My 77 yo mother went there bc we had heard they were the place to go to get dentures. Not knowing i led her into the lions den!! The worst dentist ever that never spent more than 30 seconds in the room with her. And when i went to her next appointment with her i was in disbelief when this so called dentist was slapping his hands in our face! Insisting he explained the process to her (my 77 yo mother). Then exclaimed in the common hallway how he "would kill himself if he had to keep taking care of this woman"! Now that iz only after i asked him why he was being so "aggressive" didnot even introduce himself, nor did he ever attempt to make my mother feel at ease or reassured. We were then treated as if we were the problem! I was told to keep my voice down when after hearing this man completely verbally accost my mother i said "what the fuck is wrong with this guy! He's an asshole!" We were then escorted to the managers office, where i definitely asked her "would u let a doctor speak to your mother that way?" And her response was "please stop yelling at me or i will call the cops." Are u serious?? Then tried to blame me bc my mother did not understand the process of getting dentures! Not to mention they took it upon them selves to charge her for the most expensive denture they offered which she did not ever agree too. And only offered a fraction of her money back as a refund, and still never explained the fit of the healing denture or let her try the pair on they had in the exam room after the dentist threw a tNtr.like a 10 yo. Bc he couldnt listen to her questions and show some compassion or reassurance for 2 minutes to make her feel at ease about the teeth she spent 10 thousand dollars on fitting appropriately for the remainder of her life! read more

This place is only to make profits off of you for items you do not need and they will strong arm you and refuse service if you don't purchase their scams to earn their bonuses. Please read, I'm only trying to help others by making them aware of the scam and will post this to every media outlet I can find!! They will try to sell you Arestin a antibiotic they will claim they need to give you in order to get a simple cleaning. They will charge you around $112 a tooth for as many teeth they will like to get a bonus for but will always keep it to just under $1000. I've done so much digging and research on this and am trying to make this as public as possible!! You do not need the Arestin, your insurance will not pay for it because it's not necessary and considers the antimicrobial agent experimental and investigative and not a necessity. Yet Aspen dental will tell you that they will not provide any services to you until you pay for it. Even a cleaning they will refuse to do until you pay them. They will try to tell you if you can't afford it out of pocket. You can get a credit card through them and like I said they will always keep it just under $1,000 to try to make people think they have to get that and it's only $1,000 on a credit card. Please just be careful this is a scam. They're in this industry not for medical care but so they can make bonuses and they can make profit off of naive patients. The staff is friendly enough and the facility is clean. The two stars are due to the appointment I made when I walked in and explained what I needed, I was told they could help me and a date and time was set for a few days later. I went in, waited, went through the X-rays and exam... after an hour of wasted time I was told they did not offer the service I made my appointment for.... I was not charged but I lost half a day of work just to have to book an appointment elsewhere. read more

This was the worst medical experience I've ever had! My daughter had 4 wisdom teeth removed. The woman who started her IV did not wear gloves. She also did not wash her hands in front of us after opening doors and what not. She prepped her skin with alcohol wipe, then touched my daughters arm again with her gloveless finger. This alone warrants a bad review. The worst part of this is that they put my daughter in my car as soon as she woke up out of anesthesia! There was no monitoring, no making sure she was safe. THIS IS DANGEROUS ON EVERY LEVEL!!!! My daughter could not even walk to the car. She was seeing things that were not there, grabbing at the steering wheel, and sobbing the whole way home. I am disgusted that this company allows this level of neglect. When I asked the woman that walked her to the car (same woman that started IV) about her leaving so soon after waking up she said we just gave her ketamine, it's not a heavy sedative, so we don't have to monitor her. She witnessed that my daughter was reaching for things and seeing that were not there. I am just blown away that they really just don't care at all for her safety on any level. read more

Had visit with x-rays. Saw dentist who told me I had a cracked tooth under bridge and would need to see root canal specialist. Saw specialist 2 days later for approximately 90 seconds, who banged on my teeth with a metal tool to see if anything hurt. He told me I had a crack in a different tooth and would need imaging, because he didn't know if I needed a root canal or not. So, 2 visits, 2 different dentists, $211.00, and nothing done for diagnosing or treatment. The next appointment would cost $3,000.00 plus. read more

