This service was so bad it made me download yelp to leave a review. I went in due to my wisdom teeth growing in. While I was there they informed me that I had eight cavities. I had been to the dentist 6 months prior and had none so I thought this was kind of strange. Not only did they tell me I had eight cavities, but they shamed me for my dental hygiene. They told me that I need to be careful of "letting go" of my dental health and that I need to be better. They told me that genetics have nothing to do with dental health (factually incorrect) and that my EIGHT cavities were a result of my own neglect and I needed to get them filled immediately. And they never even cleaned my teeth before I left. I waited one hour in the waiting room, and one hour in the chair for them to shame me and then another 45 minutes for them to realize the hygienist skipped me, and sent me home. I never saw the hygienist and they never cleaned my teeth. It was ridiculous. I, of course, got a second opinion through a doctor my family trusts at home and I had one cavity the whole time. ONE. All of the shaming was for nothing. And even if I had eight cavities that is horrible behavior towards a patient. Dental care is hard enough. Most don't have the privilege of going every year. To spend an hour shaming me for something non-existent is wild. They are absolute bullies here. I was sobbing in my car after my appointment. I felt ashamed and I felt scared over NOTHING. Don't go here. Don't let them pressure you into getting life-altering operations because it feeds their pockets. I wish I could give this experience zero stars. read more

Horrible expericene . Will not go back. They scheduled my daughter for an appointment she arrived they did not have her down and they took half of the payment. Had to argue with them to get money back. It is sad that they are trying to make money off of college students without performing the work. When I called they wanted to agrue with me that they did not tell her they did not have her on the books when I heard the conversation. They told her she could just sit and wait till they had an opening and it could be up to 4 hours and she had an exam . I am giving this place 3 stars more as a courtesy to the staff because I did find them to be pleasant and professional and also compassionate. However, I strongly urge NEW patients to get a second opinion if they quote you a care plan that is exorbitant as what happened to me. I had gotten my molars removed as I knew years prior I would likely need to eventually. That was a good experience and I was hoping I could then schedule my appointments for cleaning which I desperately needed. They quoted me a care plan that was well over $6,000 and listed off these "special" cleaning procedures I needed to be done since it had been a few years since I had a routine check-up due to no insurance. They would not do any preventative care until I had these special procedures done. I then got an infection with one of my teeth and was told immediately that it had to be extracted and then replaced it would be close to $3,000. Basically, all in all, I was looking at $10,000 for all of this dental work. Yes, they do offer payment plans, but something seemed sketchy when they refused the routine cleaning until I paid these outrageous fees on special services and dental work that I am not all too certain that I needed in the first place. Thankfully, I did get a 2nd opinion and found that my tooth could be saved and not extracted, and the preventative cleaning was done with no mention of having a special cleaning procedure with costs in the 1000s. My quoted prices was 1/4 of what aspen quoted me and they were able to schedule my visits within weeks of eachother instead of months. In summary-get a 2nd opinion. I really hope the emotional state and pain I was in with my first visit did not signal to management that I would hence pay anything to not be in pain anymore (just from one of my molars) and would take whatever care plan they gave me without questionning it. We are all struggling financially and even with insurance the out of pocket expense with dental care is costly. To be quoted the maximum anount for the most extreme services that turned out to be not even needed and using fear tactics have me wary but also eager to warn other patients of their business practices. Like I said, I really do not want to believe this was their intention, but at the end of the day they are a business. I am just glad I found a more reasonable provider with affordable care who actually is trying to save my tooth instead of right off the bat say it needs to be extracted and $3,000 to replace. I came here less than two years ago and got a crown on one of my teeth. I thought everything was fine until recently when going to a new dentist where they found that they had to redo the entire crown. Not only was it not placed correctly leaving gaps that could easily cause infection but they found cotton left in my tooth! This was an almost $1000 expense I had to pay out of pocket because insurance wouldn't cover it if it was originally placed less than 5 years ago. I also had to have a filling then did redone because they didn't fill it correctly and it turned into a painful food trap. Would not recommend this place. Find a dentist that actually cares about it's patients and will take the time to do things correctly. read more

I was so very impressed with every single person at the Aspen Dental in Bowling Green, Ohio! A person always hopes for a fast, efficient and pain free experience and I found that here. The front desk was friendly and very helpful My cleaning with Jessie was pain free and it was my first time ever experiencing that! The dentists there were all wonderful, caring and good at what they do! Erica who handles the financing worked with me and my situation and made things happen to make my Christmas merrier! I thank each professional for their expertise and manner and would highly recommend this dental office! My daughter was scared of the dentist when we came in and the dentist's assistant was the first person we saw...... she was friendly and funny and made her feel comfortable while prepping her for the dentist to see her...The dentist came in and he was very sweet and smiley and knowledgeable he made her both feel comfortable with the process. After looking at her mouth We met a lady in the office and she was great she was funny and so kind and patient with us also and set up her next appointment and answered all the questions I had and welcomed us to aspen dental.
