Was really impressed with the selection and prices. I feel dumb not checking this place out long ago! Got a sushi rolling mat, some hot chili oil, a few packs of natto, a cute hello kitty udon spoon, kombu, and some squid jerky snacks.. Would have cost me probably double on amazon, and there's no way I could stretch a $20 this far at walmart. I really wanted to bring home some fresh fish or frozen scallops but we just lost a freezer so another time would be more appropriate. (Fantastic seafood selection) I'll definitely be back, this store stocks tons of my favorite things: Indomie's Mie Goreng (Indonesian style ramen,) MAMA, all sorts of dried mushrooms, and a wide variety of soy paste-like products. I have lived here in Fayetteville for over 25 years and always wanted to go into this store, but for some reason I never have. I do consider myself a foodie and kind of a Japanophile, so I was excited to see what was inside. I was impressed by the variety of foods and seasonings they had. They also had woks and rice cookers for sale as well as other kitchen hardware and utensils used in Asian cooking . I also saw some rugs and other textiles for sale. I only explored the Asian offerings due to the fact that my child was anxiously tugging on my shirt to go (after she picked out her Japanese candy). I got some Korean ramen that I have been wanting to try for a while now. I will come back when I have a craving for ramen or find myself in the neighborhood. I also have my eye on a wok and a rice cooker. So grateful that we have the diversity we have in NWA and also for a cool store like this to shop at. Also can't wait to check out the Latin section. Love this supermarket for picking up items that are not available in your regular grocery store. They always have a great selection of fresh fruit and vegetables many of which I have never seen and in some cases never even heard of before. If your looking for Asian noodles, boa buns, pot stickers, kimchi, tofu, miso, fresh fish, dried fish, herbs, spices, sauces glazes and oils, you name it they probably have it. Specialty grocer. Super cool selection of produce, kumquats, black caltrops, so many types of leafy greens, seasonal items. Fruits and vegetables I never knew existed. They have produce, fresh fish, kitchen and residential equipment, rugs, hot food (bahn mi), a frozen section, sodas, processed dry goods, and a huge selection of tea leaves. What a neat supermarket,I wasn't expecting what I walked into. This place has both Mexican and Chinese cuisine into 1 building. If you walk towards the back of the store ,this is were the butcher is. Fresh meat and fish on ice in front. Whhhhaatttttt. Exactly blew me away and it was packed. I walked the isle looking for fish sauce I didn't realize there's that many brands of fish sauce. There is fresh produce, and lots of neat stuff to look threw. Will be back to see what new things I haven't seen. read more

We love shopping at Asian Amigo! I cook Thai food & I can't always find international ingredients at the local grocery store. The service that's provided is AWESOME! They always have fresh vegetables & herbs! The ambiance is very laid back! They do have a fresh fish market in the back so the store will have a strong odor. It doesn't bother me though! I am grateful for all Asian markets in NWA but I've come to really love Asian Amigo for their great assortment in fresh, frozen, and prepared foods. Speaking of prepared foods, I had their roasted pork today which I assume is only available on the weekends. It was gear! Crispy skin and seasoned just right. They also just made a batch of fried bananas which I had never tried. It was less sweet than I expected but it was delightful! Thank you! Go check them out. Okay so this place is a tad lacking in the clean and organized realm of retail spaces BUT this market is still my go-to for all my Viet household essentials!! I live in Centerton yall. I MOST DEF go that extra mile to get my 3 crabs fish sauce and Green mountain soy sauce!!! Lolol. If not for the prices on their meats, I prob would have a heart attack at how things are laid out in their coolers but if yall have been to enough Asian markets this really isn't out of the ordinary. I'm happy that they always have what I need and with the addition of hot food near the checkout now, I cant complain. 10 out of 10 recommend shopping their kitchen aisle! Best Asian Grocery store and biggest in NWA. I love going there. Very friendly atmosphere. Also the food like sometimes the vegetables is cheaper than Walmart and other grocery stores sometimes. Also yummy Asian food. My recommendation is to have more Chinese brands such as the dried sweet potato strips. They taste so good and are healthy. Tastes like a healthy sweet potato fry but the flavor is very mouth watering and not oily because it's basically a dried sweet potato strip. Other than that best grocery store in town. I descended upon them, a Westerner who'd been looking for squid in all the wrong places. Other Asians in other markets had ignored this English-speaking interloper, but not the people here. They tolerate my butchering the Vietnamese language, even instruct me into better pronunciation, and they will help me track down the perfect fish sauce for whatever I'm eating.