Avoid, unless you're interested in take-a-number dentistry. If you have an appointment, you should receive service at that time. We'll be taking our business elsewhere. My girlfriend had what we understood to be an emergency appointment scheduled here today for a cracked tooth. She arrived, called to indicate she had arrived, and was left on hold for ten minutes. She had been told she could complete the paperwork in advance and bring that with her, which she did--the receptionist today told her that was incorrect, and she'd have to fill out the paperwork again digitally. She was then told after completing paperwork it would be a long wait for the first "part" of her appointment, and then an hour and a half wait after that to see a doctor. I have never encountered a "wait" system like this: if you have an appointment, you have an appointment. My girlfriend did not have hours of time to wait before *maybe* getting the service she needed (which is why we made an appointment), and left. When I called the receptionist to inquire if this is how they typically do business, she lied right to me, telling me my girlfriend was 15 minutes late (she was, in fact, on hold waiting for who I imagine was this very same receptionist). The receptionist also said she told my girlfriend appointments like this typically take an hour and a half; *that* is a different thing than a "long wait" followed by another one and a half hours before being able to see a dentist, which is what it sounds like my girlfriend was actually told at the time. Again, avoid, unless you're interested in take-a-number dentistry. If you have an appointment, you should receive service at that time. We'll be taking our business elsewhere. read more

had to have a scaling was told it would be 1400. so i got the carington plan they said the cost would be 138 per 2 visits that comes to 272.00 no problem both times they charged me 333.00 i asked why the girl babbled something well we did a chloride wash and numbed your gums with a cream insurance dosen't cover that then why before i started this why didn't they tell me this it comes down to money i checked they are privately owned stay away i called insurance {carrington} and they said to file a complaint ishould have only paid 272.00 total not 666.00 they are crooks read more

Don't do it! Avoid this place. I had 4 visits and not one bit of dental work done. I paid $400 cash and insurance paid another $700. They got paid and I had zero dental work. Nothing, nada, zip! Now they turned me into collections for another $200 they say I owe! Unbelievable! They are the absolute worst. read more

This place loves to reschedule. I've had them reschedule over five times and one appointment they never scheduled even though I payed in advance for the work. I don't understand why they reschedule so much. I've missed work multiple times because they call at the last second lol. read more

We have no dental insurance unfortunately, and my husband needed a surgical tooth extraction. They quoted him a price & needed the cash up front before they even gave him novacaine. 45 minutes later they sent him out referring us to yet another dentist because their novacaine wasn't working. Even though he paid cash in full, (within an hour!) they refused to give us a refund for today's visit, telling us we had to wait for a check in the mail. Apparently their policy is even if you pay them in cash you can't get your cash back, you have to wait on them to refund a check (?!?) So be aware, if you hand them cash for a service that they then cannot provide, be prepared to wait for your refund. Not cool. read more

I had a molar root canal done here 10 months ago and I found out last week from another dentist it wasn't sitting properly. I went to another dentist because they were much closer and I heard they were pretty good...turns out they weren't. Anyways, I went back to the dentist that did my root canal at Aspen to get things corrected...but not before I called and was told he was no longer at Aspen, and then called back to ask why and found out they made a mistake and he actually was still there...don't know how this happens but it could've costed me dearly so I was frustrated but also relieved. When I got there, the receptionist was nice and was very helpful. She called my insurance company to help me determine what was going to be covered and all that good stuff. I was a little annoyed because I basically told everyone I saw why I was there. The first person I spoke to should've taken notes to pass on or something instead of me wasting my time explaining my issue to everyone when really the dentist was the person I should've told first.. However, it's like this pretty much anywhere you go so I didn't fret about it. So, the reason I will be returning to Aspen regardless of everyone's negative connotation with them in general is as follows. Once I told the dentist the crown wasn't sitting properly (and showed him the xrays I had to prove it) he said he is going to replace it for free, which is really what should happen. It is in no way my fault it wasn't sitting properly causing more work and potentially more money. I was in a tight spot when I had this work done and it costed me thousands out of pocket. I shouldn't have to pay more. I was hesitant to go back to this dentist in the first place because I don't know for sure if he let me go with it sitting wrong or if it happened over time. The xray he provided to me didn't show that so I'm skeptical, which I always am. There is also a smell coming from the tooth, which may have been caused by the crown not sitting properly so he referred me to a specialist to freshen up the tooth, and I was told that he will take on the costs associated with the specialist's work. Again, this is how it should be! So...as of right now, I walked out of there with no money owed to them and I'm getting my crown fixed and tooth cleaned by a specialist. THANK YOU! I'm not at a point in my life right now where I can afford to potentially pay more money for this if I was forced to somehow. read more
