This location is truly terrible. I had to have my two front teeth removed because I couldn't afford to fix them. The doctor here broke the tooth next to my front tooth, but this location refused to fix it. I didn't have the money to fix it. My health is terrible, and I've been unable to work. But they won't fix unless you pay. Even if it's their fault. I contacted a lawyer, but they told me for just a single tooth it's not worth getting involved. It's gotta be 100k+ worth of damages for them to care. I wish I was joking. For all I know, they broke it on purpose to try and get more money out of me. I have a broken tooth in my head with no way to get it removed. The headaches are terrible. But not as terrible as this location. Truly terrible human beings here who only care about $$$. Yes. I signed a paper that said the location isn't responsible for damages. But it's been a year now, and I still have a broken tooth in my head. I hope all the terrible people here feel the same pain I've gone through. I move to Fort Wayne and needed a dentist. I should have called my insurance first. I did not understand why I needed to pay so much out of pocket when all I ever need is a cleaning. So, I paid and they said they had to do it in two parts. So I had to schedule to come back in three weeks. Every other place always did it in one day about 45 minutes. She took about 30 minutes for the first part and said the next part will take about 20 minutes. I will have to pay again when I come back. I called my insurance (Cigna Dental Insurance) and asked why they didn't cover more. They stated I was being charged for unnecessary procedures and items I was being over charged. They charged me 43 dollars for a oral rinse I could have gotten from Walmart with a prescription for 7.24. They looked in my mouth and said everything looked good and free of cancer, but they wanted to do a oral cancer exam to make sure. This is from the American Dental Association: "Checking for signs of oral cancer is part of a regular dental checkup. Your dentist can examine your oral tissues easily by looking at your lips and inside your mouth. He or she will check your gingivae (gums) carefully, the inside of your cheeks and your tongue (the sides and underneath)." //www.ada.org/~/media/ADA/Publications/Files/Dental_Patient_0510.pdf?la=en They wanted to charge me another 90 dollars to take a second look. Making money from fear is not good practice. I went there on a promotion for a free exam and x rays, but they charged the insurance company anyway. I got in fairly quick, but while I was there a staff member was getting her teeth whitened and another had a cavity filled. The only reason I mentioned that part was because when I left the waiting room was packed and I was the only non staff member in the back. I heard a staff member say people are always waiting because the doctors are shared with the other 3 locations. I think after my next appointment in Sept,,,I will just use a groupon dentist or a small one shop place. read more

They are not personable. My wife had come in for a procedure that the hygienist was going to perform that required numbing her mouth, but the dentist was not in that day. The business waited until they had my wife sitting in the dental chair to tell her that the dentist was not in. She asked why they didn't tell her before she came and they said that if she had listened all the way to the end of the automated appointment reminder call that the message would have informed her that the dentist was not in. Why call the patient to remind them of an appointment and take on the dentist is not in at the end of the call? Why can't a person pick up a phone and call the patient to see if they would like to reschedule? This dentist office seems to be run by an office manager and not the dentist. The dentist is an employee, and not the boss. The office manager uses high pressure sales to try to get you to do treatments and procedures that are not covered by your insurance. One day my wife came home from a cleaning with a $130 Oral B toothbrush. I asked her if it was free. She said, "Yeah they just handed it to me". We already had a $90 Oral B toothbrush, but this one had a few more bells and whistles on it. We started using it. A month later I get a bill for what the insurance company didn't cover on the appointment. That took brish was on the bill and it wasn't covered. Big Surprise! I called the dental office and the hygienist felt that I should pay. I told her she could have her used toothbrush back or they better comp it. They ended up comping it, but that is real shady sending a customer home with a toothbrush that the insurance company isn't going to pay for and not even asking if you want to buy it. The office manager didn't even know that hygienist was doing that, or maybe she did and it was apart of their poor business model. I got a cleaning from the hygienist and it was the fastest cleaning that I ever had. It normally takes 45 minutes to do a cleaning. It took this woman 15 minutes. I would rather go to a dentist that has their name on the outside of the business. read more

My dad went to this place way before COVID. They pulled a tooth and broke his jaw because the dentist used way too much pressure. His jaw was tender from previously going through chemo and radiation. They are doing nothing to assist with the health issues this has caused him. read more

So like many other people I was referred here for a oral surgeon because they were the only ones in my insurance network. I was very leary because of several negatives reviews. However because of some work issues I had to reschedule a few times. I also had to call back in for various information and also to fax some things. All of these handled very well. They got me in with the warning that they may not be able to do the procedure "extraction" because of the late appointment time. They were only about 15 minutes late getting me back there. Which I think is fairly good considering the time of day. It was a late appointment, 5:15. They are open until 7 PM. But when I got there they new that I had struggled to find time to come in and were able to extract the tooth that evening. Through this whole time everyone from the office staff, especially "Olivia" did outstanding. I think she helped push the staff into doing the procedure that evening. Also the x-ray tech and then the Dentist herself were great. Everyone was very professional and kind. They had there act together for sure. They answered all of my questions and then some. I did not experience anything negative. It was very clean and professional. At the time of payment they already had my insurance coverage ready to go. So I didn't get over charged later just so they could send me a check back. They made a very anxious procedure for me go very smooth. I would not hesitate to go back. The good: most of the staff is nice and not rude. The bad: - Fillings hurt so much even after at least 10 revisits over a period of 4 month and more than 3 doctors. - They sneaked a sale of a tooth brush in the first estimate until I asked for a price breakdown. Stay away!! They overdosed my father with pill sedation and he almost died!! No joke, no exaggeration. My mom kept calling their office and asking if it was normal for him to still be out of it when his procedure (dentures) was done 8 hours ago. They kept saying it was normal (NOT)and didn't seem concerned!! My mom called me over to their house so I could help her move my dad. I called an ambulance as he was getting more sedated, sweating, pale, and then he collapsed when we tried to help him to the bathroom. 8 hours after a dental procedure normally someone is alert and walking around normally. I Called an ambulance and it took 4 large firemen and a blanket to get him off the floor as he was completely dead weight (200 pounds, 6 feet tall, so not a real big guy.) His heart was slowly beating and he was barely breathing!! They even did a hard sternal rub to try to get a response and my dad didn't open his eyes or move! He was hospitalized and luckily got there in time to save his life. read more

The reason I give Aspen Dental one star is to warn dental customers that they are rotten at caring for your individual needs, but they are really good at getting you to sign a legal contract to take your money for terrible results. read more

We have been there twice. My husband's appointment was great. A fill-in DDS Jennifer Sitjar was wonderful, attentive, explained everything to us. And the office manager was very helpful. He did however had to wait a lot in the waiting room and to see the dentist and office manager. My experience was so much worse. Not only was the wait even longer it took 2 hours from appointment time to us walking out for a simple new patient evaluation. The dentist (DDS Loisier - not that he introduced himself!) was really bad. His hands were shaking and he had horrible bed side manners. He did not explain what he was doing and I was shocked to see him actually holding, pulling! my tongue?!?! In the end he did not even talk to me about what he found or what he thought the treatment should be! which to me is unacceptable even if I was willing to get past the trembling hands! The office manager was a different one and she did not seem to know what treatment I was supposed to have. On top of it she tried to "pass" a cancer screening (70$) without even asking me about it the same as an electric toothbrush (120$) Very very unhappy! So I guess this is like a dental roulette, you do not know what you will get unless you try. read more
