They were so nice to me. I would actually go back to get my tooth cleaned next time. Lady was very calming when extracting both of my tooth.

However, today's visit was extremely disappointing. My son has special needs, and consistency and familiarity are very important for his comfort and cooperation during appointments. Despite this, he was assigned a different hygienist without any prior notice or consideration for his needs. On top of that, we were made to wait while another patient who arrived after us was taken ahead of him. There was no explanation, acknowledgment, or apology at the time. When I brought my concerns to the front desk, the only response I received was, "we dropped the ball," which felt dismissive and did not address the situation in a meaningful way. This entire experience showed a lack of communication, sensitivity, and respect for my son's needs. I truly hope this office takes feedback like this seriously and makes improvements, especially when it comes to accommodating patients with special needs. Because of this review I wrote on Google I was called and told me my husband and 4 children can't be seen at this office anymore because I blasted them to the world.

When first entering Brighton Dental, you can expect a friendly greeting from the office employees. The waiting room is equipped with a Keurig Coffee Maker, a water dispenser, and also an area for children to comfortably await their appointment, or the appointment of their guardian. The actual appointment with the dentist will surely be a pleasurable experience, well, as pleasurable of an experience one can encounter in a dental office setting. Unlike other dentist offices I have visited, Brighton Dental offers me an option to listen to my favorite bands via internet radio. The relaxing song, "Smells Like Teen Spirit", is typically what I desire when choosing the Nirvana station. A typical response from most would assume this genre of music to be too powerful. Studies have proven that specific genres of music induce relaxation, music specific to one's liking. An increase in endorphins is also prevalent, which generally assists in pain relief during more in-depth procedures. The doctor I can personally review without bias is Dr. Chalom, DDS. He not only practices in a professional manner, but also provides his patients with interesting and amusing conversation. He conveys his actions verbally if one shows signs of unease during one's procedure. It can sometimes be difficult to resist the urge of laughter whilst he describes details of his conversational material. Laughter and comedic antics are also another source of releasing endorphins. Thus, has proven to be psychologically important, as I created an extremely painful crack in my recent root canal, fault of my own, if I may add. Dr. Chalom's assistant, Ms. Vosburg (Her exact title is unknown) is a big help in continuing the conversation during times of speech restriction due to dental instruments. All in all, they have actively pursued ways to implement strategies assisting in their procedures, of which have proven to be effective. I often see children in the office during my visitation, and they show no signs of disapproval, from my perspective. As someone who cared for an autistic sibling, I know the importance of this aspect. My personal approval rating would be higher, given the opportunity to increase the star rating. Thank you, Brighton Dental Group, for eliminating the pain in my mouth, providing me with superb service, and allowing me to leave with a smile. Sincerely, 01001110S

The work they did was very good according to a couple other dentists I saw afterward. For this alone I would rate them five stars. Cons: Cost is the sole reason I left. A special 3-D scan cost $649; two other dentists I asked charged $150 and $250 for same scan and were surprised by the Brighton Dental price. On implants, the going price around WNY is $4,000-$5,000 whereas the Brighton Dental charge was $6,500. It was not a special case for an implant and I had it done elsewhere for just under $4,000. This time, not just two but three other dentists I asked about this were surprised by the Brighton Dental Group price. Also, the Brighton dentist assured me that I needed a second implant whereas two other dentists who did not know each other thought I only needed one.

I've been heading here for restorative work as my teeth were very damaged. Every receptionist and hygienist I've met has been nothing but kind and supportive. The space itself is bright, clean, and professional, and I've been able to get appointments very quickly when I need them, despite their sometimes frustratingly inconsistent hours. Unfortunately, I feel like I had to fight to get my concerns resolved and addressed. I was having tooth pain/sensitivity that was getting worse even after the restorative work started. At every appointment I asked if I should expect the pain to decrease or go away, and got brushed off by Dr. Quagliata with a "yes, it will, and if it doesn't call us and schedule another appointment." When the pain worsened the cycle just repeated. After months of appointments I'm still experiencing pain and there doesn't seem to be a plan in place going forward to treat it. I feel like she isn't really paying attention to me as a patient, just doing the required amount of work and moving on. If I was just going here for normal biannual cleanings, I'd be perfectly happy. Cleanings have been smooth, easy experiences. Again, the staff have been so receptive and polite every time I go there. Sadly the fact that I regularly feel dismissed when I bring up my concerns is making me consider switching to a different dentist.

