There were some hardcore Sunday shoppers here and rightly so this place is beautiful. Full on country side vibe with every possible flower and shrub imaginable! I got my trolley and causally stilled around the centre settling on buying some sunflowers and other really hard to pronounce types of flowers for my mom and dads front garden. I have no idea who named some of these varieties of flowers....but they went innnnn...I won't lie a lot of them I couldn't pronounce but I gave it a good go..with varying results.... The flowers here are super cheap too the sunflowers were like 1.50 each and most pots are below £3...bargains galore!! The only thing to note is the tills are busy...people are flocking for a wide for those bargain blooms so set out an afternoon for this trip it's definitely going to take you a a few to see everything and pay....but that's the vibe surely...loved it.

As you enter there's a remarkable selection of gifts available. If you're on present buying duty, this place is probably worth a visit before hitting the high street. We have a friend who's a keen cook and found a great selection of Birthday gifts we couldn't have found anywhere else. The cookbook stand we bought her now sits atop her kitchen work surface. I have strict orders from my mother-in-law that next time we visit she must come as she wants to take home some biscuits, and chocolates for her peckish hour before bed. Walking out the back of the shop the nursery is pretty well stocked, although it's just not as impressive as the shop. There's also a landscaped garden, planted up to show you all on offer. Once you've satisfied your shopping needs there's a pretty little cafe doing a nice line in teas, coffees and breakfast sandwiches. It may be looking a bit tired these days, but when the sun's shining it's still a nice place to enjoy a pot of tea from the café or for planning your purchases.

We like our gardens in Brazil but here people are really fond of it. And it can be spotted in the raise of visitors to the garden centres spread through the country. Especially during the spring and summer. I like visiting garden centres as well and I just can't avoid my annual visit to Hollybush, one of the largest garden centres in the country. HollyBush is an independent gardening centre with more of three decades of service. Luckily it is not just a pace for gardening experts and people like me can also visit and learn something more about seeds and bulbs. Or just appreciate it anyway. I just adopted a Bonsai tree which I call Alice and I hope she survives my lack of experience in the garden issues anyway. By the way, I just love the Japanese and oriental garden area at Hollybush. It's a piece of Japan right in the middle of this gardening centre. If you are looking for garden tools and furniture, this is a perfect place to have a mooching around. And it's definitely a great way to put you in the mood of summer, if you don't even have a garden like me. The range of benches, fountains and barbecue tools are just an invitation to start planning all those special meals outside the house. The aquaria is another great feature at Hollybush. Fish tanks and species of all kid, plus fishing equipments make this space pretty popular. The kids can't get enough of watching the fish and there are even some piranhas there. Indoor bonsai and cactuses are also something that always bring my attention. I always bring a new adding to the family every visit. Hollybush has a huge shopping area with candles, sweets and cards and gifts. And if after visiting you feel like need some cake and a cuppa, it's compulsory to pop to their café and restaurant before leaving this place. The entrance is free and here is a parking space for over 600 cars.

Your bog standard Sirdar DK wool was 2 GBP for 100 grams, so 4 GBP for 300 grams. In the little time that I've been knitting, that's pretty good value. My partner got a Airfix project here as well, the HMS Illustrious... starting small ;) As an added bonus I got my mother a dinky concrete birdbath for 25 GBP The place is massive. And to be honest a bit of a maze. Not good when you are trying to find the tills and exit when you are lugging a concrete birdbath without a trolley. A-OK

Good Afternoon I…read morejust felt, having had a thoroughly fruitless and frustrating trip to Webbs this afternoon that I should share my thoughts on the quality of service on display in your store today. We are regular visitors and enjoy our trips generally but having travelled over from Kidderminster having been told your pet department had some Lion Lop rabbits coming available today thought we would investigate. This proved a lot more frustrating than we anticipated, your staff member was handily placed in the middle of the mammals display, crouched admittedly and obviously tending to the animals, "she will acknowledge us in a moment" we thought..er no... a couple more "buying signals" later and still no response I cleared my throat... still nothing... "Excuse Me, can you tell me about the lops please, are they ready to go?" "Yes, but they are all reserved", still crouching! "Oh, it says that they aren't available until today? Will you be getting any more in?", "not like those, they don't breed them this time of year..." ah the famous sexual abstinence of the rabbit!! Very unhelpful, surly and frankly not a great ambassador for your company, lip biting was required to not cause a scene, my wife was equally appalled, not sure about my 18 month old as he was by now distracted by a tortoise but i sensed even then that he was unimpressed! So, that's your wonderful pet department. We then passed a gaggle of shopfloor staff taking the piss out of some new "artichoke" shaped "t lights", another fine example! Then the till lady who served us (Lisa) did so with all the charm and effervescence of a dead badger in the gutter, didn't say hello, goodbye, ask if we wanted a bag or smile (despite my own witticisms and our 18mth old who is at the "hello hello hello" stage of life doing his very best to get her attention). Bottom line, your staff seemed today to be en-masse not loving life and certainly not their jobs or their customers... unless the old wives tale about simultaneous menstruation in close proximity is correct I suggest you need to brighten everyone up a bit. There, I am now back in Kidderminster, started typing by McDonalds so at least i have filled a journey up... Bottom line, not a great experience today, still spent £87.44 though! There is a wealth of outdoor plants, trees, sheds, fencing, patios etc. There is a good choice of outdoor and even indoor furniture. In addition there is plenty of other shopping to be done with outdoor footwear and clothing, local farm produce and gifts. Really you should just go ahead and make a day of it - this would include enjoying coffee or lunch in their ample restaurant that serves lunch, cakes, jacket potatoes, soup, sandwiches. There is an outside seating area if the weather in good. For £10 you can join their annual discount club and receive 10% off everything, sometimes increasing to 20%, and enjoy two free coffees a month.

Inside, the shop has a reasonable range of products, though you are limited (as with the plants), so your choice is between three or four patio sets or a small selection of BBQs, clothes, books etc. The restaurant is very nicely done and not too pricey. There is also a children's soft play area, making it an ideal place for families or mothers who want to meet up for a coffee during the week. There is plenty of parking (arguably too much, given the size of the centre) and if your only going for plants when you've been once, you're not likely to return in a hurry having seen everything they have to offer in that onec visit. Occasionally there are good offers to members of their Gardening Club which will incentivise custom but it's the restaurant and play area which is most likely to attract paying customers.
