You'll get your own private cabin equipped with a kitchenette that's fully stocked for cooking. It has it's own patio with picnic table and a grill. You also have your own fire pit and parking spot. Inside, it is charmingly decorated with rustic western décor. The bathroom is modern and the bedroom is cozy. I absolutely loved my stay here. Apparently, moose have been known to roam around the property, but I never saw but I am sure they are around during dawn/dusk. There is also a communal hot tub. I just love the privacy. It felt like my own little home.

The moment we sat down, the kindness started immediately. I don't remember being greeted with that much of a smile that was authentic about being present, and then being proud about the food that they serve, and the specials that were offered. I think one of the things we want when we come on vacation, our great memorable experiences, and I think that's exactly what you're gonna get when you come to this wonderful restaurant. Now we haven't received the food yet, in my review so far is not about the food as much as it is about the experience, which sometimes could be more impactful than the food itself. It was certainly a warmer place than we had been laying our heads so we were appreciative of many of the amenities. They have onsite laundry for your smelly clothes or if you want to get caught up with laundry before getting home to unpack. Let it be known that it is $10.00 PER LOAD -$5 wash/$5 dry. The walls and ceiling are incredibly thin. They do provide cute notes and ear plugs to overcome this objective. It was tolerable for us but be aware. You will hear your neighbors. Superb location. Quick walk (5-10 min) to many great spots around Jackson. Super quick walk to Pearl St Bagels. In room coffee station did not include any tea options. Overall decent room for value.

Modern Motel is a cluster of buildings around a central courtyard with a fire pit. It has a wonderful location within easy walking distance to all of Jackson's restaurants and shopping. Modern gives you a small room with a small bathroom. The room was recently redecorated with carpeting and wall decor, so it was very neat. But it was short on electrical plugs and the room was dark -even with all the lights and lamps on, there were shadows in the room. The heat was noisy (when it first came on we thought it was a rainstorm) and the bathroom fan was noisier. There are no dressers, but an oversized tall wall cutout for your skis. There is a built-in bottle opener on the wall. Speaking of walls, they are pretty thin so you'll hear every sneeze, cough, and footstep. but no worries - because this is the only motel I've ever seen that prov8des earplugs for the room. There are some great features, besides the location. Service was great, and when we had a problem with the shower, a gent from the office was over to get things going within minutes.

We loved having two sinks in the bathroom setup--it made mornings a breeze. The front desk team was kind and welcoming, but there were definite gaps in communication between what I booked online and what the hotel had on file. I had ordered chocolate-covered strawberries for arrival and boxed lunches for our hiking day--neither were acknowledged, and the strawberries never showed up. Also, a $35/night hotel fee popped up that was never disclosed during booking. Thankfully, it was waived due to the service issues, but it's something other guests should be aware of. Would I stay again? Yes. Overall, it's a very nice place to stay--comfortable, clean, and in a good location--but the pricing does feel a little inflated for what you actually get. Then again... that's Jackson Hole!

The showers are super clean and have body soaps. I always use my own but still a nice touch, like staying at hotel. I recommend getting a room with AC in the summer. It was so relaxing and cute. And then came the waffles. Warm, perfectly crisp, with melted butter and brown sugar that somehow tasted even better at the top of a mountain. Simple, cozy, and honestly one of the most memorable things I ate on this trip. Between the incredible scenery, the adrenaline rush of getting there, and those delicious waffles, this ended up being one of my favorite experiences in Wyoming. We weren't super hungry at the time, so we decided to just share one waffle. We went with the Cobbler which has mixed berry compote and whipped cream. The waffle was just okay. Not sure if the scent of them overpowered the taste or if they had just been really hyped up and we were expecting more. I found the waffle to be a bit on the dry side and very crumbly. The berry compote was the best part of it. Maybe they were having an off day as I see so many great reviews and recommendations for this place. I was sad it left me a bit on the disappointed side of things.

The room had all the essentials (mini fridge, dishwasher, silverware, plates, microwave, etc) and a fireplace / balcony. The balcony was handy for wet things and the room had a boot / glove dryer too. My son used the spa tub in the bathroom, while I did not -- I appreciated the very hot water. Our family would book here again. If you stop by Spur, I highly recommend the burger. Top notch!
