Instead I was shocked to hear the Pastor of the church use his time before a congregation to speak of his political stance regarding our recent election. He said he was "very happy" with the outcome of the election and went on to say it was "God's will". While people are entitled to their own political opinions, I have been raised that this type of rhetoric has NO place in a house of worship. From what I experienced today, I don't believe this church teaches the fundamental truths of the Bible, but instead manipulates Gods word in a most self-serving way.
