I met with Ryan in Manila before my flight back to the US after I spent a week with my fiancée. I…read morecontacted him about processing our K-1 visa. Our case was easy; no children or other issues involved. He said he charged $2,000 for this service. I thought it was rather excessive, but he said he charged the extra because he provided "exceptional service". He seemed friendly and personable so I retained him. He helped us put together our DS-160 and initial submission. He recommended we write stories and when we were finished he submitted the documentation. All was going well. Problems began when my fiancée's case was sent to Manila and marked as "Ready". I asked him about setting up an interview and he said "let's wait a week until it's in their system". I called USCIS and they said I could schedule it online as soon as it showed "ready". So I called him and asked him to please call the embassy and set up the interview. He did. The fact he didn't know about the "Ready" and online system was a bit concerning, and even with my call, he set up the interview 2 days later than we could have done it. But, it was set and she flew to Manila for her medical (which went fine) and the Interview. She failed the interview and it was kicked to 221(g) for lack of chat logs and proof of remittances. Of course this caused severe emotional distress, not entirely understanding the 221(g) process and what it really meant. This is when Ryan began his process of abandoning us. He didn't tell me what the 221(g) process really meant and said I could "contact my senator" and that was about it. I was left to my own devices to take care of things. I also found out chat logs and evidence of remittance is status quo for the interview process and all informed individuals bring those materials to the interview (or even submit them with the initial application). Because he failed to inform us we needed these materials, the interview was essentially guaranteed to fail! A few days later I put together nearly 500 pages of materials and we overnighted them to the embassy. The other big mistake was Ryan failed to inform us we had to register for the CFO class a week or two ahead of time online (my fiancée lived on another island far from Manila). We were lucky to get her into a class during the window she was in Manila, but it was blind luck. When I approached Ryan about failing to inform us about the CFO requirements, he said "that's not part of our arrangement" or something similar (which was 100% incorrect as the CFO class is required for a K-1 fiancée to fly to the US). So the 221(g) and CFO issue together and his handling of things brought up a huge red flag. Ryan then disappeared for nearly 3 weeks with no communication. Then around the beginning of November he sent an odd Email saying "oh your case is in ready, so they're processing it!" Our case had been in "ready" mode since before her interview! This reaffirmed my suspicion he really didn't know what he was talking about. I also sent him a message asking why he didn't tell us we needed to have the chat logs and remittance and he never replied! When I informed him we were parting ways and wouldn't be paying the final $500 of the $2,000 fee (he had already been paid $1,500) he threatened legal action and said he would reveal "intimate and quite graphic" details about us in court proceedings. My fiancée had her Visa issued after submitting the "missing" 221(g) materials, which shows she could have passed at her interview if we had provided these materials at the interview. Based on the above experience, I cannot recommend him. His fee is excessive and from what I've seen, he is incompetent and becomes hostile when challenged on his mistakes. As such, retaining Ryan Barshop to process a K-1 visa exposes one to considerable risk.

I've been working for an amazing company and one of the perks that we have are shuttle services…read morefrom the office to the drop-off point and vice versa. I work at night so riding the shuttle is far more safer and convenient that riding public transportation, not to mention, 'tipid' Our company hired the services of Hertz; it's a rent a car services available and known around the world but what impressed me are the drivers. All of the drivers are very professional, courteous and kempt, but the most important common characteristic that they have are their strict commitment to time and schedule that gets us to our destination on time. They fully observe all traffic rules and regulations, preserve their patience and keep their focused on the road. Also Hertz provides vans that are always in good running condition with cold air conditioner and a clean van all in all. No wonder why Hertz is successful and internationally recognized because they give the best services and maintain a high level of their vehicles for their customers.

United States Rent Date Feb 4 to Feb 17, 2024…read more ONLINE PRESENSE: Misleading, not everything in their website are True. LOCATION: Stated in their website you check-in the airport and pick-up car at the airport. ALL FALSE. They have an attendant at the airport who will advise you to follow them to their small creepy secluded office about 15 minutes away and that is where you conduct your check-in for the car and payment which is very spooky and looked like a place for gangs lurking in the dark. If it wasn't for my nephew who was tall and big I would have never followed her. PAYMENTS AND INSURANCE: Paid in full, but they also ask for extra deposits of which I gave them 1-$100 dollar bill worth P5600 pesos + P1000 pesos. A total of P6,600 pesos altogether. CAR - TOYOTA "WIGO" Cute little car, When we picked it up we made sure and took picture all around and took picture of the gas gauge. It was missing a full bar+. We mentioned this to the driver and the person who handed us the car key, but later on found out they neglected to add it in the comment section. CAR DRIVING - MANILA Driving around Manila with a small car was very convenient as you can do a U-turn easily as well as you can squeeze yourself in between big cars and trucks. CAR DRIVING - BAGUIO CITY Driving to Baguio was a dragged, the car can barely get up the hill. It took hours to get to city of Baguio NOT enough power. If you need more power you need to get an SUV. However once we got there the car being small made it convenient to go around as it was small and can squeeze in between motor bikes, other cars and trucks and U-turn was not a problem. The only other thing was slowing up and down in a slow manner or else you end up with a scratch bumper. FUEL; The car had an Eco Friendly feature that barely used gas going down the hill. From Manila to Baguio City only gas up once going up and once going down. It didn't need to but I just wanted to be safe. RFID: The car had an RFID card loaded so it was very convenient for us to get through all the toll lanes without stopping. Nice feature you want to have especially if you are going through so many tolls. CAR RETURN: We followed the address that was on the receipt payment so we got lost. Make sure to read the comment section on where to return the car so you don't end up like me. If you are a returning a car and your flying international, then you need to use Terminal 1 or Terminal 2. If you are flying domestic's around the Philippines only use Terminal 3. I learned that the hard way and almost missed my flight. DEPOSIT RETURN: Make sure you have someone that will pick up the deposit after dropping off the car or else you will never get it back. I had my nephew pick up the deposit and they deduct an extra P660 pesos plus fees and charge us for short gas bar, when my nephew explained to them that it was missing a bar when we picked up the car they did not honor it because the person that check out the car to us neglected to add the gas bar in the comments. In future I will never ever pay deposit again or will look for a different Rental Car Service.
