    Charcuterie for 2
    Jen H.

This place blew me away. I did not have high expectations. The wine is truly incredible, and they have a great variety for all palates. They also offer frozen margarita-style drinks and beer. They have a great snack menu. They do have pizza, but it is more of a snack size. We ordered three pizzas, chips, and salsa, and a double charcuterie board for five of us. Just be sure to leave room for their grape ice cream. They often have live music, and during any events, they do not do their wine flights, but you can choose between half and full pours. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Cute little shop with local goods and plenty of seating inside and out. Only complaint is they use canned mushrooms on the pizza.

I grew up in Tontitown and this winery has always been a classic part of the town! Tontitown is a small town full of Italian Catholics. Most of our ancestors came here from Italy and you can see much of this history on display in photos around the winery. A photo of my grandmother in one of the vineyards even hangs on the wall :) This winery has expanded so much through the years. It used to be a small building with just a tasting room. Then they added a large uncovered patio with a stage for live music, followed by an indoor seating space, and then eventually a second patio that is covered! Not only do they have wonderful local wines, they also serve some food that is better than you'd expect from a winery. We split a pizza and spinach artichoke dip! It has been a while since I've had their wine, so I got a flight of reds and whites. I like that some of their reds are sweeter and served chilled. My favorite was a sweet white wine called Niagara! They also have fun wine slushies, my mom got the lemon one and it was amazing. You can't pass up their grape ice cream for dessert, a local favorite! Don't knock it until you try it. The Tontitown Winery is full of friendly staff, memories of our ancestors, delicious foods/wines, and great service. Be sure to swing by for some wine or stay a while to enjoy their live entertainment on the patio. You can learn so much about Tontitown from visiting and will not be disappointed!

Wine, tasting, and charcuterie for two.

Great winery! I was visiting my daughter from out-of-state and we decided to stop in and have some wine and a charcuterie plate. They have a great indoor area that we sat in. It was super windy that day so we didn't sit outside. Next time I'd like to try the wine slushy. Very friendly staff. We will be back!

Good, drinks, and music, what else can you ask for!!!!

From the service , to the food, and the amazing environment, it was a great time! You can bring your kids, pets and just relax while listening to life music.

This looks like a fun place to hang out - they have a lot of outdoor and indoor seating. I did see they have some games outside including an oversized Jenga. The food was surprisingly good - particularly the pizza that didn't look that exciting but tasted super fresh. I really liked the spinach and artichoke dip as well. We were looking for "Arkansas wine" and this is it. It was a little too sweet for my tastes - even the red wine that said it was "dry" didn't seem dry to me. I did like the white Delaware wine that kind of tasted like alcoholic pineapple juice! My friend who likes sweet wines was happy with her choices. Another friend said the "winearita" was delicious. The shop had a lot of cute and funny items - I could see picking up a gift there.

Came in on a Saturday night after not being here for a few years. There were some local musicians playing in the indoor seating area, which is new since I've been here. The indoor seating now has small tables and room for about 50ish people. There is also an outdoor heated area with additional seating. Their outdoor patio deck is still there. I like what they've done with the space to increase seating and cater to a different vibe with music. They've also increased their food service and added a menu of small plates and bites, as well as a few sand which options. They still serve wine and non alcoholic drinks. They have two bars to order from. Overall, a good dining and wine experience. I'll keep my eye on their entertainment schedule for future activities. Overall, good

This is a very nice looking winery. There is a lot of space to spread out and enjoy a wine tasting. We stopped by on a Friday evening and they weren't that busy which was great! We tried one wine flight which included their sweeter wines, which I will say, none of them were all that sweet - closer to a semi-sweet. Unfortunately, they were just all okay to me and did not leave with a bottle of any of them. - Red Muscadine and White Muscadine - coming from NC, I am very familiar with muscadine wines. Unfortunately, neither of these tasted like a traditional muscadine wine - a lot of them taste like you are just taking a bite of a muscadine. These you just did not get that. I definitely preferred the white over the red. -Concord - This was also very different than other concords that I have had. It was just okay and not very sweet like most concords. -Niagara - Just an okay wine -White Zin - Good Zin since it is sweeter than most, but again, just okay. We also tried the strawberry mango slushy which tasted like a frozen pink lemonade rather than either fruit. It was good, just not what I was expected. I do recommend this winery as it was nice and relaxing, as well as being an enjoyable spot for some pre-dinner wine. Unfortunately they just do not have highly enjoyable wine for me.

Nice place. The wine was good, the food too. We sat on the front porch because we had our dog and because it was a bit windy.

Great music on Saturday night! Not enough help at the bars or kitchen. Long lines for wine and beer resulting in long waits.

I had only been in town for about an hour when I found this restaurant on Yelp, conveniently located near my hotel. The full parking lot gave me hope; usually a great sign when looking for local gems. I walked in with my 11-year-old daughter and was greeted by a male host who let me know there would be a 30-minute wait due to short staffing. I noticed three vacant tables but understood the situation and agreed to wait. There was nowhere to sit inside, so I walked my daughter back to the truck. After 15 minutes, I saw another couple enter. A waitress immediately approached them and seated them at one of the vacant tables. I returned to the door and asked if something had changed. The same waitress told me again that they were short-staffed. I asked if the newly seated couple had reservations; she said they don't take reservations. So I asked plainly; why were we skipped? No clear answer. Just the same explanation repeated. Thankfully, the original male host returned, and I explained the situation. He apologized and seated us. But the issues didn't stop. We sat at our table for 10 more minutes without even being acknowledged, while guests seated after us were already receiving drinks. I had to stop a waitress and ask who our server was; it turned out to be the same young lady who had previously overlooked us. Despite all this, I chose to respond with kindness and good energy. Still, the experience weighed on my daughter. I could see it in her face; she wanted to leave. I had to encourage her to eat once the food arrived. She felt the mistreatment. I took it as a teaching moment and reminded her that while we can't control how others treat us, we can control how we respond. Being different in appearance doesn't mean we deserve different treatment. Our money is just as green. I've served this country during multiple military deployments, protecting freedoms abroad; only to return home and feel disrespected in a small American town. To the young lady: if you sat with me for five minutes, maybe you'd understand why treating others with dignity matters. To the host who stepped in and made it right; you are the reason I served. And to be clear: I left a generous tip--not for the service, but so there would be no misconceptions. I don't ask for handouts. I've worked my whole life to provide for my family. I simply expect respect in return.

You'd go early to eat and stay late to drink. It moved to Springdale more than a decade ago as Jose's Southwest Grille, near the 412/I-49 intersection, hosted many a bike night, but decided to move to Tontitown as Jose's Bar and Grill, just before Covid. The menu is similar, and most is very good. The rows of frozen margarita machines are gone, but they have plenty of beer on top, lots of TVs on game day, and a good sized patio (which was always an important part, since it's usually where the live bands play). First, we waited about 10 minutes at the front before anyone acknowledged us to be seated. Once we finally got a table, our server took our drink order and brought out the triple dipper. The dips were small portions and the cheese dip was served cold, which was pretty unappetizing. My husband ordered the all you can eat tacos, which started with only two tacos. It then took about 15 minutes for our server to return so he could order more. By that point, the flow of the meal was completely thrown off. When it came time to pay, we were told only at that moment that their card reader was down. The server suggested they could write down our card information and charge it later after closing. That is absolutely not acceptable. Luckily, we had cash, but that is not something customers should have to scramble over at the end of a meal. Overall, the service was extremely poor, the food was not up to its usual standard, and the payment situation was unprofessional. After many years of being a loyal customer, this visit left us really disappointed.
