I admit that I'm tense, but that was why I was getting a deep tissue massage. In actuality, I feel like the tissue of my back was hardly touched and I felt guilty for coming in so tense, as she repeatedly told me that I was not relaxing when I was trying my absolute hardest, and said that I was causing her pain by coming so tense. The guilt trip was rough- I've never felt at fault for arriving tense to a deep tissue massage before. If this is her method of deep tissue massage that's her prerogative but I do wish it had been advertised in such a way as I left feeling a bit battered and with none of the knots in my back addressed much at all. Unfortunately their prices keep going up too.
