Aspen Dental is nothing but a bait and switch, grifting company!! My bill changed every time I went in!! One month after I completed treatment (2 partials) and paid the BALANCE due (ask if this paid me in full and was told yes) I received another bill for $800! They said it was because my insurance was exhausted and they weren't paid enough. Mind You....I called my insurance company and they told me my benefits are always up to date and it never takes them 1 to 2 months confirm coverage!! I worked with the office manager to confirm my final costs and STILL was billed more. STAY AWAY!!!!!! They are Lairs!! I will be filing complaints with BBB, State Attorney General and anyone else I can think of. read more

This isn't a dentist office. It's a used car dealership. They performed a periodontal exam showing mostly 2s and 3s and a couple 4s. Despite this, they refused to provide a basic standard cleaning. Instead, they pushed an outrageously expensive treatment that wasn't covered by my plan (a $600 Peridex "irrigation") this service can cause more harm then good. They were more interested in profiting than providing proper dental care. To add insult to injury when a real dentist did my perio charting they did not match up at all with theirs. They also misdiagnosed cavities. This is a dangerous predatory operation that drains your wallet and puts your health at risk. They wanted to charge me over $800 WITH INSURANCE, over several visits. Meanwhile I had everything I needed done in one sitting including 2 fillings and a cleaning all for $45 at a real dentist. This place is a total scam, RUN. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. 5 weeks after my daughter was scanned for Invisalign they call me to she would have to be rescanned and we would also have to reschedule her cleaning appointment. It would take 7 to 10 business days to get the amount that we already paid back which was 60 percent of the complete thing. We will be taking our business elsewhere. RIP OFF AT ASPEN DENTAL 08/22/2023 TREATMENT PLAN A treatment plan was done at first visit. My dental insurance has $3500 annual coverage so I told them I needed my fillings done, a new partial and full denture. I was told I needed one filling and a crown so I said I could not afford the crown until everything else was done. So I wanted a temporary filling instead of a crown. I was told not to worry about that as the crown would be free, which sounded to me like there was no charge for the crown! So I said ok to go ahead with the plan! After the crown was done, they did my fillings. It turned out that they did a poor job with the treatment plan as there was actually 5 fillings. And to top that off, the crown did not fit and had to be done over. Also, a filling came out the first week and they took over 3 weeks working me back in to fix the filling. Then, I was told the crown would cost over $1800 and therefore did not have enough coverage from insurance to do my partial and denture. Now I have to wait until next year when my insurance will pay for my partial and denture. My old partial does not fit now because they did not properly make the crown to fit under my partial clasps. I had to throw the old partial away because they cut off the clasp to make it fit and I have no posterior occlusion now. My partial was destroyed. Now I am having digestive problems as I cannot chew properly which may cause me health problems if I do not get a new partial and denture made soon! I had a copy of the treatment plan which did not show the crown on it at all. So then they said this was an error on their part and it should have been added in. This would have proved my original statement that I could not afford the crown until my new appliances were made. Now it sounds to me like a 'bait and switch', so to speak or a scam! So my fillings are done, and my crown is also done finally after it was remade. To make matters worse, since my treatment plan did not show the crown on it, I could not prove they said it was free. So I got upset and threw away the treatment plan. They do have copies of course which does me any good because now I have to wait maybe 6 or more months until I can get the insurance to cover my denture and partial next year. Since they added 4 extra fillings, it used more of my insurance coverage too. Now I am in a pickle thanks to Aspen Dental!!! read more

They committed Fraud!! Charged me $3,634.00 to have my wisdom teeth out when it was covered in my insurance plan and I only should have paid $602.99. They are also keeping a check from my insurance company for $1,250.27 !! The oral Surgeon Joseph'l s Nawrocki broke my back molar during my procedure and did not inform me!! I now need a root canal and cap. He was very unprofessional and rushed the entire procedure!! I have filed a FRAUDULENT COMPLAINT with my insurance company to get my money and next will be a malpractice lawsuit against the surgeon. read more

Never dealt with such obvious grifting trash, requiring fulk dental work-ups for simple denture gasket changes, I'd rather drive 6 hours to my old clinic than deal with what are clearly insurance scanners trying to run up costs, I imagine they make dentures NOT fit to charge for additional office visits, utter trash care read more

The review from Melissa, Walton Hills is similar to my experience there. They overcharge and ignore you when you dispute. Office manager said the same thing to me: that he already EXPLAINED it to me as he was yelling at me. He seems like he is off his rocker and certainly does not know how to run a place like this. I am giving them 1 star because you simply can't give none. This people ruined my teeth. I went there for a regular cleaning and all. They told me that I needed a deep cleaning since I haven't been to the in 2 years. They told me after insurance I would have to pay about 280 which I paid and they did the check and cleaning. Then they said I had a cavity and that they would have to fill it which I agreed and I paid 180 after insurance for this then they sent me a bill for another 280 which I paid despite them saying what you are billed is what you pay. Mind you my insurance paid about 2800 all for just a cleaning and filling a cavity. Now my main issue, after the filling, my teeth got very sensitive, I spoke to the dentist and she told me to use sensodyn toothpaste, and I did for months fast forward I started to have excruciating pain in my mouth so I went to another dentist for a second opinion, apparently the filling was not done properly and I developed and infection to the bone of my month long story short they ruin a perfectly healthy teeth they had to pull my tooth. Now I am looking for money to get a implant became entangled with insurance a new implant is about $5000. I am thinking about suing this people because they ruined my healthy teeth my teeth are very healthy and I have never had a problem until I went to aspen dental. Stay away from them if you plan on keeping all your molars. Awful practice they don't care about your health they just want your money. read more

Where can I start. So I had been a while since I've been to the dentist, so I had to make an emergency appointment because I had a cracked tooth. They did X-rays and an exam and said I need a deep cleaning and a crown on the tooth that broke. I spoke with the office manager and he gave me an estimate. He offered me to apply for the Dental First Credit since I couldn't afford to pay the entire treatment all at once. So after my treatment I started getting my explanations of benefits from my insurance and noticed that I was overcharged for the Atridox treatment that I had to have on almost every tooth. What Aspen did not know is even though this was not a covered benefit my insurance has a contracted agreement with Aspen and I only was owed half of what I was charged. I explained this to the office manager who had no clue what I was talking about so I had to break it down in an excel spreadsheet for him showing him what my insurance states what I owe and what he charged my Dental First account. There was over $1100.00 that was overcharged to me. The office manager kept telling me that that he is taking care of it and wait one billing cycle and it would be taken care of. Well after 2 billing cycles, it was not taken care of and I called again and he was absolutely clueless. He even tried to accuse me that it was my fault. Well I knew that I wasn't going to get anywhere with the office manager so I called the corporate office and they understood exactly what I was explaining to them and it was fixed within 5 days. Oh and my son went there and was told that he needed invisalign. He sat with the same office manager who gave him an estimate, my son applied for the Dental First. My son called me while he was talking to the office manager and had me on speaker phone. I told my son and the office manager that we will talk about invisalign tonight and we will call you IF we decide to proceed with the treatment. One month later my son gets a bill in the mail from Dental First for the invisalign treatment that we NEVER agreed to have. We called the office manager and of course was clueless. I kept asking him how did this happen and he would not give me an answer. Again he tried to blame it on my son and said he agreed, which he never did. He did get that fixed pretty quick but WE had to fight with the Dental First credit company with the late fees and interest charges. To anyone that reads this - Please review every and all bills you receive from this business. Review your Explanation of benefits from your insurance and make sure they all add up. Nobody should have to go though this. read more
