My son has been a patient at this dental office for quite some time, and we've usually had positive experiences, especially with his regular dental hygienist. However, today's visit was extremely disappointing. My son has special needs, and consistency and familiarity are very important for his comfort and cooperation during appointments. Despite this, he was assigned a different hygienist without any prior notice or consideration for his needs. On top of that, we were made to wait while another patient who arrived after us was taken ahead of him. There was no explanation, acknowledgment, or apology at the time. When I brought my concerns to the front desk, the only response I received was, "we dropped the ball," which felt dismissive and did not address the situation in a meaningful way. This entire experience showed a lack of communication, sensitivity, and respect for my son's needs. I truly hope this office takes feedback like this seriously and makes improvements, especially when it comes to accommodating patients with special needs. Because of this review I wrote on Google I was called and told me my husband and 4 children can't be seen at this office anymore because I blasted them to the world. read more

My family was informed we no longer were able to be seen in the office due to the secretaries messing up with an appointment for my autistic son. Dr. Nozik saw me the same day for tooth pain and worked around my schedule to do a root canal. I'm very busy so I couldn't afford to take time off and I couldn't just let the pain get worse. This was my first root canal so I was very nervous, but honestly, it did not hurt at all. I was back to work that afternoon with minimal discomfort. The staff is also very courteous, professional, and friendly. I've had traumatic experiences at the dentist's office before but in two visits I completely trust Dr. Nozik and his employees. My wife and I go to White Spruce Dental. The staff are super friendly and they are great about reminding me when my next appointment is coming up. I alway have come out with good service when going in. I had to change hygienist about 8 months ago and the new person I got was just as good as my previous one. This practice was willing to lose business over an unjust $30 charge. They will nickel and dime patients for any and every little thing they possibly can. $178 for a routine cleaning, + a copayment, and then slapped on an additional 3ed charge for the dentist to look at your teeth (in my case) no longer than 45 seconds, tops! The staff (for the exception of my dental hygienist) is extremely cold, dismissive, and rude! They've blocked me from leaving a review on their website; this is the reason why you'll only see reviews of 4-5 stars. So if your review of their practice is anything other than favorable, they will block you from leaving it. On February, 23, 2022 the office manager of White Spruce Dental posted a reply to a review I left through a website other than their company's website. This office manager claimed that a refund check was issued and sent out to me via postal service--that was a flat out lie. I have proof of all this and am willing to submit all of it. read more

I've been to several dentists only to have to stop treatment in mid-air due to not being able to afford the treatment plans. Other dentists were using up my insurance and I still couldn't smile. I had my first appointment today as a new patient and was very impressed. The lobby is very welcoming and comfortable. The staff are very welcoming and professional. Dr. Nozik does great work and is extremely thorough. He also does a great job explaining the health of your teeth and, if necessary, setting out a plan to get your teeth in better shape. Lisa was a very helpful assistant who did my x-rays. Jana was a very competent and thorough hygienist who did my cleaning. I highly recommend this office to anyone. Clean and Pleasant appearing lobby. They are generally on time and the dental services are modern and use the most recent technology. I have had crowns done all in one day and with minimal discomfort. They lose one star as my husband has had multiple issues where they have billed services incorrectly and there was quite a delay in getting it corrected (not necessarily all their fault). read more

My sister recommended White Spruce Dental to us a few years ago, and both my husband and I have had some major dental proceedures. Recently I became very ill with a tooth infection that seemed to have spread to my face. I have honestly never had such horrible pain, and I've had kidney stones! Dr. Nozik was great about seeing me right away, following up with me, and after antibiotics ( once I could open my mouth‍), started a root canal. He and one of the assistants (sorry, I forgot your name‍) gave up their lunch to fit me in their already packed schedule, and were just so sweet about it. They were patient and kind, knowing that I have anxiety about going to the dentist, and did everything in their power to give me relief. I highly recommend this practice! White Spruce Dental, by far the most wonderful dental offices I've ever had the pleasure of being treated at. For starters, the office staff was probably the most pleasant and caring people I've ever met. Im sure there are many people who are not to fond of dental work, myself included. Although, I must say, I walked in nervous but within minutes I was put at ease. Seeing other patients walking in and walking out happy and smiling was a big sign that this was going to be a good experience and sure enough, it was I was treated by Dr. John Tumminelli and he was caring, funny and instantly, you could tell patients care was his main priority. Sadly, it's very rare to find these days and I'm so lucky I came across this dental office. Everything was explained to me before beginning any treatment which put me more at ease and because of such a wonderful experience I will never go elsewhere! I had a great experience at White Spruce Dental. My first visit was extremely thorough. They took x-rays, did a gum exam, and also took actual pictures. The hygienist spent a while going through the results of each part of the exam, highlighting areas of concern. My only surprise was that they required a second appointment to do the cleaning. I didn't remember being told that when I scheduled the appointment. This is the only reason they didn't receive 5 stars. I did see the dentist today when I went back for my cleaning who again reviewed the results of my exam and laid out a "dental plan" / wish list. Himself and the hygienist made it a point to emphasize they understood it couldn't all be done at once and stated it didn't need to be. They let me know which ones were the priority. The hygienist was very very good. I felt she did an awesome job on the cleaning and was also fun person. She made an appointment for about 6 weeks out for me to come back to see if the suggestions she made were improving the health of my teeth and gums. The front office staff was good too. They laid out all the costs if my upcoming work and let me know what they anticipate the insurance to cover and what I would have to pay. They have multiple payment options. They have a no interest credit card or an office payment plan if you can't pay up front for the services. All in all I would recommend this place to anyone! The staff are patient, understanding and highly capable. The dentists, and in particular, Dr. Tumminelli use the most up to date equipment and practices. The office is extremely clean and the patient rooms are comfortable and relaxing. Mary has cleaned my teeth for several years and I credit her and Dr. Tumminelli with the excellent condition of my teeth. When I have had work done, it is always with the utmost care and competence and I have never been unsatisfied with any procedure that was done. Staff maintain their knowledge and skills through continued education and training. I would never consider going to another dentist. When you find the best, you stay with them! You see..... White Spruce Dental is wonderful. Unlike other dentists, they are not pushy about giving you treatments or procedures you don't need. All the staff was wonderful- from the moment you walk in the front door, everyone was friendly and took the time to explain what they were doing. The dentist and X-ray technician were great. The best, though, was the cleaning - The dental hygienist did an amazing job, especially compared to other dental hygienists out there. I was very unhappy with the dishonest answers and charges I received from this dentist. I had asked prior to services about the cost and was told and given written acknowledgement that insurance covered 100%. I was asked to pay upfront and then have insurance reimburse me. The insurance didn't even cover 50% of my procedure!!! When I inquired if there was an error, it was very apparent that they know the dentist charges more than twice what insurance will cover and they don't tell you that, but make sure they get their money first. I will never use this dentist again!!!! I refuse to do business with people who lie and are deceitful!! I asked and was lied to about the cost twice!!! Beware!!! read more