My experience left me highly skeptical that their priorities might lie more with procedures (and profits) than with true patient care. Specifically, Dr. Quagliata recommended an extensive treatment plan--numerous crowns and extractions--without a clear explanation of why they were necessary. Thankfully, I sought a second opinion elsewhere. The dentist I saw afterward took X-rays and determined that I had only two small cavities that could be treated with simple fillings--not the eight crowns (and extractions!) suggested at Smylique. If you're considering Smylique, please proceed with caution and strongly consider getting a second opinion before committing to major dental work. Your smile--and your wallet--may thank you.

After a nightmare of events in Seattle, WA, my failed root canal due to a furnication perforation…read more(ie. caused by the endodontist) ended up not being able to be saved so I had my tooth extracted by Dr. Brodine. While waiting for the bone to heal back, my molar repositioned and shifted forward, making it impossible to place a crown in the location my tooth was previously extracted. Therefore, Dr. Brodine referred me to Dr. Wood, to have my last molar realigned in order to be able to fit an implant crown adjacent to it. Dr. Wood's office is extremely aesthetic, clean and inviting. I felt at ease going into every appointment knowing that I would be taken care of. The moment you step in, you're greeted at the front desk and shortly afterwards you are brought back. I love how there's barely any wait time and you get seen on time. I worked primarily with Bethany who has excellent bedside manner and was always very patient with answering any questions I had. Dr. Wood is also very kind, invited questions and made sure I understood what we were doing. They turned an unfortunate experience and made it into a good one. At this practice, you will feel heard and understood. I grind a lot at night so I was given an aligner with biocryl (thicker material) once my attachments came off. It's really nice how the attachments I received are very discrete and nobody noticed them unless they worked in the dental field. This is something that's extremely important especially as an adult requiring orthodontics. After ~10 months of treatment, the gap where my tooth was extracted was large enough where my prosthodontist was able to put in a crown. I highly recommend Dr. Wood and her practice. As someone who has never had any orthodontic procedures performed before, Dr. Wood and her team made me feel at ease. Thank you so much Dr. Wood and Bethany!

It never cured properly and I'm now living with swelling and pain every day in my lower jaw. Also, there's a huge gaping hole in my gums. A year later and after already paying in full, I've been to three different dentists for exams and told that I will now need to pay an additional thousands of dollars to have my gum recession fixed as a result of the botched resetting. I reached out to the office and they refuse to take any accountability. If I had to do it again, I'd NEVER choose this place. To be fair, it seemed like the office manager, Dana, was going to be willing to help me out but then Alf Bunes intervened and refused. I had interactions with other staff members, including Dr. Grassi, and it's possible that if it were him doing the procedure, it might have gone more smoothly. Unfortunately, I'll never know. The bottom line is that I'm suffering and having to spend thousands of dollars more on this whole thing than I should because of the shoddy work. Take accountability for your actions!

I took time off work twice to come in for 2 appointments that both never happened due to the office staff not communicating, and prescribing incorrect medications. They never even mumbled an apology, or took any ounce of responsibility, rather just stared blankly at me when I attempted to advocate for myself. It was not until i requested to speak to the provider/doctor that I was actually heard. There was zero accountability and responsibility on the office staff, who are the face of the practice, and the first interaction with clients. It is a wonder how this practice retains clients as each experience I've had here has been a nightmare with these rude front desk workers. In an attempt to save future clients from the same unacceptable, poor service I received, I will be reaching out to my dentist to recommend they discontinue making referrals for Roc Pointe. Extremely unprofessional and not acceptable in the healthcare field. Save your time and money, go literally anywhere else. *Note: Dr. Bunes was kind enough to waive the consultation fee due to this experience, but after already paying at the front before, when I went back to get it refunded I was again, met with hostility and passive aggressiveness from office manager, Dayna, and Jazea, who refused to even look or speak back to me.
