Found this place on Yelp after my friend Becky (see previous review) was complaining about lower back pain for a few days during our trip to Memphis. We both opted for the 60-minute combo massage which includes face, shoulders, neck, back, and feet (credit card price is currently $63). My massage therapist, David, was wonderful. Such strong hands with nice technique. My only regret is that I didn't book a table massage in a private room so that I could enjoy the massage with my clothes off lol. I had an hour appointment for my sore back from driving all day. He worked on the side that wasn't bothering me for a half hour; however, when it was time to do the side that was bothering me, they had a walk-in customer and the lady came back and said that it was my first visit so they would only do 30 minutes. I told her he hadn't touched the side that was bothering me and she said something to him and he rubbed a bit on the other side, and she said it was time to go. It was to be $50.00 for an hour, and she charged me $44.00 for the half hour, and I signed the charge. She said I forgot the tip, so I put a dollar but wish I had thought to put .25 as I was angry. My wife goes there, but I will never set foot in the place again because they have no idea what customer service is, nor do they practice first-come, first-served. There were about six open chairs and the one room I was in that I saw. Wan (sp?) Took care off my pains. She was very professional and did an excellent job. I was a walk in appointment with two others and we were greeted with a smile and quick service. I had Jack as my massage therapist. I would pay double for the level of service but thankfully the price was great! You don't take your clothes off so I felt so much more comfortable while still feeling like I got a quality massage. This is the ONLY place in Memphis to get a massage. If you are a massage conniseur like I am, then let me for surely tell you that this massage will rock your world. They take card and absolutely you should tip. If you like to get deep tissue massage, then get a table massage for an hour, ask for Lili, and she will walk on your back. The chair massages are great too. My husband is a big guy and he loves getting a massage from the male masseuses because they have the strength to really dig deep, you can tell they massage you with quality accupressure techniques too because they hit all the right spots and come out of the massage sweating. Be very clear with them about how you want your pressure too. If you like your massages for relaxation, then ask for a light to medium massage. This is the standard Asian Foot Massage type place, but the price tag was quite large - $45 before tip!! Usually a 1 hour foot massage (it's really a full body but they focus on your feet most of the time) runs $20-$25 depending on the city. Going in I thought this had to be something special, but it's not. Maybe this is the only Asian Foot Massage in Memphis? If you are truly craving reflexology then by all means check this place out. I went and informed them that I had just had a major surgery less than 2 weeks ago, and although they don't really speak much English, they took really good care of me. When it came to turning me over the receptionist came back to make sure I was comfortable and that the masseuse was very careful with me . It was a very pleasurable experience and I can't wait to go back. I think I'll make it there at least 2x a month. And as for the price, I think it's really responsible almost cheap in comparison to what I've paid at places that require a membership to even get a decent price for what's supposed to be an hour ,but not really an hour because my time is ticking away while I get undressed and at least 10 minutes cut because the therapist has to get to their next client . Myself and my husband went in for a 90 minute massage. First problem, the lady who was massaging my husband keep answering the phone and walking off. She did that about four times. She was super loud. Second problem, the guy who answers the phone, who I think is the owner ask if we had cash, I told him we only had a card he say their is a fee for using a card I said no problem until he charge us a $10 credit card fee for one transaction. The memo on his desk says $3 fee for an hour and $2 fee for 30 min per transaction, so we had 90 mins so it should have been $5.00. He added an additional five because he said it's two of us. I explained to him that it doesn't matter. It's only one transaction so it should only be $5. He then asked how much tip we were going to leave on the card!! What a joke. We did tip both of our therapist with cash because he undoubtedly is money hungry and expects us to pay his worker with our tips. This the last time I will ever support his place of business.
