As I wandered through the store, I noticed how they had great items as well as excellent prices. Finally I got back to the suits and Ed started to talk to me. I did not know he was the owner but was very impressed with his level of knowledge. Two suits, a shirt and two ties later, I left extremely please. They replied via e-mail within hours and said "No problem" come on down. My other choice was going to be Men's Warehouse but after looking at the horrible reviews on their Duluth outlet I made up my mind to trust Mainstream Fashions for Men. What a great decision that was. I arrived at 10:00am and after just a couple questions he had pulled out a suit coat to try on and the second one fit perfect. Without asking my measurements he pulled out a pair of pants that fit perfectly and then did the same with a collared shirt. I was done in 15 minutes and as I was leaving the store he was already taking my suit to their alterations store across the street and he notified me by text when they were done. Wow, if only every store offered that kind of customer service. I can't recommend this place enough and I found the prices to be very reasonable. I was able to find a pair of leggings I liked but the selection here wasn't as large as other Kohl's. We also couldn't find any socks that my mom wanted-- she likes certain types of fold-over socks so we had to make due. All in all it was fine!

And we were happy to see that Glik's was open on our most recent trip, considering everything going on with COVID-19. We strived to be safe on this trip and take proper precautions. This involved during a quick trip to downtown Hayward. And we found that Glik's has put up a plexiglass barrier at the register, to help protect staff and guests. The dressing rooms were also closed to guests. This did provide some difficulty when it came to deciding what to buy, but I understand why they did this. Holding up a shirt to myself while looking in a mirror gave me an idea, and happily, the shirt fit when I got home and tried it on. The owner/manager was there when we visited. She's always been friendly when we've seen her. Happy to find that this is the same Glik's, with some extra precautions in place.

My sizes have changed and I was looking for a whole new set up. Suits, shirts, etc. I walked around the store for 20-25 mins and not one of the clowns working there even made eye contact with me, let alone speak to me. The place was not busy. When I approached the kid at the counter I told him I was looking to buy 5-6 suits. He said "I'll be with you in a minute." It seems folding shirts was more important than my business. I finally decided to buy a shirt just to see if I could interact with one guy. The jackhole at the counter (a new guy) didn't even look at me once. Had his head in the CPU for whatever reason. Finally another customer said, "I think this guy needs some help." The dummy at the desk said "I'll be with you in a minute." Ha! They must have a new company trainer and that's their catchphrase. I just put the shirt down, told the guy I went in there to buy 5-6 suits and accessories and that not one of the asshats working there even spoke to me once. No eye contact, nothing. I must say, it wasn't like I was wearing anything odd. Golf shorts, long sleeve shirt, flip flops. If the guy would have taken two minutes to look me up in his system, he would have seen how many suits I've purchase there over the years. I asked the first nimwit if he could look me up in the system and he said "we don't do that." This company has lost its way. When O was traveling a lot for work and my bags didn't shop up at the airport, I could always call MW in the town I was in and they would throw something together for me last minute and deliver it. This is an all volunteer shop opened in the summer 7 days a week - 6 days in the winter. Really fair prices!
