I thought I had cracked a tooth and was given a same day appointment. All of the staff were very kind and friendly from the front desk, the dental assistants. The hygienist, the dentist and the office manager. I was in control of my treatment plan. There was no high pressure to have bridges made for my my missing molars, as I had read online. They were offered, I declined, end of story. I return today to start treatment for periodontal disease and bone loss. Less than 24 hours after my initial exam. Yes...treatment is expensive but that's life these days. Medical care is expensive....it's not the staff's fault people have bad or no dental insurance. People really need to stop taking it out on staff. At the end of the day....they are a business, not a charity. I cannot say I am looking forward to today....I'm very squeamish about dental procedures but I do feel mentally prepared for what lay ahead due to the extensive explanation of care I was given. read more

not off to a good start but my dentures are not top quality because the teeth keep falling out. I did talk to them this morning after the second time of dealing with a tooth popping off my denture and they are not charging me for repairs. I will say good because the lady I phone was nice this time. Update-they didn't fix it and said I should have had called and made appt with dentist for fitting after-also said I should have called and asked for felines . I can't get seen until September 8th and until then I'm screwed.Nobody ever mentioned any of this to me so now I suffer. I do not recommend getting dentures here-it's too much of a hassle! read more

Don't go here under any circumstances. This business is all about money over patient care. They will deny you care/follow up pending insurance payment even if you are in pain. They will demand payment up front and will refuse you treatment or even see you if the insurance hasn't paid yet, even if the insurance approved the procedure. Why do you advertise that your going to help people in a dental emergency, when you do not!!! I am IN PAIN!!! And now Furious today, because of your Canton office front desk receptionist with the nose ring. She made every excuse in the book why I should not be seen today!! When I first called she told me there were no appointments until after the first of the year. The. I went online to schedule an appointment and was surprised to see there was a 9:30 am appointment available at the same location!?!? When I arrived she told me all they would do today was to do a full series of X-rays and discuss a treatment plan, not do anything to help my pain. She said d have to schedule that after the first of the year and I'd be better off to wait and go to my regular dentist where I could be seen 1/5/26. I assumed I'd be able to at least get antibiotics to help with infection and lower pain between now and then. But then she said m MetLife policy told her my visit wouldn't be covered today and my full mouth X-rays also wouldn't be covered!!??? Getting more outraged as I heard her make excuse after excuse I decided to go to my car and call MetLife to verify this information. When I spoke to the MetLife representative she told me I am entitled to have today's visit paid for and also they will pay for a full mouth series of X-rays every 6 months!!! Outraged at the discrepancy I marched back inside with the MetLife rep on speaker phone. She told your employee the same thing she just told me and then she asked for the code of the X-rays which was apparently different than just a full mouth Series of X-rays, but apparently those aren't good enough and your employee said I'd have to have a different type of X-ray that wasn't covered but ever 60 months. So AGAIN she had another EXCUSE!!! All this was a huge waste of time and increased my horrible day!!! Now instead of just pain I had a huge amount of aggravation to add to it!!! This place is worthless. My daughter appointment was cancelled 2 times. No one called. And the front desk is HORRIBLE! and RUDE!!!!

First of all, it really pains me to give a poor review. I really do try to resolve everything privately before airing my dissatisfaction. And as a disclaimer, I will say the dentist and the hygienist are very nice. Even the office staff is nice here. But this corporate dental mentality and the billing practices are flat out poor, and not deserving of any praise. I first came here last March. I don't like that you come here for x-rays and they won't do the cleaning on the same date. That is just a waste of time and a scheme to make more money. Only corporate dental chains do this. When I did come back, I also had to have some sort of scaling/root planning (which of course did cost more money than I wanted or needed to spend) and two cavities filled (no argument there- I understand that part). The charge was incredibly high, but I still made the payment. They also ripped me off by charging 20 bucks for fluoride, which I really don't think does much. All paid up on the date of my visits, but I continue to get bills from this place every single month. SO I called them every single month. And they said they would fix it every single month. You know when they finally fixed it? September. Yeah. Ridiculous. I was tired of calling. RELUCTANTLY, after receiving multiple texts (and finally unsubscribing), I agreed to go back for a second cleaning, since my insurance covers two per year. After all, they can't really mess up the billing for something 100% covered, can they? Oh yes they can. So I went in for my appointment, checked in, and they tried to bill me $175. WTF. I asked them to please check on this. They agreed that my insurance covers two per year, but they insisted I already had two cleanings this year (absolutely not true), and told me I'd have to speak to my insurance. I left with no cleaning, and with my tail between my legs. So I got on the horn with my insurance. Aspen Dental billed me for two cleanings, a week apart in March, and coded it wrong with the insurance company. Who the heck has two back-to-back cleanings? Insurance confirmed that it was Aspen's error for billing it that way, and they would need to fix it. Not a chance. I am not going through the hoops, after waiting six months for them to fix their last error, to get them to fix this error. I don't have the energy. I will just have dirty teeth, and wait til next year when I can choose a brand new local dentist. read more

