Updating my review: I had this extraction done about a month ago. I went back in the following week for a 'post op' appt and the Dentist who did the extraction said there is an area of bone that 'per X-rays they did at the post-op' is still connected to my jawline or something. She MENTIONED the option for them to go in again and 'remove it' but I opted to wait another week or so and then have a follow up because I couldn't take more time off work. Well, that 'follow up' was supposed to be a phone call appt- which did not happen. I tried calling them twice that week and left voicemails both times which to this day went un-acknowledged. I had an appt for this coming Monday so I chose to just wait until that appt- but was notified today they have to 'reschedule'. I called them per the text message and left a voicemail around approx 11:19am today but it is 1745 and I did. Not get a call back. They are closed until Monday. Also the extraction site in my mouth is still not fully healed a whole month later, They quoted me approx 9000.00 in dental work (after insurance) I 'need done' and I was GOING TO schedule those appointments after my follow up this Monday. But now? Probably not. I don't know if I need antibiotics still because the extraction site is not fully healed/ closed or what, Can't get a call back. May see how next week goes then look into other options for proceeding. read more

Warning: Failed Results and Financial Exploitation. I deeply regret choosing Aspen Dental over a local provider. I invested over $12,500--a massive financial sacrifice--trusting their promise of a restored smile. Not only is the work physically and aesthetically incomplete, but I was told today that I would need to pay an additional $11,000 for work that was supposedly included in my original plan. I feel completely misled and abandoned. I went against my better judgment and did not listen to others who've told me about their deeply unsatisfactory experiences. I left the office in tears; please do yourself a favor and find a reputable local dentist who values patients over profits. Never again. read more

Horrible will never recommend this place. I came here in February, I had my Newborn with me, I scheduled for a cleaning, and they said i needed X-rays, that was fine until just X-rays took almost 5 HOURS! i called the next day to schedule my cleaning and no one answers the phone. it is now June and i've called every week, i am now going to a different dentist office! i tried giving them a chance but customer service is so poor. read more

I came into Aspen Dental in March for the free screening. They gave me a list of all the dental work I needed as well as the insurance policies and discount plans that they accepted. They also referred me to get a root canal before coming back to them for the work. I bought the discount plan they preferred and bought the discount plan now they won't give me an appointment. My husband and I have tried to get an appointment for months and they refuse to book us an appointment and have provided no reason. They always promise to call back but never do. Front desk personnel never seem to have any knowledge of The business or issues that occur. Staff is polite but overall I wouldn't send my worst enemy here for dental work. Wait times are outrageous most of the time, they have these miraculous "system failures" that seem to occur when they mess up consistently, staff don't seem to be well trained when serious situations occur with customer information. I've had numerous issues with these folks and today was the cherry on top. They have lost my bausiness as well as anyone I know. Do not waste your time at this dentist office. Go elsewhere. The wait is worth it. You'll probably regret going to Aspen Dental. I can't speak for all facilities but you'd be better off at a local place owned by generations. read more

Dental care is ok but trying to reach them is impossible. They do not answer the phone. There is just the run around of different call choices. If the billing is questionable there is no way to resolve it because the account department is in New York and they don't take any responsibility. A very poor business and I can not recommend to anyone. read more

I came here with a wicked toothache and under the duress of pain, I agreed to have 4 teeth pulled. I was assured the prosthetic would be adjusted to my liking and if there are any issues they would do everything they could. So after a month or two the prosthetic get horrible and loose fitting. I schedule an appointment which didn't go well as they put me in for something I did not need and upon checking in they wanted to charge me $900 and the receptionist says "I can only tell you what I see on the screen" So after half an hour of trying to figure out why I was there, they examined me and worked on the piece and put some filler in it and told me it was the best they could do. I fee defeated and like I wasted $2000 dollars cuz I paid cash as I didn't have insurance. Basically if they had just pulled the one tooth I had I probably would've been ok but they tried to convince me to spend $65,000 on a full mouth. I was in so much pain and they made me wait a week for the appointment then another week for the extractions. I just wanted to get it over with and I feel like I made a bad decision. I needed to go back to work and I hadn't slept in days. I honestly don't feel very well taken care of and I won't be going back here. I'm now trying to find somewhere I could get a new piece made and hopefully fit a bit better. I'm just too young to rip all my teeth out. I asked about bringing my daughter in for a usual check up and I felt like they are kind of too focused on selling. I explained I had insurance for my daughter and the lady goes "well it's $xx dollars in case you don't". I literally just told her what insurance we had. Feels a little too salesman ish. First they schedule way to many people for the same time slots, so they make you wait or tell you they have to reschedule you because of the backlog. They are very expensive, and try to get you to accept overpriced procedures you don't need. You need to pay up front for any work that is going to be done. I did that, and it has been 7 months waiting for them to do the procedure...an implant. I have talked to them and they keep saying someone will get in touch with you from one of our other locations because we don't have a dentist here that does implants anymore. Really?! So I need to get my money back from them....and I get the run around. read more

