I needed a crown put on my root canal and was looking around for prices and aspen dental was the best priced high rated dentist to go to In my area. As soon as I got there they did a bunch of very thorough tests to a see what they were working with. Much more testing than my old dentist did. Next visit they size me for my crown and gave me a temporary. The dental assistant during the crowning was pretty rough with her suction and kept accidentally stabbing me into my mouth and suctioning my lip lol. Only reason I rate them a 4. Been a few months now and my tooth and crown are doing good. They were all very very nice and talkative. read more

I had 6 fillings done over the period of 6 months. 4 have already had to be replaced. Over the weekend, another fell out. Current dentist finds no reason that they should be falling out. Very disappointing to have to go thru the process of having the work done again. It has only been 18 months since I stopped going to Aspen. read more

Went it to get work done went over the price with the insurance person got an estimate went home and thought about it. Went back in told the receptionist to go ahead and we put it on my credit card. Was told at the point I paid that the amount I was paying would be the only thing I would have to pay I was told that EVERYTHING was covered, it was not an estimate this was the amount I was told. Today I go in and they want an additional 700.00 I would have paid until the insurance lady got snippy with me when I asked for an explanation of why they wanted more money. I went for top dentures bc my first set had gotten damaged, so of course I'm not gonna walk around with no teeth so I went to Aspen dental since they were close to my home. Biggest mistake I could've made. They have never fit properly, I have to wear denture adhesive everyday. They told me to come back and they would line them. So I did. Still didn't help at all with the fit. I still have trouble to this day. So I'm looking for someone else to do them this time bc I've lost all trust in Aspen dental since that was my first and only time going there and I'll never go back. I also was paying out of pocket for them bc my time wasn't up yet for a new pair to be made for my insurance to pay for it. So I was on a payment plan. Do you know how horrible it is to have dentures that don't fit properly and you have to make the payments. . These people do not take the time to make sure they're doing a good job. I wouldn't send my dog to this place for even an extraction, they're horrible, rude and seem like they're just trying to get you out of the office. Horribly experience! They told me months ago that I needed to spend over 40,000 on dentures. I wanted dentures and not implants. I don't understand why they insist that customers need to get the most expensive treatment when most people can never afford to pay 40,000. I just wanted simple dentures. The other dentists are a lot more affordable and give cheaper options instead of the most expensive options. They won't give you any options that you can afford. Periodontal cleaning scheduled Staff member stated it would be 1300. And insurance paid 362. I asked why is charge was not less as insurance pays 80 percent. Was informed that all insurance would pay. Refused appt. Contact insurance informed they pay 80 percent. Went back into office and explained coverage. Requested office to call insurance. They stated they do not have to. I said im paying cash so please call. They refused stating insurance would only pay 362. Now 80 percent of 1300. Is 1040 leaving balance of 360. Concerned this is a rip off as they can collect my cash of 1300. Then bill insurance and recieve the 80 percent. Staff is rude and incompetent. Do not go here. This morning being Monday I went in there and they told me that because I tried to repair my broken denture due to their inability to fix them on Friday that I had voided my warranty. What the hell does that matter they were still broken and I used a denture repair kit to try to get through the Father's Day weekend. So now they want over $2000 to do just my lower denture. I went to this place thinking I would get good price and services. I can't get pass the office manager, he didn't want to honor the coupon for 25 percent off he only wanted to give me 20 percent. I went back for my second visit and was told I had to pay over a 1,000 dollars for a service for which I had not signed a contract for. I thought I was going to be able to discuss it with Ryan the office manager first. He said that he thought I had agreed on a service for me. We only discussed it on the first visit but I wasn't sure if it was what I wanted. I'm disappointed with Ryan and I didn't like the action of him. This is a horrible place that just rips you off and tries to get you to spend money that you don't need to spend. They never went over my dental plan with me in person. I told them that I couldn't hear what they said over the phone. They said don't worry we will go over it with you when you come in for your first cleaning. They scheduled me for a routine cleansing without surgery. When I came in I was told that I would have to pay over 2000 for my cleaning because it was a periodontal cleaning. But no one over told me that I had periodontal disease and that a cleaning would cost so much. 2000 seems too much for a cleaning and I wasn't told about the high price so I left. I wasted my time and I left work for no reason today. I mad an appointment for a different dentist to go to instead. read more

