Harmon's has a little gem inside of their store that a lot of people do not know about. 4 years ago my mom passed away and my son's were pallbearers. My daughter was very young and very close to my mom, and I thought it might make her feel better if I got her a small corsage (since her brothers would be wearing flowers as pallbearers). I knew they had flowers so I thought I'd ask. That's when I learned that they do them all the time for dances, weddings, and yep - funerals. They made it small and pretty and it was perfect. They even cut me a discount because it was small. My daughter loved it. We dried it and she still has it in her keepsakes. So ever since then I have gone to them for all of my son's dance corsages. They let me pick what I want and they will bring all of the ribbons on a specific color out for me to choose what I want. One time it didn't turn out how I wanted, there was a confusion on the instructions. They were very kind and even though she was so busy getting all of her dance orders finished she took the time to make me a new one while I waited. The price is decent, they are generally $25 for a corsage unless you want extras, and they will do matching boutonnieres. This is cheaper than I've found from a few nearby florists and they really do a good job. They appreciate orders ahead of time, but the florist told me she always makes a few extras in dance days to keep in the display fridge for those last minute kids. :) I really like this florist. 4/26/26 9:00/9:30am Bakery I ask a Lady at the Bakery if she could help me box a dozen donuts, she said that is self-service I told her I have a disability I don't think I could do it she didn't care walk away, I left went to the yogurt there was a lady there restocking the yogurt I asked her were the bag of ice is? she said up front ask for it they will help you I told her thanks I wish the Bakery was that helpful she asked me why I told her they won't even help box a dozen donuts, she went and helped me box the donuts she was very helpful thank you! We were driving 14 hours to see family for Thanksgiving with two young kids. It was dinner time and we didn't want to take the littles into a restaurant but also wanted to eat healthier than fast food. We decided in Harmons. It was the perfect stop. We grabbed some things from the pre made food area, some sushi too. It was all fantastic for grocery store made meals. Two of us are celiac and we had a good number of options that weren't just a carrot. We checked out and sat at the Indoor tables for a quick chow down. I adore Harmon's. I shop here once every couple of weeks and I have only had one or two bad experiences max, and it wasn't even because of the staff! The staff are so nice and try their best to be as helpful as possible, and definitely achieve that and help make it truly feel like a community grocer. I get food from their deli whenever possible, and I enjoy it every time. Their fried chicken is impeccable, I highly recommend it. The vibes are also immaculate, and whoever has the music on weekends has very good taste. I will continue to come here until it is no longer an option. Support your local grocers! read more

I have shopped Harmon's for years but have recently been frustrated by the number of expired products and expired produce still on the shelf. One item I purchased recently had expired over 10 months ago. I did talk to the manager about that item and she refunded my money and indicated that she would look into it immediately. A week later I returned and found yet more expired salad dressing on the shelf. For what we pay, I would expect them to keep an eye on their products and not have things in the shelf well past expiration dates. read more

Harmon's carries a pretty big name in Utah Grocers and their ability to carve out a "niche" of being both local and trendy has been good for those of us that, well, buy groceries. This is an older, smaller store and it's the one closest to my house. It is also the store I try NOT to shop for several reasons. First, it's quite a bit smaller than their newer, 'flagship' type stores so the offerings are less. Not a huge issue and it probably saves me money since I am not picking up a ton of extra things that looked really good. Second, the in stocks just are not great at this store. They tend to have more empty shelves, less supply in their deli, etc. There are particular issues around their bakery for me and I find it hard to get something as simple as a sourdough round quite often. My biggest obstacle in this store is the meat counter. I LOVE a great meat counter and while they have the same abilities as any other Harmon's, some of the cutters and folks that work the counter just don't like to help. I don't like to feel like I am putting you out when I am asking for prep ideas on expensive meat. I also want to be able to get a steak cut the way I want it. It's very hit or miss at this location. Now, I still like this store and it is several notches above most of their competition, but in the ranks of their own company, I score them down quite a bit. read more

Kaylee in the floral department is a rockstar! I needed flowers for a Pioneer Day event. She let me know when her order would be coming in so that I could arrive to get the very best selection. I didn't have room in my fridge at home so she suggested I purchase what I wanted and she kept it there in the cooler until I could pick them up for the event. I purchased a special order cake and it was not as moist as it should be. I love Harmons but special orders might not be their thing. This is the second cake I purchased, and I will not purchase another one. Their edible image wasn't working and instead of calling me, they waited for me to pick it up and it looked horrible. Just wanted to put in my two cents about the deli burritos they have in the morning. Seems they give the burritos the same treatment as the sushi. I mean, spice is great and all but not everyone likes spicy. Just last week the burritos were having and bacon with potato egg and cheese. Then today the ham burritos now have a Southwest sauce, and honestly I don't understand why this isn't just offered on the side. I mean maybe it's a personal thing, maybe not but I honestly liked the have burrito with out the spicy sauce just as much as I like the sushi without the unnecessary spicy sauce. Of course, that's even assuming that my one opinion here will change anything, which I doubt it will. That being said, be sure to check the dates on your processed foods, especially from the bakery. I bought a package of donuts last week. Didn't realize till I got home that they were nearly two weeks past the expiration date. Three weeks ago I was kicked out of Harmons they discriminated against me because I have asthma and I am not able to wear the mask I had no symptoms of being sick and they told me I am not welcome in their store and they made me leave and they said they can turn away anybody if this was about health they would've never dreamt of kicking me out because that mask actually put my life at risk it is very scary when you cannot breathe in the mask makes me feel like I am smothering to death I even have a doctors note saying that masks are not required for me I have severe asthma they could have cared less I will never shop at this place again read more

