Went in for check up waited 2 hours for them to tell me they would call me tomorrow to try to set something up

Beware I had just relocated to the Columbus, MS area and was told by many to visit any dentist office for service, but NOT Aspen Dental. I wish I had taken their advice. I wanted to go by my experience and not word of mouth, I should have listened. Aspen Dental took as many X-rays my insurance would pay. I was seen by Dr. Moore for the initial exam. After all of that, between visits my crown fell off one implant. I called my new dentist office to have it cemented on and was told by the receptionist that she was to tell me "return to the dentist that initially placed the implant" This is not the message you want to receive when you are in need of service. The implant was done in another State lapproximately 15+ years ago. I went to my next appointment not for service, but to pick up all of the X-rays, 3D films, dental records, etc. sent to Aspen Dental from my previous dentist. I am happy I was made aware of the inexperience that dentist had on modern up to date procedure. Implants are the future and you need a dentist with that experience and training. I would not recommend Aspen Dental to anyone who cares about their dental hygiene. I even requested a call from the dentist to discuss possible treatment and noone from that office returned my call. Aspen Dental is all about Taking money and not about Taking care of their patient needs. This was my experience, so beware. read more

They were wonderful. I walked in with one of the worst tooth pain I every have had. The front deck was more the wonderful and explained to me that everyone just went to lunch and they would get get me back as soon as they returned. Once Dr David got back from lunch, he personally got me to the back. Took X-rays and we determined the proper course of action. The Dental assistant was very kind and helpful too. Friday at 11:50 my child started crying due to his tooth hurting. I called every dentist in Columbus, everyone was closing up. We showed up at Aspen. The door was locked, but Christina came to the door and she could see how much pain my 12 year old was in. She and the other ladies in the office had already cleaned and shut down everything but they talked to Dr. David Moore and he said bring him back. He was great and took such good care of our son. They stayed out of the kindness of their hearts. We offered to buy them lunch but they wouldn't accept. Everyone in the office is new. They have started over and have a great staff. I went in to the Columbus location today to just to set up an appointment. There were two people at the desk. I told her I wanted to ensure that my Insurances were accepted. They are on my list of approved providers. I was told to " take a seat" and she would be with me in a moment. I thought she was on a business call which seemed to be ongoing. The other person got up ( i thought she was coming to wait on me) took a file out of the cabinet ( never acknowledging my presence) and sat down. There was no one else there ( now I know why). I heard a snippet of the conversation ( how is .....doing?) and realized she was making me wait for a personal conversation. She was so oblivious to my presence that she did not see me leave. I understand the negative reviews. I will find another provider who values people and their time. The commercials need to reflect the true nature of the business read more

It looks like all the reviews of Aspen Dental are terrible. I wish I had looked at the reviews earlier. I went to to the location in Tupelo yesterday. Apparently they don't have modern x-ray equipment. I went through excruciating pain with the procedure they used. The technician told me the dentist would put me on a plan. I hadn't even talked to the dentist yet. This sounded strange to me. It sounded like they they tell every customer that they have some kind of severe dental problem. I have dental insurance . I have had 6 month dental checkups for years. The dental hygienist told me that I have periodontal disease. It seems strange that I've never been told that before. The last dentist I went to said I have beautiful teeth. It costs a lot more money to have a periodontal cleaning than a normal cleaning. I am getting another opinion from another dentist. I couldn't get out of that place fast enough. I personally think they have a racket going. They do free examinations and then charge customers tremendous fees for services they don't need. read more

Horrible customer service!! Had a dental emergency. Called direct line on a Thursday afternoon. I was given a Saturday appointment. I specifically asked if this repair would be done on that day and was told yes. Arrived for appointment only to be told by the receptionist that "no this would not be done today as the tech doesn't work on Saturday!" Complete waste of my time. I lost a days pay and now have to waste another. If this was my business Id fire the lot of them. Not one of those people had an once of compassion, they were going thru the motions and thst was it. read more
