We met with the Dr. O and his team, discussed my daughter case, and they were clear that she does not need to come back into the office. The Dentist planned out how my daughter will be scheduled at the surgery center at Children's Hospital and his team will reach out to me to schedule a date and time. We met in February, I was told the only earliest and available appointment at the surgery center will be at the end of July 2025. I was okay with it, just wanted my daughter to get the proper treatment asap. In April of 2025, I received a phone call to confirm the appointment at the surgery center at Children's Hospital via patient portal and confirmation by phone with his staff. I received a scheduled document of what to expect and time surgery takes place, time I should bring her in prior the surgery time. We waited for this day, she missed out on her last day of school, I missed work, and the surgery center told us my daughter was not scheduled to complete any procedure. I showed them the scheduled letter I received from her dental office. They recommended me to call my pediatric dentist office. I called the dental office, asking them about our appointment at the surgery center. The receptionist, "Kenzie" told me the appointment was under "pending," because I never confirmed with them since I took my daughter in February. I specifically told them their staff called me to confirm the date and time after our face-to-face appointment in the spring. Kenzie looked back to the last communication they had with me, told me "Yes, looks like someone called you in April about the appointment." She then said she can look and see if their is any "emergency surgery" appointment available, then said, " Well, looks like there is nothing open." I requested for the dentist or owner to call me back as my time was wasted, my daughter's condition is worsening as days go by. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL dentist and facility!!!! DON'T RECOMMENDED to NO FAMILIES! They are rude, especially the dentist calling back to put the blame back at me, repeating " I have not communicated and confirmed!" Dr. "O," and his unprofessionalism, does not look into solving the problem as trying to reschedule another appointment or apologize to how long they made us waited, instead he only wants me to go through my call log to make sure they are the one who called me! Excused me! As a parent who waited for a year for this referral, 5 MONTHS for this appointment, this is the only clinic we have visited since February 2025 and planned out her appointment to happen this July. I am not here to pick fight with the unprofessional who thinks he has a case to fight; I too work in the health industry as well, who his advocating for my child's wellbeing and had trusted in your plan of care for my child. Dr. O, owner of your own business, if you are really here for your community and care for children's dental health as much as you addressed on your core values of your company, PERFORM! Your actions and professionalism are narcissistic; I do not recommend this dentistry to no community; this dentistry has NO RESPECT, NO PROFESSIONALISM, NO DIGNIFIED CARE & COMPASSION at their job and work! Dr. Gorman and his staff have always been very understanding and have catered to my mistrust from bad experiences, and he's extremely knowledgable when it comes to recommendations on what you actually need. These guys will genuinely do what's best for you and your health, and that type of focus on the patient is hard to come by. Also a big plus for giving me personalized advice on preventative care. I'm finally on a daily floss/brush/mouthwash regimen that actually works for me and keeps my mouth clean and healthy. One more big plus because he's a big baseball guy, allowing me to have a friendly heated debate about something that isn't just about my teeth.

My hygienist Crystal is gentle and lets me choose the flavor of my toothpaste and fluoride. We are similar in age so we like to chat about music and TV shows of the 80s/ 90s. A childhood stroll down memory lane which getting my teeth sparkly. Of course I've had other hygienists over the years and have never had a "rough" cleaning. Also many dentist's have worked in my mouth. From my childhood dentist Dr. Marvin (PD Silver Lake), to the late Dr. Kaatz (crowns and fillings), to Dr. Lutterman (crown) and currently Dr. Nguyen (crown and nightguard). I don't mind anesthetic but the vibration of the "drill" is annoying. They let me bring in my own earphones so I can listen to music while they are working. My last couple of appointments seem to fly by. And Dr. Nguyen is so kind and compassionate. And gentle when giving anesthetic...I didn't even feel it. She cares about doing quality work and made sure I was happy with the feel of my new crown/ nightguard. At my last crown visit they used a silicone suction device that kept my tongue and cheek out of the way. It also gave me something to bite on so my mouth wouldn't get tired from staying open. That was awesome! As much as I don't want dental work, I would like for that to be used again if needed. I have already recommended this clinic (and other locations of this company) to friends and family. They all seem to be satisfied with the care they receive too!

The first time I visited, they said they found some jaw bone misalignment on my X-ray, and referred me immediately to a specialist. PCD's X-Ray/conclusion turned out to be incorrect. Also, during a cleaning, one dentist said that everything looked fine and I didn't have any cavities. But then the next doctor swooped in and was like, "you need a filling". Ugh. Lastly, I needed a thick bite guard made for my TMJ, but instead I received a thin retainer, even though I have straight teeth. The hygienist was even confused by the discrepancies of the notes made by different doctors on my file. Oh, and one time I checked in and was waiting for a little while, when the receptionist called me on my cell phone to tell me I was late to my appointment. That one is actually kinda funny (but kinda not).

For my actual appointment, they offered me luxurious amenities from an entire menu! l got the heated neck pillow and headphones with cable TV, and they even surprised me with a smoothie afterwards! The results from my first appointment have been incredible and far exceeded any expectations I had. She even lied to me when I told her I would be paying out of pocket as they were not covered under my insurance. She told me that paying out of pocket for out of network care was committing fraud. Which is not only stupid, but incorrect. A simple google search will tell you that is wrong, you can seek care wherever you want as long as they don't try to bill your insurance if they are out of network.