Harmons is the top-notch grocery store around here. They are usually a little more pricey but they offer higher quality and better selection than the competitors. Their deli section is really nice and they have a nice floral section too. The artisan beads at the bakery are all very good as well. They also have a very vice cheese section. read more

This is by far my favorite grocery store. The food always seems fresh, the decorations make me feel good and the staff is always kind.

We used the Harmon's bakery for our daughter's first birthday cake and smash cake. The employee we worked with was amazing with helping us choose the cakes and seemed to show genuine excitement to create them for us. The cakes themselves were amazing, looked exactly the way we wanted, and tasted great. They were ready when we wanted and exceeded our expectations. The care they put into their work was truly great to see. We will continue to use this bakery and recommend them every chance we get. read more

I love the foodie club card. However, I miss that first year of freebies. That was the best.

I love Harmons. I always can rely on their store to be stocked with the oddball items I need to cook some of my dishes. Their specialty cheese section may be the death of me. There are so many wonderful cheeses and if they have someone stationed at the cheese station they are always great to help you find the perfect cheese or let you try out some samples. Very knowledgeable at recommending a cheese to go with specific foods or even what foods to go with the cheese you chose. The bakery always has the perfect baguette to colpiment the cheese you bought. Or they also have other wonderful breads for almost anything you'd need. The chibatta bread is wonderful for paninis. I also enjoy the small portions of their wonderful desserts they have available. There's just my husband and I and we don't eat a lot of sweets so it's nice to be able to grab a small baggie of pumpkin chocolate chip cookies instead of the giant container. The deli/salad bar is always a wonderful option for lunch. The salad bar is pretty nicely stocked to make a great salad. The soups are usually rotating but, I can never resist the tomato basil. The seafood roasted red pepper (?, not sure if that's the correct name) is also one of my other favorites. If salad isn't your style they have excellent fried chicken, grilled salmon and various other pasta salads or sides available. Another item they have is mac n' cheese that is kept warm for lunch, it is quite delectable especially when paired with the fried chicken. The produce and meat sections are what initially pulled me to this store. I love the selections available for fruit and veggies I believe most of it is locally grown and I have never come across any produce I skipped over because it looked like it was going bad. They also prepare really wonderful containers of hummus and salsa. The meat selection is to die for and i also believe most of it is from a local farm. The chicken breast are hand trimmed so I am not paying for the fat along with chicken. I also have less work when I am preparing to cook dinner. The staff is always super friendly and very helpful. Every aisle also has labels telling you what is local or recommended by their nutritionists as a healthy pick or noting if it is organic. I love shopping here and I now refuse to go into any walmart because this store has spoiled me so much. One day I plan to take a cooking class at their other locations. read more

Harmons have changed over the past year or so The only reason we go there is because we have two kids working there The prices are not as good as other grocery stores and I don't mean Walmart because I refuse to shop at Walmart The company always wants to push the harmons brand items on you but it is not as good as name brand They also take no consideration for there employees they make them work every shift from opening to closing and they don't take in families when scheduling employees to work there is no consistency It seems like they are just concerned about the dollar This has changed in the past year or so Customer service is not great read more

We really like the quality of the produce. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because some of the prices are high and Harmons won't price match. We were going to give the eShop a try, but when we found an exact item for 50 cents a pound less at another local grocer, we gave Harmon's a call. We asked if they would price match, and the gal said, "nope". Harmon's carries a great selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, but our shopping experience would be a whole lot better if they would change a few policies. read more

Love Harmons! Discovered the store when working down in Farmington. Decided it was worth the cost to pay more to shop here than any other grocery shop because it is a pleasing experience. I love how astetically pleasing the produce section is! Samples are given thru out the store, including at the cheese round-a-bout. Rhonda is the Manager of the Cheese area and she will happily allow you a sample of any of the cheese, try more than one! This is the place to get your grocery goods! read more

They knew exactly what I was looking and they gave me an answer in seconds. When I went to the store they took me to the item immediately. From my experience at 3 store locations is that the deli and bakery sections are higher quality at the Roy store than Farmington and West Valley. As one specific example are the pot pies and cooked vegetables which I believe are better from Roy. The pot pies had several large pieces of meat in Roy compared to 4-5 small cut square pieces in each pie from the other locations. The flavor was much better. Also the Roy bakery was more varied although smaller. I was able to purchase almond and chocolate croissants as well as butter, where the other store in Farmington only expressed surprise when I asked for almond and chocolate croissants and if I could purchase any variety individually, 1-2, instead of 6- or more prepackaged. However I love the aged meat from the Farmington store above the others. The employees were very helpful at ALL locations and the produce sections are several stars better than the national food chain stores. read more
