Being that this place is fairly new I was able to book an appointment same day with Stephanie and I'm so glad I found her :) When I walked in she asked me if I had any problem areas and I told her mostly my shoulders and upper back because I work at a desk all day and my body gets stiff and I feel like I may have some knots. She was magic ! She concentrated in my upper back and shoulder area and pretty much got rid of all my knots ! I felt like a brand new person when I left there. The only thing I wasn't super happy about was when I flipped to my front side - she didn't want work on my shins or thighs and being that I am someone who works out and get massages pretty frequently it was odd to me that area was overlooked.

I did not have high hopes as most subscription based massage places have a lot of turnover and therapist that just seem like they want to get through the 50 minutes exuding the least amount of energy as possible. My massage therapist at LaVita was exactly the opposite. He asked about my trouble areas and gave me the best deep tissue massage I have ever received focusing on the knots in my back that were causing pain. Most 1 hour massages are a clinical hour "50 minutes". They give you 5 minutes to get ready and 5 minutes to get dressed. Some places take this to the next level, I've watched the clock and received 40 minutes in some cases. Not here, after 3 visits I have never felt they were limiting my massage time or putting less effort in to the massage since I subscribed to the monthly program. I highly recommend!

They have flavored water and seltzer water and also offer wine or mimosas. The lounge is very relaxing too so it sets the mood for you before getting your massage and facial. My first service was a facial and it was done by Daniella. She was great. The sweetest lady and really took her time on my face. I explained to her how my hormones were changing with the pregnancy and my skin was doing some crazy things and she knew exactly what I needed. She explained my skin was pretty good and the random spots of dryness were just of the pregnancy. She did an excellent job on my face. My face was glowing for days after. She knew I wanted to relax as well so she kept the talking to a minimum and made sure I was relaxed and comfortable throughout the facial. The actual business is slightly difficult to pick out as it is upstairs from a law office, which seems to be the only thing labeled on the building.
