Went to Aspen last summer, still dealing with a messed up filling from them. Dentist was super mean and dismissive. I was jabbed with a needle to numb 6-7 times. Dentist jammed wedges in my teeth aggressively, I had tears running down my face. Lack of care for their patients. On my second visit I was told I owed $1600 because they said they didn't take my insurance (after I asked numerous times if it was accepted). They told me at the second appointment, never tried to reach out to me before the appointment to inform me of the issue. The only good part was the assistant, she was kind and understanding. I also tried to get back in for the dentist to look at my messed up filling and was told they didn't have a hygienist. I told them I wanted the doctor to fix it, not a hygienist and they tried to send me to Bridgeport. They made me even more afraid of the dentist. Go to Morgantown Dental. They care and know what they are doing. ALSO they are willing to communicate to you and don't make you feel unhygienic for having bad teeth. read more

Scheduled with this office back in August for January appointment. They canceled two days and rescheduled all the way to March. Just to call and cancel days before the March appointment. I called to once again reschedule for three days following. They did not answer and never returned my voicemails. Not only is their reception clearly unprofessional but the disregard by the entire team to just toss appointments around and cancels whenever if a joke. They also will listen to your concerns and just refer you to a specialist that will find out you had no issues that Aspen believed you did and charge you an extra $400 just for going. I could probably receive better dental care from the nail Salon beside them. read more

They are horrid. Great when they want your money. Then the scheduled appts get canceled because of random equipment issues. They schedule you back to back for appointments then the person you need to do the work in on vacation. Only so many apologies work, then it gets ridiculous. This is a horrible practice that preys on patients and manipulates them into overpaying. I had a few dental cleanings and fillings from this location and my molars have not been the same after the fillings - the technician shaved them down way too much. read more

I love Dr. Mitchell. She's just great all the hygienist and x-ray people are just wonderful too. It's the office staff that is lacking any value to me they are rude and they simply don't know what the prices are of anything. Every time I go there the prices change. The office manager is very rude. She actually told me when I started asking questions about pricing on a procedure. I was having completed. She told me if I didn't like it go elsewhere and she was very rude loud talking and talked over me. If it wasn't for Dr. Mitchell and the other medically related staff members, I wouldn't continue to go there, but they're really great. The office manager can go suck bricks as far as I'm concerned. read more

I've had a broken tooth for two weeks now that was originally a small chip and now the whole back wall of the tooth has broken off. All I got was "I'm so sorry" when I showed up and they told me corporate must have done something wrong or maybe it was a computer issue. Regardless, I drove 35 miles for the mandatory cleaning before they'd schedule a repair and now the tooth is even more broken. And then to be told I didn't really make an appointment, even though I had the date and time I called to make the appointment and the phone number in my calls list. What a crock! No accountability at all, just "I'm so sorry but you don't have an appointment." This place has horrible customer service and I recommend you find services at a place that puts the patient first. This is not that place. Plus, they review all your private info right out in the middle of the waiting room in front of all the other clientele. read more

Five stars aren't enough for Dr. Mitchell -- this woman deserves a Nobel Prize in tooth wizardry. I walked into her office expecting the usual dentist dread you know, the "mouth open for an hour while contemplating all my life choices" type of experience. But nope. Dr. Mitchell turned what should have been a gum-numbing ordeal into something bordering on... fun? I don't know what kind of dental sorcery she's practicing, but I actually laughed during a cleaning. Either I've finally snapped or she's just that good. Her hands are so steady, I'm convinced she moonlights as a brain surgeon or Jenga champion. And her chair-side manner? Think Mr. Rogers, but with floss and a dental drill. Even when she was explaining cavities like I was five years old she made it sound like an adventure: "We're just going to gently clean out this little sugar goblin's hideout." Ma'am. What? Bonus points: the office smells like lavender instead of fear, the staff gives you the kind of warm welcome you'd expect from a golden retriever, and they actually play good music not that pan flute spa stuff that makes you feel like you're ascending to another realm. 10/10, would let Dr. Mitchell poke around in my mouth again. And that's not something I say lightly. read more

