I had a very disappointing and uncomfortable experience. The massage therapist spent a significant amount of time on her phone during my appointment, which made me feel like I wasn't receiving the professional service I paid for. Even more concerning, she pulled down my underwear without explaining what she was doing or asking for my consent, which made me extremely uncomfortable. She also kept leaving the room during my massage. Overall, the experience felt very unprofessional and disrespectful. I would not recommend this business to anyone looking for a comfortable, professional massage. read more

I gave this place 5 stars because it's literally the only Asian massage parlor in the area that is 100% professional. Otherwise, you get what you pay for... I saw one review where the lady said she didn't feel as if her muscles were completely worked out, and I agree. However, for $65 for 90 mins they are good enough here to put you in a deep state of relaxation. If you want a real deal massage from a professional that won't try to beat you off just go on Massagetherapy.com, but sadly, those people are so hard to book and this place is good because it's on a walk-in basis. read more

This is my go to spot when I need a nice relaxing massage. I almost always bring a friend with me because I love to spoil my friends. And I like that they have a private room for two. Most of my visits were really good. I prefer the foot massages over the regular massages to be honest because I like hands on and not so much elbow. Everyone is pretty nice and accommodating for the most part. The last visit I had was slightly a turn off only because when we were about to leave they stopped us and asked for a tip. A tip that we had left on the massage chair in the room. Other than that I enjoy coming here. read more

It hurts so good! If you're looking for a relaxing, spa day kinda massage, this honestly isn't your place. However, if you're looking to have the week's knots and tension taken care of, it's perfect. These girls do not mess around. My job leaves me with a pretty sore back, shoulders and neck by the end of the week. My aches and pains are no match for these women. It's like they just KNOW where I'm hurting, and they zero right in on those spots and don't give up til those knots are gone! They keep the place very clean and they're always so nice. Had a couple massages and by far the worst experience. Couldn't relax because they wanted to chat it up like 2 school girls the whole time. They left our door to the room cracked open and can hear the front door bell constantly going off. And the icing on the cake was to catch my husband getting the short end of the stick. The girl was massaging his shoulder with one hand while she was on her cell with the other. I can say so much more about this experience. But I'll sum it up by saying I paid $112 to leave more stress and pissed than when I arrived. Walk ins welcome !! That's what my sister and I did! We got the foot massage for 20.00/an hour! We walked in and was greeted right away. The place is clean, neat and quiet, super calm with nice Chinese melody music in the background. The room where we got the massage is dim and also clean, love the smell of it, like roses! Going in the couples room thinking that they were only giving me a foot massage, nope ! We got the facial, arm and neck, & back rub, which by the way felt so amazing !! The only thing I hate was the smell of the therapeutic lotion that they rub on us, it smelt like pickles! The ladies were so gentle and rough at the same time but it's perfect because I seriously needed that, they are so caring, they made sure to ask us if we feel ok or if it's too rough or too gentle. Even tho they speak English with a little ascent I could still understand them and they talk to us very friendly tone! I'm bringing my husband in next time for a couples massage! I was recommended by a friend to try this place. I get weekly massages and I'm always looking for better places. Unfortunately this is not one of those times. I went there last week for a 1 hr massage around 745p, one thing I learned is its better to get a massage earlier in the day so you don't get someone whose all worn out by evening time (during my massage my girl was huffing and puffing like she had the longest day ever, felt kinda bad for her) Before the massage even started I waited there under a towel for about 15 minutes, I thought they had forgotten I was in there. The massage itself was "ok" at best. She was not consistent with the pressure and she rubbed bone instead of muscle several times. I honestly felt worse after the massage than before I walked in. At one point she put my right arm in a position that felt uncomfortable, the next day my shoulder is hurting, I haven't been able to lift my arm without pain in my shoulder for 4 days now :( read more

Secure and well-lit parking. Upon entering, you will notice the modern décor and peaceful atmosphere. I really like the water feature and floral arrangements, tranquil and colorful. The facility is neat and clean throughout, and the friendly staff are very attentive and communicate well. The private rooms are quiet with soothing music and the newer type massage tables are superb. There is also a towel warmer in each room and the air is kept fresh and just right in temperature. I do not usually write reviews but I'll try. I started informally learning massage back in 1979 and received my certification in 1990. I have worked professionally in massage for over 20 years in San Francisco, Napa, Calistoga with over 6 years in the medical field working with auto accidents, injuries, workmen's comp injuries, sciatica, whiplash just to name a few, as well as having my own practice. I am now retired and not doing professional massage for a living. So I know a good massage and a bad massage when I get one. Moving to Modesto about 10 years ago I had been searching for a quality massage therapist that charged a reasonable rate so I can afford to get a massage more than just once a month. I have gone to most of the Asian massage places and actually found a good bodywork or 2, unfortunately they seem to move away and I find myself in the same place I started, Frustrating. Over the years of looking and searching there has always been one place that I have gone back to, Asian Health Massage. And guys, I have to tell you if you're looking for a happy ending, keep looking someplace else. This is not the place you want, there are other places in Modesto that can give you what you want. But if you're looking for a good massage at a reasonable rate, this is place to go. Myself, I like deep tissue, if they're not making me scream in a good way then it's way too light for me. I do have to say, if you're a bodybuilder with very tight muscles that need to be torn up, the girls may not go deep enough for you. But I find they are very open to instructions in targeting those tight knots. I highly recommend giving them a try, you just can't beat the price. I've been extremely blessed to have associated myself with these wonderful ladies that run this massage shop. These 4 girls have been working together for years and are by all accounts a family that support and care for each other. It seems like they live at the shop and only go home to sleep and cooked food to eat at the shop. They work way harder than I ever did. Each and every one was qualified, professional, took the time to ask about the amount of pressure I preferred, and had excellent technique. They asked questions and were careful about stretching (I have had several knee and shoulder operations). None were in and out of the room, on the phone or talking to others outside the door as I have experienced with other spas. I was very dissatisfied with my massage. I asked multiple times for her not to use her finger tips because I am very ticklish and to use MORE pressure. Most of the massage felt like she was just rubbing the lotion into my skin. I even swapped ladies with my sister and still had to repeat myself multiple times. I eventually gave up telling her how I wanted it. The ladies talked to each other the whole entire time. It wasn't relaxing or good at all. When we paid and I didn't tip her on my card the lady said "oh you pay tip in cash" I replied "no" she asked me "oh you didn't like your massage and I explained to her no and why.