In all my years of going to new dentist, I have never not been able to get a cleaning on my first visit. My husband and I have moved many times due to military and have always gotten my teeth cleaned on our first visit and we regularly get cleanings every 6 months. I needed to get my teeth cleaned before I had my back surgery due to reclining in chairs. I was not aware that it was just a consult with X-rays. It was my surprise that they were not going to clean my teeth and yet I was there for one and a half hours. At the end of my visit, I was told that I needed to have periodontal care and would have to come back 3 times a year. The estimate with insurance was over $1000.00. I was very mad at the end because now I had to wait til after my surgery to have my teeth cleaned. So grateful that I waited. I went to another dentist and was told that I had no periodontal issues and cleaned my teeth on the FIRST visit. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! read more

Honestly after reading a lot of these older reviews, they aren't far from the truth. The team there is solid. They are helpful, friendly and nice over all. But the service is less than adequate. They did do X-rays for me one day then have me come back another day for the cleaning. Every time they finished they just let you figure your own way out. They are slightly unorganized and aren't familiar with their equipment such as their clear aligners and how to get the pictures needed to build the trays. I had two other people watching as one lady did them. I was slightly uncomfortable but didn't want to make a big issue out of it. Although I shouldn't have had to as that should have been asked before hand if it was ok with having others train and watch or not. To wrap this all up I think we are all expecting a dental practice that has been around for 50 years and is family owned. So forth. But Aspen is not that. They target convenience, and bottom line meaning get people in and out. Tighter staffing which forces their staff to multitask on multiple patients at the same time. I think if you have more advance dental work needed I wouldn't go here. But for the basic things I find Aspen my go to. read more

Absolutely terrible! My son was seen last October and he is covered under my dental insurance. It was a routine visit. For 7 months I have been back and forth on the phone trying to get them to submit a claim to my insurance. I spoke to my insurance today and they made yet another attempt to contact the office to assist them in handling the claim. They sent the bill to collections. They have REFUSED to bill my insurance. We will never use their services again and I will tell everyone I know my experience with this company. I am also going to call them every day until this is resolved. I really don't think Aspen even deserves any stars. I had a partial made for a front tooth. It took 3 turns to make and my front took bucks out and the tooth covers my gum. I tried to get my money back but of course NOT. They only want your money. I hate to smile or talk closely to anyone because my entire smile is different. And to make matters worse. I don't have dental insurance so I paid $1300 to look like Austin Powers. Shame on you Aspen Dental. You don't know what customer service/satisfaction is at all. read more

This place is hands down the best Aspen Dental anywhere! Courtney the Dental Hygienist is the best ever!! No one wants to go to the dentists, but I had such an amazing visit! I was having issues and this was a last minute appointment. They got me in right away, and everyone from the time I walked into the door was so nice and professional. Courtney is a miracle worker and spent a good hour deep cleaning my teeth, and fixed the problem area that I was having. She went out of her way and spent extra time, and explained everything to me. She loves her job and she passes it along to you as a customer!! Not only did I feel instant relief from pain, my teeth have not looked this good in 20 years. DONT GO TO THIS PLACE! I wouldn't even take my dog here. Absolute worse customer service and staff. I went in as a new patient for a exam and xrays to get my wisdom teeth out and they were awful! I've had a lot of dental work done and this was by far the worst experience I have had. They left me in the chair for twenty minutes waiting for the dentist before I went out and said something. All they cared about was money. They don't care about your well being at all. I have read reviews that they have sent a bill even though it was a free exam and xrays, so we will see. I don't know how people can run a business that is so bad. They need to be shut down. read more

