Absolute horrible experience. They were a last ditch effort to have teeth extracted on my 12 year old. (That insurance would cover)The teeth to be extracted were to be discussed between the orthodontist and the oral surgeon. We arrived for our consult on time and waited over an hour to be seen. The dentist who saw us was not the one performing the surgery. I was never informed which teeth they were wanting to remove. The day before the appointment I came in with the consent paperwork and said I'm not consenting to anything until I am provided with more information (which teeth, what type of anesthesia). Info provided, paperwork submitted. Day of the appointment (last appointment of the day). We were whisked back to a cluttered operatory room to talk with the oral surgeon, his demeanor was rushed and uninterested. Did not make my child feel at ease. Surgery is performed, my daughter is rushed to stand up and walk to xray (mind you she is extremely groggy, can't hold her eyes open and can hardly stand) there was no empathy or assistance to get her up and to xray. The doctor was rude , it was Dr. Reza Hadioonzedah. Aftercare instructions were poor, we were handed 4x4 gauze in a sterile package that had not been ran through the sterilizer (there are indicators on the package), no syringe to clean out sockets. The front of the dental office was clean and uncluttered, the back where the operators are located was not. There were supplies stacked in the hallway, blocking means of egress. I wonder if JACHO does outlying dental clinic inspections like they do with medical clinics. I'm sure this place would fail. I worked in dental for 20 years and have high standards for care. I would not return here nor would I recommend care here. In fact, I tell people to not come to Aspen. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. I just needed a denture repair on one tooth. When you google emergency denture repair, Aspen Dental is the first to pop up. When I called they said I must have an exam first before they do a repair. I didn't need an exam. I have already had one this year and my insurance would not cover another one. They said it was the new doctor's policy. So I called corporate because it does not state that you must have an exam to be able to get a repair. So corporate called them with me on the line to help me get a repair scheduled. They said that I would have to come in for an exam and that's when the lady from corporate said she does not need an exam she needs a repair. So they said I would have to come in for a consult so they could check out my issue and see if it could be fixed. I was very happy with that. Well I went to my appointment and they refused to see me unless I had an exam done and pay out of pocket for it , which was $90. They wasted my whole day off of when I could have just went somewhere else. They do whatever they can just to make sure they can get more money from you. It's ridiculous. I went to Affordable Denture's and they immediately let me come back and check out my denture and will have it fixed for me in 2 hours. Aspen Dental should NOT be able to advertise something that they refuse to do. I will be sharing my story on every review I can possibly find to try and help someone else out. Go to Affordable Denture's because they have friendly quick service, and they actually cared about my situation. I hate to say it but they are truly worthless. I had to pay over $2,700 out of pocket and my insurance got the rest. Within the first couple of months I have already sent them back because they broke and I've had numerous fittings. The teeth broke out again over a week ago but I am too wore out to go get them fixed. My brother got dentures there and never went back and he did not wear them. My mother had dental work and she regretted it every day since over 2 years ago. Do not go please because you will be disappointed. read more

Made an appointment for 2:00, arrived at Aspen at 1:40 did the paperwork and sat to wait. 2:00 rolls around and everyone that was in front of me gets taking back, so far so good. then 2:10 nothing, then 2:15 nothing, then 2:20 four more people walk in, three get checked in (one did not have an appointment). 2:35 and they are calling the 2:30 back without so much as a word to me. So I ask at what point am I going in seeing how you are now taking 2:30 before the 2:00. so she said you can reschedule we have a lot of staff that couldn't make it in today. Appalling customer service. as if I would ever reschedule with this company. My time is clearly not important so much for the appointment taking an hour, they have already wasted one hour and 45 minutes of my time, when you take the trip in the trip out and the 30 minutes holding down a chair for them. This company needs some serious training in customer service and human decency. read more

Aspen dental in Elizabethtown operates this business poorly. They offer 3 styles of dentures. The first and cheapest style is called the Basic denture. The next style is called the Classic denture. A step up in quality and price from the basic denture. The third is their top of the line denture called the comfylite denture. Needless to say it is triple the price of the Basic denture. Here's where they start their questionable services. If you have dental insurance, they will bill the insurance for the basic denture then charge you the diffrence between the basic and the comfylite out of your own pocket. So they end up getting paid for the basic denture that they dont give you, plus the $3,000 you paid for the upgrade to the comfylite that you paid out of your pocket. If you catch on to their fraud and question it, they dismiss you as a patient citing the relationship between you and them isnt a good fit. Lol how fitting. They also text you after a visit asking you to tell them how your visit went so that they can address any concerns. But if you dont want to be dismissed from their practice, Dont Fall for it! If you report a problem with one of the billing staff, they dismiss you from their care which is known as retaliation and illegal to boot. So if you don't have opinions or if you will except what you are given no matter if they fit or not and don't question the amount of money they are charging you, this is the joint for you. Oh! And they have their own finance company that only finances Aspen Dental patients. Imagine That Interest rate if you can. This is without a doubt, a dental puppy mill that gives not one hoot about you or your well being. read more

