This is a great place to get involved, meet people, and feel a sense of community. It is a rather large congregation for the valley, but it is well managed. Three services are offered every Sunday, 8, 9:30, and 11. Get there early, and the first 20 minutes are filled with song worship. Pastor Craig Smith is the Lead pastor, and he is very easy to listen to. He gives Bible-based sermons, and throws in a few jokes here and there. He is great at keeping the audience engaged. There are many volunteer opportunities and even childcare.

I came hoping to hear a message of comfort, unity, and guidance during such divided times in our nation. Instead I was shocked to hear the Pastor of the church use his time before a congregation to speak of his political stance regarding our recent election. He said he was "very happy" with the outcome of the election and went on to say it was "God's will". While people are entitled to their own political opinions, I have been raised that this type of rhetoric has NO place in a house of worship. From what I experienced today, I don't believe this church teaches the fundamental truths of the Bible, but instead manipulates Gods word in a most self-serving way. It was a Very sad experience and one I had to share.

From all of the SUVs and ski boot tracks, looks like people zip into church then leave their cars their to park. The NO SKIER PARKING suggests skiers just leave their cars their altogether.
