Just browsing today and noticed At Home is geared up for fall/Halloween: lots of leaves, pumpkins,…read moregruesome characters, and blow-ups. Staff here are consistently helpful and friendly, whether you're looking for a specific item or checking out. If you're decorating or planning a party for fall, now is the time to secure supplies or get ideas. Summer patio items are currently on sale, and some of the ceramic pots that survive outside winters are on sale too.

I appreciate the large aisles that invite perusing and allow access for those in wheelchairs or motorized shopping carts. Now for value: this is where I think they lose a star. There are A LOT of Clearance shelves but when I looked at the prices they seemed regular price to me. $8.99 for a basic tray? Seems high but maybe not. Could be a designer tray. For example, I came in for a Disney spoon rest. The Disney name always carries a higher price tag, but my ceramic spoon rest is only $9.99. It's also ceramic versus plastic or rubber which would be less expensive material. So look at what you're getting for your dollars and shop away. For most things, you're getting value for your money. I read previous reviews before shopping. I did not look at the furniture so this review does not include the furniture.

We moved all the old furniture out of the room except the new mattress, which we left on the floor, sitting on the new plastic it was wrapped in. Upon arrival I asked the delivery crew if they needed me to move the mattress or lean it against one of the walls of the room so it would be out of the way. He said not to bother, they'd handle it. I waited downstairs with my wife as they put our furniture together. An hour later they asked me to come up and inspect. We noticed the mattress wasn't in the room and assumed they had moved it. After inspecting we went back downstairs to wait. One of the men approached us and asked us to sign for the job because they were done. We asked about our mattress to which he replied there wasn't one to be delivered. We explained we weren't having one delivered, that it was already here. Where was our brand new mattress? They just looked at us blankly. We explained again, and suddenly a light turned on for one of the men. He suddenly began profusely apologizing. Turns out they took it to the curb in the rain and were going to throw it out. Upon reviewing our security cam footage we could see they took our brand new mattress to their truck where they leaned it against it, one side on the road for 30 min. When they brought it back inside it was covered in dirt, soaked in rain and the new fabric was roughed up. Called Bob's and got a customer service person. Hard to understand them but they were helpful. We've been told it can take up to 72 business hours for someone to return our call and review our claim. We will never do business with this store again. Beware! Avoid their delivery service.

The sort of stuff you might put in a guest room to never really get used but it looks okay.) I was looking for some cheapo furniture so I went in and was blown away at how expensive they had gotten, either over time or in the transfer from CT to here. When I asked the salesman (who was too overbearing in the way of fully commission-based sales people in stores that don't value their customers or employees) why the furniture was so expensive if it was a discount furniture store as the store is called and as they had traditionally been he told me they weren't a discount store; they were a regular full-priced furniture store. So I'm here to tell you that if you're going to pay full price for furniture, please trust me: this isn't the company to trust. you'll save money and have longer lasting furniture even from a bottom of the barrel place like IKEA, and that isn't saying much.

Smucker Gardens knows how to kick off fall in style! My first visit was for their 2025 Mum…read moreFestival, and let me tell you--it was everything I hoped for and then some. The Scene: Easy to find on GPS, well-signed from the road, and plenty of parking in the gravel lot. Their greenhouses are massive and overflowing with plants, and inside the main building you'll find home décor, gifts, and seasonal goodies galore. Prices lean a touch higher than some other local greenhouses, but given the location and setup, it felt fair. The Mum Festival: Perfectly organized. Food trucks up front (grab a bite first, wander later--smart!), vendor tents sprinkled throughout, live music filling the air, and kids' activities that looked like pure joy. It was a warm, sunny September Saturday--ideal fall fest weather. The Adventure: While mums and pumpkins were great for the vibe, my main goal was something a little...unexpected. The ad mentioned camel rides. Yes, CAMEL rides. At a mum fest. At 40 years old, I had never ridden a camel, and I wasn't about to miss my shot. I called ahead to confirm that the "kids activity" was indeed open to grown-ups, too. Fast forward to the fest--I see the sign: "Camel Rides $10 Per Person." Ten bucks for a once-in-a-Central-PA-lifetime adventure? SOLD. Nervous, excited, and slightly in disbelief, I climbed aboard. And it was everything I hoped it would be--totally worth the thrill (and the bragging rights). The Food: Yummy eats from food trucks and coffee from Brewboxx to keep the energy high. Perfect fuel for festival hopping. All in all: a fun, unique, and memorable event. Smucker Gardens is worth a visit on any regular day--but during Mum Fest? Add it to your fall bucket list.