Never never go to #aspendental in Morgantown wv or you look like this. They are con artist. Pay $77 a month comes out bank for 10 months for extraction and partials that don't fit. Next come up with 2500 to fix front teeth. Have had This appt for over a month. We have never gotten a call or letter about $654 and I called and spoke with manager 2 times last month. She was in my account never said a word. We've heard nothing in 10 months till now. And she said " well we can't start any new work until this is paid. I said..."the $654? She said.." no all of it. I said ...how is that? They are taking the payments out of bank automatically why do I have to pay it off? .....crickets.... Ummm,I'm paying a finance company.so you already got the 1500(I have the receipt. Good: Extremely clean facility (it's a new building). Very friendly people. Bad: I take very good care of my teeth and keep up on regular exams and cleanings. The hygienist was the worst I've ever had. Nicked my gums a lot but didn't scrape teeth thoroughly, didn't get to all my teeth with polish, pinched my lips against my teeth with the tools, sprayed my face with water, I had to ask several times to rinse/spit, flossed me like she was trying to saw me in half. She was very nice - but she was a bull in a China shop. read more

It seems that the person responsible for making the dentures is either not very well trained or just poor at their job. After several visits to be fitted for a denture (spanning several weeks), I ultimately returned the denture within the hour I received them. Luckily, they gave me a full refund. Highly disappointed in the fact that we wasted so much time into getting a nice product made, only to have to return it. One of the staff members was taking to another after I requested a change to the denture and she told the other "She just has unrealistic expectations." Truly I only expected the new denture to look as good or even better than the current one that was purchased at Aspen Dental, in Elkton, Md. The one this location made, looked very poor in comparison to to the previous one. Very frustrating. read more

Quoted $151.00 to clean my inlaid dentures. After waiting for over three weeks for my appointment I arrived on time and the receptionist told me the charge was to be over three hundred dollars. I stated I had been quoted $151. She said that was only for only one set. LIKE I WOULD ONLY CLEAN EITHER MY UPPER OR LOWER AND NOT THE OTHER. The schedulers and front desk were incredibly rude so I left an honest review about their behavior and unprofessionalism. They canceled my appointments without notifying me. I still received appointment reminders the night before my visit. When I showed up, they said they canceled it due to my review. So clearly they censor all honestly when it comes to this office! If you have to go to Aspen like I do due to your insurance, just got to the Uniontown location because the Morgantown office is ran by incompetent, unprofessional, and rude staff. read more

I wish I could give no stars but here I am. Only came here because they were in my network. Or so I thought. I looked them up on the dental insurance site and health insurance site and everything; called them up and asked specifically if they take my insurance--they said yes they do. Never had a problem with them until about 6 months ago when I started to get a bill in the mail for a teeth cleaning. Apparently the person who came in and cleaned my teeth was not in within my network even though they are employeed by Aspen dental. I called my insurance to get this situated and I told them that I didn't have a choice nor did I even know who was going to be doing my teeth cleaning. Someone walked in, usually someone different every time (Apparently they can't keep people employed there) and they just started cleaning. Never have I ever had an issue with any dentist like this. But apparently they are wanting me to pay out of pocket and not work with my dental insurance to fix their mistake. I got another bill that requires them to send my insurance a copy of my xrays in order for them to pay them, and that have struggled for 6 months to get those xrays; finally, I get a letter in the mail from my dental insurance saying they are exhausted asking them over and over and that Aspen is more or less refusing to cooperate with them by sending them the xrays. When I call up and ask if they sent them off, they said it was pending. I asked them what that meant and they litterally said, "I don't know." Then they said they will have the office manager call me back, which they never did. It has been such a hassle to get them to move or do anything, in the mean time, I am stuck paying for the bills. They will screw you over any chance they get. They will say they are within your network and then not tell you that you actually aren't. They will send you to other dentists in the area and tell you that they are also in your network, when they are not. This is a business in the business of swindling money out of as many people as they can. I hear they pull this sort of thing at other locations too. Go get your teeth done from a bum in an alley--they would be more qualified for it than these people are. read more

One star only because I have to. Scheduled here because they are in network for us. I had a crown pop off last week and if you've ever had this happen, we'll you know the pain of which I speak. My husband called and scheduled for me. When he called they told him that yes, barring complications they should be able to extract the day of my appt. Well my appt was 4:30 today. It was 5pm before I hit called back for X-rays. Then I was left to sit in the exam chair until nearly 6pm when the rude snot of a hygienist came in the room and asked if I'd seen the doctor yet. No. No I had not. I asked what the plan was and told her my husband was told they should be able to extract today. Nope, "we never do that same day". So I said ok we'll I'm leaving, to which she replied in a very rude snotty tone "fine, go ahead". So I left. The girl that took the X-rays was very nice, and she told me during X-rays that they are down a dentist because one is on maternity leave and That's why they are so far behind. I asked re the extraction and she indicated "maybe, depends". Clearly these clowns KNEW I would not be treated at today's appointment last week when my husband called. They LIED just to get me in the door. Horrible, crooked practice. I do Not recommend them. read more