I was told that I had five cavities. This has never happened to me before and I take great care of my teeth so I decided to get a second opinion. This is my first dentist I went to living on my own. I moved out and decided to pick my own dentist. These people were terrible. No one introduced themselves to me, and no one said hello except the woman that called me back. I have no idea which dentist saw me. I was only there to have my molar looked at and he acted offended I didnt want a cleaning. I was told x-rays are covered with the vivid dental plan for $95, so the lady told me to do 4 bite wing x-rays and the around the head x-ray. They tried to charge me $76 on top of the $95 saying that vivid plan only covers the bite wings and no one told me. They didnt charge me after I argued with them, but they told me they won't send my bite wing x-rays to another dentist until I pay to have a cleaning with them. I had a denture repair done today at the Belden Village location. I couldn't be happier. Staff was pleasant and he!pful. Service was pleasant and efficient. I had a tooth replaced. It looks perfect. I joined yelp just to write a review for this place. I wish I would've checked this site before going there. Like one other said.. The first appointment they don't even do a cleaning. I got two "small" cavities filled there yesterday. I've had 2 cavities filled in the past both over the span of 10 years. They tried to tell me I have 5 small cavities which I'm getting a second opinion on the 3 I'm not letting them do. It was the most painful thing I've ever experienced and I just have birth to my son so that's saying something. The dentist numbed me five different times and I still felt when he drilled the root. Taking the care out of patient care! 1st time to a new dentist as my other one had passed away. Scheduled an appointment and was charmed by the staff on the telephone of how great everything was there. Showed up early to do paperwork.....then waited....and waited.....and waited.....and waited. Finally left and told them that if I was important to them enough that the doctor could call me to tell me he was ready to see me. They didn't even blink an eye and just said goodbye. Would not recommend nor would I ever consider going back to this place. So much for the value of my time or even a "the doctor is running behind" from somebody. The staff took lunch breaks while I observed another Dentist standing around in the back doing nothing. It has been way to long since I've been to the dentist but I was treated very well here. Everyone was professional and I felt very comfortable. The staff is exceptional and very friendly. The only negative I can say is that I showed up 15 minutes before my appointment and I didn't get called back until 30 minutes after my scheduled time. Don't go to this dentist office, they are terrible! They gave me a crown that fell off in the same year. I had two appointments that left me in the waiting room for over an hour. I went to a new dentist, and the crown fell off and was almost broken in half. The tooth has not been ground down enough to seat it properly. It was also an old and inferior type of crown. My new dentist replaced it, and as this had all happened within 3 years, insurance would not cover it. Aspen Dental said for them to reimburse me they would have had to redo the crown. So my choice was to get another bad crown from them? I lost 1,000.00 in all of this. read more

I was very impressed with the service, the personnel were great (professional, friendly, knowledgeable. They took a ton of xrays which surely would have cost me a fortune. Going back for cleaning, we'll see how that goes. The facility was beautiful: clean, TVs while in the chair. Staff was nice and service was okay. I went in for an issue I was having with a tooth extraction and the dentist wasn't even going to look in my mouth until I insisted. The dental assistant was running back and forth from my room to the dentist passing messages back and forth and I had to actually tell her to tell the dentist I needed her to look at the extraction site before I would leave. Once the dentist came in she seemed very nice but was in and out in two minutes tops. The staff at the front desk was very nice and so was the dental assistant. This place is a torture chamber!! I can't believe how I was treated here! I have very hard teeth, and I take good care of them. I always have great reports at the dentist. When my insurance offered a discount dental & optical card, I checked out local providers, and a cleaning at Aspen Dental was advertised as $31. When I got there, they did do the first exam and x-rays for free, BUT also recommended over $500 worth of services!! (special tooth brush, cancer screening, special "flushing" of the gums, etc.) They were very pushy about the absolute necessity of using fluoride treatments (which I am opposed to because they are toxic). I bought the toothbrush, which I love, and I scheduled a cleaning for a later date. When I came for my $31 cleaning, they wanted $175!! The $31 was for polishing only!! No cleaning (scraping) between teeth is included! Their scraping also has the ultrasonic gum flushing water sprayer attached to it so it all has to be done at the same time, which is about $14 per quadrant of your mouth; totaling $64 on top of the polishing of $31. They also wanted to do cancer screening for around $60. I'm surprised they didn't charge me for flossing!!! Well, back to the torture chamber comment - I still did not want the fluoride or the cancer screening, so maybe she was mad about that. I have NEVER had such a painful cleaning in my life!! She made no attempt to avoid causing me distress - poking, scraping, tearing my gums!!! (there were pieces of gum on the neck paper when I was done!!) The ultrasonic gum scraper had a very high pitch squeal, and it seriously sounded and felt like there was drilling going on!!! This was 5 days ago and my gums are still painful when I brush my teeth!! Get yourself the top of the line Oral B, and save yourself the other costs and pain of this place!!!! read more
