In the beginning it was really nice, but two…read moreyears ago the property was taken over by a company called New Earth Residential, and EVERYTHING changed. New Earth Residential is a preditory company that employs every trick in the book to scam their residents into paying numerous sketchy fees on top of the ever-increasing exorbitant rent increases year after year. In addition they require residents to sign away rights to their personal information, which the company then sells to various third party companies for their own profit. There are better options in Jackson. Stay away from this place.

I had been put on the waiting list in October 2020, was told I was number 5 on the waiting list. I was not told to make any payments for a lease hold fee (which is a non-refundable $200+ fee as well as a $40 application fee) had I known this was needed it would have been paid. I had reached out in February to where I stood on the list - no response. Through internet searches, I discovered that there were two units coming available in May so I took it upon myself to reach out to see if I could get one of those units...(I was never notified that they were available) I was then offered a unit to which I called multiple times to say I would go ahead and they never picked up my calls. So last resort I emailed to say I would like to go ahead with the unit and I was eventually notified the unit had be given away... It is quite clear they arent concerned about honoring the list of people. A respectful business would have honored the people waiting in line especially when they said they were interested. Disappointed by this I then tried to call the office and never got an answer *multiple times* (also they note that they are always reachable between 9-5 M-F...clearly not) I finally got my call answered, said my name and that we were talking last week about me going ahead with a unit and was greeted in a disrespectful tone and clearly spoken down too in an extremely unprofessional way. I was in shock that a prospective resident was treated like that. Still in shock. I had then asked simple questions and again was spoken to horribly. Save yourself the wasted time and stress of dealing with this 'manager' and leave the housing hunt for elsewhere....If this is how you get treated trying to get an apartment before they even have your money, imagine what it would be like to have them not care about you at all when you live on property and they take your money every month. Disgusting.

If there's no traffic it's another 7-8ish minutes to the town of Jackson. We booked the Alta Vista house and a condo booked for 5 nights (due to the size of our family). The house was beautiful and had an amazing view of the Tetons from a large backyard. We have kids and they were beyond accommodating with having multiple high chairs, cribs, and a pack n play in the house ready for our arrival. The house did not have air conditioning which I think is fine for the majority of the time, but it was in the high 80s while we were there and there were a few nights that were incredibly hot upstairs. They did have multiple fans in every single bedroom which was nice. This wouldn't stop me from staying there again but a few things that I was surprised about... -3 of the 4 bath tubs had the stop drain removed so you couldn't fill them for kids to take a bath -one of the closets had an opening to the attic and there was insulation kind of hanging down out of it -the beds were all made with an insane amount of blankets, comforters, etc. I'm assuming they use the same bedding year round -the hot tub was closed for repairs, but no one seemed to be repairing it -it's $75 for a key to turn on the firepit... We booked the horseback riding online for 4 people. Unfortunately one person was unable to make it and we were able to have another family member take his place. Our guide was Hannah and she was amazing! She was incredibly helpful, shared a ton of facts and information along the way, and was really kind. I would definitely go back - just for the ease of everything and the amazing views knowing that there are likely a few things to keep in mind when booking.

Check in was easy but wasn't told the pool was closed and reception is closed during the evening. My stay was upstairs, which wasn't specified in the description. The rooms were clean, but the master bedroom did not have any closet space. When we decided to use the pool, we were told it was closed because it was in need of repairs. There was construction going on so there was noise during the day. Because it is off the grid, it is very easy to hear. If you're looking for something near the action, this place is not recommended.

Quick to respond and very helpful with the planning of packing supplies needed. 4 strong movers, all so polite, hard workers and efficient. They worked well together and finished faster than expected each time. I've had poor experiences with other moving companies which left me a little doubtful of other companies.. but hands down, Teton Movers are not like the others! I look forward to hiring them again in the future. Thank you Peter and Teton Movers!!

