I told her he hadn't touched the side that was bothering me and she said something to him and he rubbed a bit on the other side, and she said it was time to go. It was to be $50.00 for an hour, and she charged me $44.00 for the half hour, and I signed the charge. She said I forgot the tip, so I put a dollar but wish I had thought to put .25 as I was angry. My wife goes there, but I will never set foot in the place again because they have no idea what customer service is, nor do they practice first-come, first-served. The new customer even said that she was not in a hurry. I got zero benefit from spending $45.00.

I was honestly concerned though, because often those online deals reflect watered down services. Thankfully this wasn't the case with my massage at Relaxing Spirit. My massage was on point. The therapist took all of my feedback about trouble spots and firmness of the massage. She also wasn't pushy about coming to visit again. I actually liked her so much I purchase some more massages since they were also having another deal in store where you got a discount for buying a few at one time. I'm usually not someone that commits to massages or buys things in advance - but it was a good deal and the massage was well executed. If you are looking for a good massage and especially if you find a deal with this company - I'd highly recommend it. The things to know when visiting though is that it is kind of a no-frills place. It's a place to get a massage and get out. There is no sauna or luxury spa room to sit in. They do offer water when it's over, but aside from that the place is nothing fancy. When my services were rendered, I put some change in the tip jar. The gentleman, however, who did my massage DEMANDED that I give a $5 tip. I told him that I already put money in the jar, but he wanted more. We kept going back and forth about the $5 tip. This lasted about 3 minutes. He said that there is a $5 tip minimum. I told him that this wasn't true because there's no sign that indicates this. I told him that I was going to call security if he doesn't charge my card and give it back to me and that if he asks me again for $5, I will not come back. They have tried to pressure me into tipping more before, but I wasn't held hostage with my debit card to TIP $5 or more before either. Finally, he grudgingly charged my card and told me not to come back, and THAT'S for sure. Tips are optional and not demanded. I will never patronize this business again, and anyone who want patronize there, he or she must be ready to be DEMANDED to give a $5 or more tip. This was at the Wolfchase location.

I found out that if you express these concerns or interests, that the front desk may be able to align you better with therapists. Not just with personalities, but a little more detail with pressure (other than just light, medium, firm).
