Lovely staff. Just been post lockdown for the first time. Prices have risen, food quality down and everything served in plastic tubs or paper cups. I assume staff still on furlough! A shame as this place could have done better, more outdoor seating and proper menu! read more

Filled with screaming kids at the weekend, overpriced gift shop - even if it does sell nice stuff, yummy coffee and cakes... 'nuff said!

We go with the in-laws at least once a month for afternoon tea i.e. salad and cakes but they do very nice lasagne and some interesting quiches. The best part is the cakes. With something to suit every taste, I often advise people who are having difficulty deciding that they should just give in and have one of each! If only I could I would take my own advice the portions are generous and the quality is superb. If you are in the area just drop in for tea and cake(s) and you'll be finding ways to divert especially. read more