I cannot recommend Teton Movers based on our experience. I…read moream a military brat and also served in the military, so I have moved many times throughout my life. This was, by far, the worst move I have experienced. We provided multiple video walkthroughs before the move, but when the driver finally arrived, we were told they only had one video and that some rooms/items were not accounted for. I had called multiple times beforehand to ask whether they needed additional time or information for packing, and I was repeatedly assured they did not. The movers were scheduled to arrive at 9:00 a.m. but did not arrive until about 12:45 p.m. They brought a truck that was too small, did not bring enough boxes, and did not have enough packing materials. They eventually had to purchase more boxes and rent a U-Haul trailer, and we still had to buy about $300 worth of plastic tubs and bins ourselves just to get everything packed. We also had to load items into our personal vehicles because there still was not enough space. The packing process was extremely disappointing. There were major communication barriers with the driver and the two movers who packed and loaded our belongings, which made an already stressful situation even harder. Many items appeared to be packed carelessly, with very little protective material. Some glasses had only a single sheet of paper around them, and I even found what appeared to be a used napkin wrapped around one glass. In several boxes, our own clothing was used as packing material. Because of the delays and lack of preparation, we did not leave our former residence until around 10:00 p.m. and then had to drive through the night because we were closing on our new home the next day. Teton Movers was aware of our timeline. Since the move, we have found many broken items. One of the most upsetting losses was a handcrafted glass bowl from Italy that was given to us as a wedding gift. It is now completely destroyed and cannot be replaced. The only bright spot in the entire move was the two movers who helped unload at our destination. They were professional and helpful, and I appreciated their work. Unfortunately, that positive experience does not outweigh the overall lack of preparation, communication, care for our belongings, and professionalism during the rest of the move. I also could not easily find clear information on their website about how to file a claim for damaged property. Based on this experience, I would not use Teton Movers again and would caution others, especially military families or anyone on a strict moving timeline, to carefully consider other options.

Detailed Review of Cabina…read more Our vacation was ruined due to the extremely poor condition of the rental property and the irresponsible attitude of Cabina. We booked a house at 4160 Grandview Rd. #5 from September 10 to September 14. Upon arrival around 7 p.m., we discovered the following: * The rooms were poorly cleaned. Dust was present on all surfaces. It was obvious that the floor had only been vacuumed along the main walking paths, while areas near the furniture were completely neglected. For example, next to the bed where we were supposed to sleep, behind the nightstand, there was a large accumulation of dirt. * Leftover trash from previous guests. On the window sills we found a wooden popsicle stick, pieces of packaging, a hair tie, and other debris. * Bedding. The pillows had clear signs of prior use. When we lifted the blanket, it was obvious that the sheets had not been changed: they had hair, stains, and an unpleasant odor. This is absolutely unacceptable for any rental property. * Upstairs bathroom. The sink and fixtures were dirty, the mirror was covered in stains, and inside the shower we found hair left by previous guests. The entire bathroom looked neglected and had clearly not been cleaned properly for a long time. * Kitchen. The countertops were sticky, the refrigerator was filthy, and behind the drawers there was trash from earlier guests. The kitchen left a very bad impression overall. By the time we realized the true condition of the bedding (around 9 p.m.), it was too late to find and book another place for the night. Our friends (two families) who arrived a little later were forced to go to a store and buy new bedding just to make it through the night. My family included a small child. I suffer from chronic allergies to dust and mold, and after spending just one night in this house I had a serious allergic reaction. The next day, my wife, child, and I decided to move to another nearby hotel because it was simply impossible to remain in such conditions. A separate issue deserves special attention: the situation with the cleaning company. After our complaint, Cabina suggested sending cleaners. We explained that our daytime hours were fully planned with visits to the park, and that we returned home only after 6 p.m., so we could meet the cleaning crew around 7 p.m.. Instead, we received an absurd response that the cleaners could only come at midnight. This is outrageous and demonstrates complete disrespect for customers. I honestly don't know what Cabina was trying to prove with such a response--other than showing that they simply don't care about their guests' time or comfort. Later, when we contacted customer support (by Kateryna Kolha), we were told that the issue had supposedly been referred to their insurance company. However, as soon as we asked for the claim number and the name of the insurance company, communication stopped entirely, and they ignored all further messages. In the end, we were forced to move to the Sawtelle Mountain Resort, which cost us an additional $621. This hotel left a completely different impression--everything was perfect: clean, well-organized, and properly prepared for guests, exactly as it should be. We strongly do not recommend Cabina. The property was dirty and unprepared, the company failed to meet its obligations, and the customer support experience--with the ridiculous suggestion of midnight cleaning--only made matters worse. This experience ruined our vacation and destroyed any trust in this service.
