not rush us or have us even mindful of the time - We had no clue of the time lol. Many shots were taken - many poses and variations of who was in the shot. We shot at 2 different locations: in the open field where the mustard flowers were blooming and in the almond orchard. Beautiful. Chantel was able to take the most beautiful photos in both locations and in all of the different situations. After the session we were super happy, unlike our relieved and overwhelmed feeling when we had pictures done in the past lol. It was such a chore before, but because of Chantels personality and care and relaxed vibe, mixed with her knowing exactly what to do for the different poses and situations, it was a breeze for us - an absolute breeze. So i previously had a mini session with Cassie. As excited as I was I didn't know what to expect,…read moreand didn't feel totally comfortable with myself. Luckily Cassie has a welcoming spirit and knows no stranger! I immediately felt comfort with her, she brings such a peaceful and happy aurora with her. I trusted her guidance her knowledge in poses and boy did it pay off in the end! I loved my picture and was in shock it was me. After having a baby, I was lacking self-confidence, which, after the session I gained seeing myself through her lenses. Fast forward to this month. I've been looking forward to this session. I splurge and treated myself to the whole experience. I added hair and makeup and got a full session. It was all completely worth it. Like I told Cassie before, I was doing this shoot as a surprise for my significant other, but also for myself. Us moms get caught up in taking care of everyone else and don't always feel the best. Cassie's work is obviously phenomenal, but also a reminder of how beautiful you are. She captures you in such great lighting and angles, I catch myself telling her I can't believe that is me. I fall in love with myself more and more after I get photos done by her. I can't even tell you how great I feel after a session with her. I will always recommend her. 10/10