This place completely sucks! They are over-booked constantly. Takes forever to get follow up appointments for work that's been paid for and under a 7 year guaranteed satisfaction plan. Calling the office always seems to go to voicemail. And sometimes they will actually call you back. I have a bad fitting partial denture on the bottom, so the top denture keeps chipping and cracking due to my bottom teeth being harder. The need to take the time and get both top and bottoms working together. Wish I had done more research when I started this a year ago. Still lots of problems with little care and follow up from them. Long Review Warning! First and foremost, the staff is uneducated in their practice areas, two, the staff is not professional nor do they act as if they are in a professional setting. I started my motto journey in Nov of 21. I started with a 22 week entire process. However as of today in 2023 I am still undergoing treatment due to this staff. As stated above, I started my treatment with 22 trays, half way through my process they lost my trays so I had to be scanned again. I called the office weekly asking for my trays for a total of 6 weeks. The office told me my trays were not in. Come to find out the trays had been there the entire time. In result, due to their malpractice they lengthend my motto journey from 22 weeks to 33 weeks. Completed the 33 weeks and my bite was worse than it was begore I started. Why? Because someone scanned my teeth wrong and resulted in not fitting the left side correctly. Go in last month for scan to get refinement trays a total of 14 needed. Go back to the office on Tuesday of this week, the staff had no idea what they were doing. Completed IPR on my teeth. First with a handheld device which caused extreme discomfort, the hygienist told the dentist they did not have the attachment (they did, they used it before). So about 10 mins of that, they go and find the attachment for IPR. Complete that. Create 3 gaps in my teeth. Then, ask me to put my trays on. Dentist said he didnt know how to. Then I tell them they dont fit correctly. Another hygienist comes in and says wear them for two weeks and see what happens. Knowing they dont fit. They didnt check the trays at all. They left the attachments on my teeth, the aligners had no attachments on them at all. This is why they didnt fit. Which the end result would have messed up my teeth even more. Yesterday I had to go to a new office to remove my attachments, and now I require a new scan and new aligners because Jacksonville messed up so bad. Ive called corporate and I still have to pay over 3k for a terrible experience where they've done more damage than good on my teeth. This is a malpractice suit. Staff is nice and occasionally nonchalant about how long they made you wait for the appointment you booked well in advance!. I can never get through on a call. My crown has come off twice. I always have to wait anywhere between a 20 minutes to an hour after my scheduled appoint to even be seen!!! I will either sue or just get a refund of my money because this is ridiculous. read more

If you don't mind being there all day (like 6hours ) for a cleaning then they are pretty good I'm normally a big baby when it comes to a deep clean but the hygienist I had was pretty good it was just a long waiting period to be seen read more

The bottom line: Aspen is disorganized and doesn't know what they're doing. They have a different dentist every time you go there, each of which have different opinions and most of which are mediocre. read more

I went to Aspen Dental for an initial exam back in March 2021. Since I switched jobs, I didn't have insurance for a month and hadn't seen a dentist about 9 months prior to my appointment. All I wanted was a cleaning. After 2 hours, they preformed a bunch of digital scans, X-rays, and measurements, but never completed my cleaning. At the end they informed me that I had early onset gum disease and needed to have a deep cleaning. The financial team met with me and set up a treatment plan that would cost me and arm and a leg, including a $100 toothbrush. I decided to get a second opinion and went to a local dentist. They said I had a small amount of gum recession but it was minimized to my molars and that a deep cleaning was unnecessary. Months pass by and I receive a bill totaling over $200. I called my insurance and they told me that the bill was never submitted and at most I should be paying $30 out of pocket based on my insurance. I contacted the Aspen Dental office to rectify the bill and receive a new bill the following month for the same amount. I call my insurance who also contacted Aspen Dental directly to walk them through submitting the bill to my insurance and still continue to receive bills with no insurance amount deducted. I have correspondence via email with the financial team at the Aspen Dental branch location providing my insurance cards and instructions for submitting my insurance. I recently went to my new dentist and received a cleaning and a new set of X-rays because it was due. I didn't have to pay any copay which leaves me to believe I am being swindled by Aspen Dental. read more
