so I went to dental works with a mouth full of bad rotted out teeth and got a partial on top and…read moreone on the bottom. I was so happy to be getting them done and wanted and hoped they'd be done right. it's been such a nightmare though at this place. so many things I can say and add that would steer anyone away from this dentist and this place. For one, the way that they removed the bad ones, well they left one still in there in my gum that was broke off that I feel. second, my first partial I got was made so thin that it broke on me from being so thin which is what he even said as well when he commented on just how thin it was where it broke at but he charged me anyway for a new replacement all because my husband said I had used my toothbrush on them. I didnt even brush them hard or tough at all. it was THAT thin. third, it takes literally 6 times for them to get the right fit for my bottom partial replacement since the one broke because every time they had a new set come in they didn't fit at all in any way. I finally got a set that worked and fit my mouth and this isn't even a year into it that I've had this set now and the top and bottom are thinning so badly and so much. usually dentures and partials are supposed to last up to 10 years and I haven't even had these for a year yet and I've been having to look around for places to get a new set due to knowing they will break at any time with how thin they are getting. bottom is so thin that you can literally see through it. I'm not sure how they haven't broke yet by now. top is thinning where the gum goes on them and it's getting thin enough to where it's clear through the partial which is shouldn't be. also, I got a filling from him on 1 tooth and it fell out so he did it again for me and told me he wouldn't charge me for this one that fell out, which was fine and great due to it being his mistake and not being done right or good enough. well that same one he fixed and didn't charge me to fix is now messed up again. as the filling and the gum line don't even touch. there's a gap between the filling and the gum that I can see my actual tooth through that's going bad because it wasn't done right. he also told me I had to have a root canal on this tooth due to not making me numb enough when filling it the second time. it hasn't hurt me at all since then, since he was trying to shave down my tooth and the filling he had put in. worst pain in my life. I got another opinion on that tooth and sure enough, I don't need a root canal. the filling just wasn't done right and they didn't get the right spot when numbing me for the filling which had me in so much pain that they had to stop. it's not the first time from me that the root canal thing has been said by someone either as there's been a few more I have read about that they went through the same thing regarding a filling he had done that went bad/fell out and that he told them they needed a root canal from it. it's just bad. I also had an appointment set up with them for said "root canal" that was confirmed by a woman at the desk when I made the appointment, come the day of this appointment I find out it was never even scheduled to begin with like I had thought I made sure of. The woman even told me and confirmed it was set for me. just a nightmare of a place and now I'm having to have more work done and another set of partials made for me on top and bottom due to the lab he uses not being good at all as they apparently don't make good partials or use strong materials for them that hold up. don't waste your time. you will come out with way more than you actually need to have done and have more issues than you previously had before going in and will absolutely have to spend more money than you initially planned to fix what was done wrong to begin with at this place.

After moving to Tennessee and seeing all of the positive reviews for this dentistry, I decided they…read morewere a great option. Lesson learned. I have NEVER been more dissatisfied in my entire life! Dr. Jones, absolutely phenomenal! He has great bedside manner, empathy, and went above and beyond for all of my needs. However, the rest of the office, different story. Every hygienist I had told me one thing and then when I returned, another one told me the exact opposite. No one was ever on the same page about anything! When asking for any kind of clarification regarding anything, the girls at the front never even TRIED to hide the fact that they were clearly annoyed with having to explain anything. As someone who also works in customer service, this is a bad look. I think I vouch for everyone when I say, nobody wants to spend their time and money on a place where you're made to feel like you're the problem. Because I was on a treatment plan, I gave chance, after chance, after chance, instead of just going somewhere different to avoid the hassle of starting over. Again, lesson learned the hard way. I know how insurance works. EVERY SINGLE TIME I stepped foot into the dentist for anything, I was given a quote, paid for the service, and then MONTHS later hit with more money that I supposedly owed. Nobody called upfront to inform me of any changes whatsoever. Every time I would ask for clarification, the only thing given was attitude. When you take your car to the repair shop and you are given a quote for repairs, that's what you're expected to pay! No exaggeration whatsoever, I paid what was quoted and then months later, I magically had a balance for something else. My last visit was a cleaning that was COVERED under my insurance. I ended up having to pay for something that wasn't covered under my FREE yearly cleaning but again, nobody told me otherwise because nobody ever knows what's going on. The hygienist offered fluoride and proceeded to say that it was no charge. I agreed. She then proceeded to tell me that I needed to floss extra good between a newly crowned tooth. I told her that the hygienist I had on my visit before said that I needed to be extra careful with that so that's what I've been trying to do. She looked me dead in my face and said, "NO! You floss how you need to and if the crown breaks then we didn't do it right when we put it in." A week later, I was informed that I, yet again for the millionth time, had an unpaid balance. They can write that off. They will not get one more penny from me. I would rather start over with another business who is upfront, honest, and actually gives a crap about their customers because this place isn't it.
