They also even had plant stands and floral arrangements. I got 1.5lbs of fresh made spinach fettuccine from Fasta & Ravioli, two very tasty bagels from Bagel Lovers (foccacia flavored and everything egg bagels--both were SO delicious and a great texture; they also had tons of other varieties like pumpernickel, onion, and blueberry, all made fresh daily and for a very reasonable price -- I think I paid something around $3 for my two bagels). The fried chicken was the highlight of the meal. It had a golden-brown, crispy coating and was cooked perfectly--juicy, tender, and not dried out at all. The portions were generous, with some of the largest pieces of fried chicken I've seen from a hot food counter. The mac and cheese was creamy and comforting, making for a great side dish. The cornbread muffin was moist, soft, and paired well with the meal. The only downside was the potato wedges. They were seasoned well, but a few pieces tasted a little overcooked or burnt, which took away from an otherwise solid meal. Overall, this was a very good first experience. Between the large portions, fresh food, and flavorful chicken, it's definitely worth stopping in if you're looking for a quick comfort-food meal. I'd happily go back and try it again.
