Just to add to my other review, im so mad at this place!!! I finally found a great dentist,after they pulled most of my teeth july of 2024,and left me hanging,not able to eat,and losing a bunch of weight, so i went elsewhere. Aspen lied and said they gave me dentures,WHEN THEY DID NOT!!!!!, so my insurance wont cover any now. So basically theyve left me to starve to death!!!! Im looking into a lawyer ,as this is ridiculous! read more

Do not recommend this place at all. I've called the office 3 times regarding an appointment at 9am trying to confirm that my son actually has an appointment. All 3 times I was sent to voicemail with no return call. I called twice the day before a couple hours before the office closed and once as soon as the office opened, the day of the appointment. There is now not enough time for me to get to the office IF he does have an appointment. TERRIBLE customer service and horribly irresponsible office staff that don't care to respond to you. I should have listened to all of the people who said not to go here. read more

If I could give a negative feedback I would. 9 days after having all my 26 teeth pulled and fitted for dentures I'm dying of migraines. I was told 2 days ago I have bone spurs in my jaws and they are normal. I can't eat drink or smile as they promise. Same day dentures are a joke. I have taken mild gym disease to struggling to survive living with mental issues as it is. read more

My elderly mother called to see if they could fix her 2 teeth that same day. Yes, they said. What transpired was nearly 4 HOURS of shuffling her from room to room to eventually be told fixing her teeth would cost $8000 and she had gum issues. Absolutely exhausted she said no and left. 1) Another dentist fixed her teeth for $500. 2) She does NOT have gum issues. She's never had gum issues 3) making an 83 year old wait for 4 hours is unconscionable 4) The xrays y'all took were unreadable for the 2 teeth she actually needed fixed. Never again. read more

I went in to have my teeth checked and discuss a plan to fix them. they gave me a treatment plan and a price. I agreed to the price and set an appointment. 2 days later they called me and said they will not honor that price, that they want an additional $859.80 I do not have an issue with the quality of service, just the fact that they are not honest, and do not back their word. read more

Absolutely awful service through them. I've been unable to chew for 4 months on my right side because of poorly done fillings. The hygienist is so nice but tried convincing me I never got the painful tooth filled just for it to be in my chart that I had. They do not listen to your pain or your concerns, and the dentist is kind but definitely went to a back alley dental school. Sucks they're so nice because I want to give them more chances but they are just AWFUL. read more

August 15, 2019 This aspen dental company is a SCAM. What a ripoff. !! An appointment was given, specifically to review a tooth with a chipped off older filling. Even before being taken to the X-ray room I was asked, questioned 4 times regarding my insurance.... 4 times I said I did not have insurance. Next, rip off...I first had to have full mouth X-rays and after that long ordeal I asked "Now can I talk to the dentist about my concerns" ? AGAIN NO and their next planned step was : I had to have hygienist clean and examine.. ( so they could formulate a plan ) . Again I ask to see the dentist about my problem and the reason I was in their dental chair.... Again NO..... Finally, I was told the x-rays and exams were free, but to talk to the dentist I would have to pay $140.00 . I quickly said thank you and left. This is fraud and manipulation . Leading me on and then not completing the reason for the appointment they had given me.. There needs to be class action and legal action taken against this company. This aspen dental is not accepting Cigna DHMO. The website does not specify that. According to Cami at the front desk, it's not an issue with Cigna, it's that this office in particular is refusing new patients with a Cigna DHMO plan. When I was in the office she specifically said "Cigna capped them and she even has an email from her assistant manager telling them they aren't able to take new patients." She requested 60% down on all services as nothing would be covered. I called Cigna and much to my surprise Cami told them Aspen is refusing new patient transfers. Nothing to do with this Cigna cap she mentioned to me. Also, if you have this insurance plan, you are probably already aware that Aspen Dental is your only option. Not to mention, they called me at 8:20AM asking me to come in early if at all possible because they have "plenty of openings this morning." I'm not really sure how you are refusing new patients with a certain insurance plan that you have accepted for at least the past year, yet you have plenty of openings on a Saturday morning. I'll be filing a formal complaint with Cigna and Aspen dental. read more

This was without a doubt the most traumatic dental experience I've ever had, and I am 49 years old. Went in to have a tooth pulled, after 30 minutes of yanking on my head the dentist finally BREAKS to crown off the tooth. Spends another 10 minutes digging out the root. Didnt bother to even put a stitch or two to close it up. Long story short I spent a week unable to eat anything but soup. Couldnt open my mouth to even speak because my jaws so painful. Sleeping a hour at a time on a heating pad, eating 2000mg of motrin daily, finally couldnt take the pain any longer and returned today to have it checked. Explanation given to dentist, he put another PC of gauze in the huge hole and refused to give me even a couple of days worth of pain pills. All I can say is if your after a true Army dentist experance and love pain that lasts for weeks. When it doesnt need to, then Aspen dental of Midland is your place. read more

