First time there, was really exited to try it especially for having 4star reviews. But I was really disappointed. I had the shrimp fried rice with chicken and vegetables, it was disgusting. Chicken and shrimp had no flavor and chicken wasn't cooked all the way!! Broccoli had an old sour flavor to it. It was bad. We have recently moved close to this place, and I'm so upset we've never tried it before moving over here. We have ordered To-Go multiple times. Every time, the food has been so fresh. I placed an in-person order at their window. I was asked to pull to the front and wait on my order and that someone would bring it out to me. I waited for over 20mins for my order. Finally, I got out of my car in the pouring rain and went inside to check on my order. I found 3 young men/boys laughing and talking. I asked about my order. It was literally sitting on the counter getting cold. I asked why wasn't it brought out to me like they said. The boy responded "oh, we forgot." There was no apology or anything. I took my food (I had already paid) and as I walked out I heard the boys laughing. Such a rude experience. I will never return or recommend this place to anyone. I have gotten takeout from here more times than I can count, and I can say that with time they've improved immensely. They've gone from a "just okay" Chinese restaurant to serving the only Chinese food I will eat in Hattiesburg. Everything is cooked fresh to order, and portions are extremely generous. They don't scrimp on ingredients, either. If you order Moo Goo Gai Pan, they aren't going to serve you a box filled with cabbage. They really do a good job fairly balancing out the portions of chicken, and you're going to get plenty of snow peas and water chestnuts. They're also very fast! I've never had to wait more than ten minutes for an order to be ready, and I generally place large orders to feed many people. You can tell when you eat their fried items that they change their oil regularly. I've never tasted old oil, and never burped up that bad oil flavor later. They really do appear to take care to keep everything clean. I have never had a bad experience here! Don't let the usually empty parking lot fool you. When I go in to place an order and sit to wait, there is constant traffic from people either walking in to pick up their orders or people are using the drive through. Another thing I like about this restaurant is you can see their kitchen. They quite literally cook everything to order, even the egg rolls. There appears to be zero batch cooking going on here. I've read through some of the other reviews where people think the food is too expensive. I do not understand this complaint at all. Compared to what? Somebody ladling batch-cooked food into a stylophone go container? I can see how some people might think an order of fried rice is expensive if they've never ordered it, but I have ordered their chicken fried rice. It's like, a bucket of food. They serve you two pounds of cooked to order chicken fried rice, with generous amounts of chicken in it. It isn't batch-cooked fried rice with specks of pink mystery meat in it. It comes in one of those large plastic pint containers, with the lid bulging it's so tightly packed. An average person can easily have three/four meals off of this. read more

I have no idea what other commenters are taking about. I've been to this place twice and neither time did i have a bad experience. I think this place is better than my favorite Chinese place up in stl. The food you can tell was made to order. I had egg drop and wonton soup egg rolls and the house soup and cheese wonton. Everything was amazing. I also ordered mine to go thru the drive thru. Although it's not convenient to get to due to the traffic around it, I'd say it's definitely worth the hassle. Give it a try before you put all your blind faith in something someone on the internet said. I really am rooting for this business to stay afloat. Hate to see that there are already haters. Anyways try it before dismissing it. It's yum and in my opinion way better than the Buffett's around here. :) read more

The shrimp were breaded with something gooey and they were swimming in liquid sugar. They looked and tasted like glazed donuts! Oh, and no hint of coconut. They charged me 75 cents to add egg to my fried rice...and the prices are a little pricier than other Chinese restaurants in town. $7.41 for a small chicken fried rice and an order of egg rolls.