Thieves and gangsters, total bait and switch. Now the staff are friendly so just know that. What is not right is how I was told what great insurance I have and what the insurance was going to pay and what my cost was so I asked"Can I pay my part now?" and was told yes, so I did, then my 3rd return visit, because they explained that for my insurance I had to do it in stages, I was hit with a 500 plus dollar bill. I said wait a minute, I paid my part. I was then told that I was given only an estimate, (I was not), I have a business and I listen real well when it comes to money and cost, so now they are trying to bill me for services NOT rendered and I have a jacked up mouth I have to get someone else to fix. I called my insurance to report the fraud and am contacting the BBB and anyone else I need to get the message out about this very unethical business, stay away! read more

First off, I want to say the hygienist I saw at Aspen Dental was awesome. I really liked her. It is just the rest of the staff that has gone downhill. I haven't even seen the same dentist twice in the last several years. The last few visits have been very trying. My husband is a stroke patient since May 2017, and it is important that my appointments are not changed as I have to pay someone to watch him when I have appointments. In June of 2019, I came to my appointment time and was told I was not scheduled for an appointment but the appointment card they provided me from the previous appointment showed I did have the right appointment date and time. I was then told the appointment was canceled because I did not respond to their telephone response call or the email sent, which I had not received either. The hygienist did verify there was a glitch in their computer system and said I was not notified. She was very apologetic. Anyway I still had to wait for an hour and a half before I could get in. I told them this was costing me more money due to having to pay someone to watch my husband. My next appointment was scheduled early part of December. The morning of my appointment Aspen dental called and said they had to cancel my appointment due to the hygienist having the flu. I already scheduled for someone to watch my husband which I did not cancel the service because I decided to just use the time and just because I was canceled on at the last minute,I didn't want to cancel on someone else at the last minute. They were not able to reschedule my appointment until around the first week of January 2020, almost a month later. The day of my appointment, as always I pay for the day's visit with my debit card which they take and process through. Well on January 28, 2020, I received a call from Aspen Dental that I have a balance due of 80 cents. At that point, I was livid because it was someone in that office that obviously made the mistake in the amount. I then decided I had it with them, as I have been under a lot of stress for two and half years and I did not need to continue with the additional stress I was having to deal with their incompetence. I got on the phone and started calling other dentists to see who would take the insurance plan I had, found one, and they were able to get me an appointment on July 8, 2020, the same day as I was scheduled for my next appointment at Aspen. I then went to Aspen paid them their 80 cents and told them to cancel my appointment with them on July 8, 2020 and to remove me from their computer as I am done with them. read more

If you advertise hours of operation are 8-8 then someone should be there 8-8, now realizing that things do come up you should at the least put a notice on the door explaining why you're closed. Tried to call ,during the early afternoon hours,got recording,actually had the automated system call us back ,with the same automated recording. Decided to stop by office on way to work(6:25 pm),sign on door said 8am-8pm. Lights off,door locked up tight,no notice on door saying why.... If you advertise certain hours ,HONOR THEM,other wise take hours of operation off doors,and work when you want...oh wait you already did..only reason stopped by after a not so great first experience was due to fact that file was already begun,x-rays had already been taken and was presumed that would have been a step up from new pt status......will seek treatment else where and make it life's mission to make sure no one graces this establishment again..... read more

I had a tooth abscess and was quite painful. I don't drive so I needed a later appointment so my husband could take me without missing work. They got me in the same day with an evening appointment. The tooth was extracted that night with minimal distress. My only reserve was they seemed to promote dentures rather than options to preserve the remainder of my teeth. I will say they offer options for dentures but I'm not quite there yet. Very friendly! read more

If you don't have much to do but sit and wait a couple hours, then this is the place to go. Once you get seen, its not a bad place but I've been there several times and waited in the office many hours just to receive comments like "sorry but we only have one doctor on staff today". I don't like to have my time wasted and overscheduling seems like their favorite thing. read more
