This is my donut stop when I'm on my way home from church. Gotta have fritters for Sunday morning breakfast. The deli is pretty good, the meat selection is excellent, the produce is pretty standard. They have all the items you're used to seeing, as well as a goodly selection of freeze-dried stuff for storage. Not a bad beer selection either. Staff has always been helpful. All in all, it's a small store but nice.

I wanted to pay for gas at their kiosk station and the nasty young woman inside was in the phone. She finally acknowledged me after 3 minutes of standing there , as she seemed to be having a good time on the phone. She asked me " what do you want?" I wanted to pay for my gas with my card and she said you can pay at the pump and rolled her eyes. I have never experienced such bad customer service in this gas station . I was so mad I called corporate and felt compelled to write a review of this person that sent me to the pump. I also wanted to buy a beverage, but I was so enraged that I just walked away. I also called corporate in case this means nothing to that store management.

My daughter was very young and very close to my mom, and I thought it might make her feel better if I got her a small corsage (since her brothers would be wearing flowers as pallbearers). I knew they had flowers so I thought I'd ask. That's when I learned that they do them all the time for dances, weddings, and yep - funerals. They made it small and pretty and it was perfect. They even cut me a discount because it was small. My daughter loved it. We dried it and she still has it in her keepsakes. So ever since then I have gone to them for all of my son's dance corsages. They let me pick what I want and they will bring all of the ribbons on a specific color out for me to choose what I want. One time it didn't turn out how I wanted, there was a confusion on the instructions. They were very kind and even though she was so busy getting all of her dance orders finished she took the time to make me a new one while I waited. The price is decent, they are generally $25 for a corsage unless you want extras, and they will do matching boutonnieres. This is cheaper than I've found from a few nearby florists and they really do a good job. They appreciate orders ahead of time, but the florist told me she always makes a few extras in dance days to keep in the display fridge for those last minute kids. :) I really like this florist. The flowers are easy on those high school kids' wallets, and they do a great job. I highly recommend them!

Anywho, this place is very similar to all those other cookie-cutter type Associated Food style grocery stores (Kent's / Macey's / Winegar's, etc.) Same layout, same pricing, same deli and bakery items. Nothing wrong with that, but nothing special either. I shop here mostly out of convenience because it is close to my home and I drive by frequently but price and selection-wise, there are better grocery stores around. They do have some specials now and again that I take advantage of. B for effort I guess??