Everyone here is so amazing, they are some of the most considerate and kind people I've meant in a long time. I can promise to anyone who visits here for any purpose they'll have an upstanding experience, I have really bad anxiety which includes dental anxiety. Showed up early for my appointment and was told they had given it away. Office staff was rude and tried to blame me for it saying they had not received a confirmation. I said I made the appointment myself, so how much more of a confirmation did they expect? If they were going to call to confirm without telling me to expect it, then how on earth is it my fault they gave the appointment away? I lost my purse which had my dentures in it. Having a huge 50th bday party in 4 days. Not only did the staff get me in the office in less than 24 hours. They were able to complete a set of dentures top and bottom in less than 3 days. The entire staff work together like a well oiled machine! Phenomenal team of professionals! Let me start off with, I don't normally give bad reviews... I realize they hurt companies. BUT in this case I make an exception based on the fact that a person giving quotes couldn't admit he did something wrong, and instead called accused me of faking an estimate to keep himself out of trouble. If I could give zero stars I would. I went here for over 2 years and had no issues. I came in last month looking for an estimate on an implant vs a bridge. Daniel sat down with me and gave me both, though seeming annoyed and wanting me out of there as quickly as possible. So I asked for the cost of each so I could make a decision, he sat there and worked up numbers and hand wrote those numbers on an estimate sheet for me with no notes next to them. I then wrote next to those numbers what they were for. The handwriting was clearly two different people. This part is important... He tells me that the two are only a few hundred dollars apart, which I'm super excited about! So I make my next appointment for xrays to consult with the oral surgeon about the implant. I go in, have the $260 xrays which were included in the implant estimate so I was fine with that. I then proceed to sit down with Daniel again and he gives me an estimate that is over $2000 more than the original. Obviously I'm pissed. I wouldn't have came in for that xray/consult visit had I known that. I explain this to him and of course he has no memory of our original estimate visit. I find the paper with notes on it from our original visit and send it to him. He then emails me back accusing me of FAKING IT and writing it myself. There are no words to explain how much anger I feel for this place. Instead of him taking responsibility and simply apologizing, he blamed me. Don't go here. They will overcharge you and be like, "that's not what we said, you must be wrong"... even if you have proof. Also, for the record Daniel... I'm a graphic designer... if I wanted to "fake" an estimate from you... I would've did a much better job. But I'm also not a sh*t person, so I wouldn't do that. I had to go back and get a tooth replaced on my upper denture that I paid $1200+ for. They charge $85.00 for an exam that I didn't need or get. The dentist was very nice. He put my denture in my mouth and took it out. I said I was being charged for an exam and he said there should be no charge, as we were walking up to the front desk to let them know his dental assistant very rudely said "yes you will be charged". When I replied that all he did was put the denture in my mouth and take it back out, she said "that's how it is". Since when does a dental assistant have authority over the DDS? I do not have dental insurance and have to pay out of pocket. I am REALLY disappointed with the staff at this office! After paying $1200+ for a denture that a tooth came off of ( repair is covered by warranty) they charge an outrageous fee for an exam you don't need! I can understand they have to charge an office visit fee, however $85 is a ridiculous amount of money to have to pay for something you don't even get! In my opinion they should charge half that amount for people that don't have dental insurance that they accept. They did give me 15% off so I have to pay $74. I do appreciate the discount but still too much to pay for a service I didn't receive...:( read more

Most of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Today, I had an appointment at the local Aspen Dental location and the office manager named Krystal was rude to my wife. My wife goes back with me on numerous occasions even when my teeth were pulled out. I know there is an epidemic going right now but professionalism needs to be addressed correctly. The office manager told my wife she needed to go to our vehicle because she could not be in the lobby or even in the back. If she had explained the situation in a more professional way than everything would have been fine. read more

Terrible Experience here. Save yourself the time and find another location. They over schedule and you'll end up waiting like me. First visit, I waited 45 minutes to be seen. Second visit, I waited 30 minutes and was only called back after complaining. Both times I arrived 15 minutes early. (I am not counting that into my waiting time.) After being called back I was given a local shot and then left to wait again! After another 45 minutes went by with no communication from staff, I LEFT! And since they make you pay your co-pay in advance, I am out $110. I'll find a new dentist who values my time and keeps their appointments. read more

Had a visit with Dr. Lucas for an exam. The staff was friendly and I didn't have to wait, which was a nice change from other dental offices.

The VERY worst dental experience ever!! Purchased their best dentures. Horrible fit. Went back multiple times for adjustments and waited over an hour each time! They were never adjusted properly. They rubbed sores on my gums, lips, and sides of my tongue. They were unusable. Got fed up and returned them and nearly 2 months later I am still waiting for a credit to my dental insurance company and to my credit card. Avoid this place! read more

Took my husband in for an ER tooth ache. Of course being a man it's been yrs since he has seen any dentist. To make a long story short we where there 2 hrs. They did nothing but x-Ray . They referred him to another dentist for a root canal, and made a plan for further dental work. So I now have a husband that has to go another wk with a sever tooth ache. Not real happy at this point. I will say the staff was very friendly and the dentist took her time to explain things to us , I guess will we see just how good they are. .