I have always had good experiences here, and my insurance covers alot of the appointment needs I have. The front desk is always prompt and courteous, even if I have to cancel an appointment. The online account is easy to access and I can pay bills online fast. Alicia cleans my teeth, and is one of the nicest and most skilled hygienists I've ever had. Love this place! read more

Staff was friendly. HOWEVER the guy I had spoken to set up my appointment had told me prior that they accept blue cross and it's a very easy process. Later to find out that they cannot take my blue cross blue shield unless I have the primaries ssn although I had given them the exact card.they charged me $76 for an "exam" when I sat there for almost an hour waiting for them to process my blue cross blue shield insurance through. The guy looked in my mouth for literally 30 seconds and referred me to an orthodontist. And was immediately sent to the manager and she was EXTREMELY rude towards me because they were not able to process my blue cross and had not told me until after I had sat there waiting for almost an hour. They tried rigging money from me which I did not have unless they could use my insurance then proceeded to have an attitude towards me while I was trying to figure out what my other options were knowing they should have waited to give me an "exam" until my insurance card was verified. read more

I'd like to share my experience with Aspen Dental office in Midland, MI. I am a patient of this office for 2 years now (unable to change the doctor due to my insurance policy). I visited the office yesterday and today, Aug 3. Unfortunately both times i was unable to get any treatment (had an issue with 2 teeth and needed to have them filled). Yesterday it took them over an hour to get the teeth xrayed and i was told to come back the next day. I had my appointment scheduled for 10:30am yet at 11:30am i was still sitting in the waiting area while other people who came much later were being seen. I wasn't offered any explanation by the staff, and nobody even acknowledged that waiting for the scheduled appointment for over an hour is not normal. So i just left and my teeth remained untreated. Extremely disappointed with the lack of service. I am very concerned that if i ever have an emergency or tooth pain, i can't even count on this issue being addressed. I had similar experience during my visit to the same dentist office last year. I do not recommend this clinic, as people i know who went there had similar (bad) experience so it's clearly a pattern. read more

My adventure, rather, my nightmare with this business began with a visit to see if a tooth I had had a root canal, but no immediate crown, could be saved. They advised the x-ray showed that it could NOT be saved and extraction was the only option. The dentist (female), pried on the tooth using the tooth next to it. Shortly thereafter, THAT adjacent tooth was recommended to have a root canal & I was referred to a local specialist in root canals. I went to that appointment, the dentist (male), drilled out the root and examined the tooth only to find that the tooth root was "fractured" and the tooth could not be saved. Keep in mind that this was the same tooth that was used to pry the adjacent tooth for extraction. I believe that root tip was fractured due to the use of it to pry the first extraction they did. So, the dentist (female) proceeded to perform the extraction which then turned into a "surgical" procedure due to the fractured tip left behind after the extraction of the main body of the tooth. At that time, I was also told that the x-rays showed that I needed to have two (2) fillings. They stated the x-rays showed some decay under the existing fillings. I scheduled that treatment and the dentist (male) who performed both of these fillings, remarked to the assistant that they didn't have the proper size "bands" that he needed, so he rigged something he felt would work. This work was done a year to year-and-a-half ago. 2 months ago, one of the teeth he filled, broke and 3 days later I was there to have the tooth fixed. They x-rayed and advised that there was only a "shell" left! This was the same tooth that had just been reworked a year ago!! So, the only option was extraction. At the same time, I had a tooth that gave me some problems when flossing and asked the dentist to take a look at it. He stated that he could see where part of the existing filling was rough and that he could smooth it off and began to drill the area. I felt he was taking a great deal of filling off, but trusted the professional. He subsequently extracted the "shell" tooth and I went on my way. Last week, I felt a great deal of sensitivity at the tooth he had "polished" the rough filling as well as the two neighboring teeth. After continuing to both floss and brush, suddenly I have a HOLE in that filling where he "polished" the rough area. I believe that they aren't removing all decay and are intentionally filling over decay to earn repeat business. They have done far more harm to me than good. Now I don't know what to do to get them to fix a problem that they created. I feel they will have an excuse of some kind to cover their butts! My trust in this office has been severely damaged. read more
