I have been going to Dr Hammer for years and first started with him when his practice opened in Radcliff. The entire staff do a wonderful job taking care of patients. Unfortunately they are closed on Wed afternoons and Fridays which can sometimes cause a delay in getting in although he does accommodate emergency dental situations at any time. They accept a lot of major insurance programs. I often joke with Dr Hammer that he is the only painless dentist I have ever been to. If you are looking for a good dentist I recommend either Drs Hammer or Van Zant.

My wife went…read morein for a routine cleaning, and instead the hygienist told her that she needed a $2800 'deep cleaning' due to mild periodontal disease. She also told my wife unless she agreed to that, that she could no longer be a patient there. The Dr. (Vong) just passively did nothing (though apparently he noted 'agree with plan' in the notes, which probably avoids there being a dental board complaint since clearly the hygienist is practicing outside her scope). After an initial complaint they so kindly agreed to waive the co-pay (which should have included a cleaning). They still submitted the rest of the visit for insurance coverage. They tried to walk it back and say she could go back for a cleaning, but I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this place. We disputed with our insurance, but it seems nothing happened there. Now we will be on the hook for what should be a covered service, since you can't just go to another office and get a cleaning only without exam, etc. (especially as a new patient). This is a corporate office meant to make a profit for the owners, they have no interest in taking care of patients. They can reply all they want, this review is staying up as a warning.

(That insurance would cover)The teeth to be extracted were to be discussed between the orthodontist and the oral surgeon. We arrived for our consult on time and waited over an hour to be seen. The dentist who saw us was not the one performing the surgery. I was never informed which teeth they were wanting to remove. The day before the appointment I came in with the consent paperwork and said I'm not consenting to anything until I am provided with more information (which teeth, what type of anesthesia). Info provided, paperwork submitted. Day of the appointment (last appointment of the day). We were whisked back to a cluttered operatory room to talk with the oral surgeon, his demeanor was rushed and uninterested. Did not make my child feel at ease. Surgery is performed, my daughter is rushed to stand up and walk to xray (mind you she is extremely groggy, can't hold her eyes open and can hardly stand) there was no empathy or assistance to get her up and to xray. The doctor was rude , it was Dr. Reza Hadioonzedah. Aftercare instructions were poor, we were handed 4x4 gauze in a sterile package that had not been ran through the sterilizer (there are indicators on the package), no syringe to clean out sockets. The front of the dental office was clean and uncluttered, the back where the operators are located was not. There were supplies stacked in the hallway, blocking means of egress. I wonder if JACHO does outlying dental clinic inspections like they do with medical clinics. I'm sure this place would fail. I worked in dental for 20 years and have high standards for care. I would not return here nor would I recommend care here. In fact, I tell people to not come to Aspen.

I went to my consult today and he did not even look inside my mouth. He glanced at the panoramic x-ray and proceeded to tell me he was "a retired colonel in the Army, and my returning overseas with wisdom teeth is unacceptable" because I should follow the same standards as active duty military. I stated I just returned from overseas work, and am going back with another civilian company, and that my dentist in Florida agreed that removing my wisdom teeth was unnecessary because they are causing me no problems or pain. He then proceeded to stare rudely at me and asked if my dentist had a license to practice. He was extremely rude and left the office when I said it was uncalled for him to ask me if my dentist had a license. My company has added his office to a blacklist, and I will not be back. I am now having to pay out of pocket for a dentist here in town. I have never had such a poor experience in any office. This man is a menace to society and should not be practicing dentistry.

They did minimal and I was still in excruciating pain. A coworker recommended me to Durbin Dental. They fit me right in and Dr. Durbin took care of the tooth and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. His assistant was phenomenal and reassuring, as I have high anxiety, and made me feel in good hands. The support staff was exceptional and the facility was elite. The dentist came in, inspected my teeth, and explained everything in detail. Nothing serious was found. The dental hygienist, Tasha, was incredible. Polite, friendly and professional. I would highly recommend having Tasha clean your teeth. Tasha performed her work efficiently and quickly. I was done before I knew it. Harvey and Nichols Family Dentistry is the only dentist's office I will use, and I want Tasha to take care of my cleaning.

Touch screen self check in and off to brush your teeth. Waiting room is spacious and comfy chairs. There is a working television and reading materials. The offices have been updated. They aren't only focusing on teeth but updated technology to help with treatment. Seriously upgrades since my braces days. They an open office setting in the back, like a circle of chairs and the desk in the middle. (Same set up as the past too) but of course updated chairs and equipment. It's awesome too see some familiar faces from days and knowing my kid is in great hands, definitely takes the stress off. Scheduling future appointments is a breeze and they give you your note on the same page with off the info. The treatment plans are laid out in front of you and all the expectations they have for treatment and that we need to except of treatment. Financials were spelled out to me clearly and the expectations for that as well. So far everyone at Iman and Baldwin has made the beginning process for my son's treatment a breeze and my kid is already on the know for the check in process. I'll take pictures next visit.
