Advertised $299 for replacement dentures. During the confirmation of the appointment the gentleman on the phone stated he would make sure to apply the promotion during the visit. We read the reviews and made sure to ask for written estimates before commencement of any work. When we got the estimates the cheapest option for dentures was over $1300 (we even asked that they apply our insurance to get a better rate). When the add was mentioned we were told they don't have that special, we even showed them a print screen and would not honor their advertisement. SCAM ADVERTISEMENT! Don't waste your time, they don't honor. Not sure if they do quality work but if we can't trust them from the beginning it's probably not worth it. read more

Beware! Charges for services before they are done and doesn't even tell you that is what you're being charged for!! Made an appointment for a cleaning and to talk to someone about my jaw pain. They took the usual X-rays and I was told I needed a $400 mouth guard and had to reschedule for a cleaning. I went to schedule my cleaning and pay for my visit ($150). Then when I returned for the cleaning I was given a paper to sign consenting to a filling and $400 mouth guard! I refused the filling and the mouth guard and told them I was only there for a cleaning. Then I was told I would have to wait an hour for the cleaning which I wasn't about to do. THEN I found out a year later that the $150 I was charged was for the filling and the cleaning!! They scheduled me for a filling and charged me for it without me even knowing! They never even mentioned it! Then tried to get me to agree to a mouth guard I specifically said I was not going to do. read more

They will have you sign lots of forms and then you will get your cleaning, X-rays, fluoride gel, irrigations and anything else they can charge during the visit. The attorny general needs to look into their business practices and I would suggest a class action law suit is needed. This business does not tell you pricing upfront and sells you items you do not need. Went for exam. After Xrays (great technician) dentist came in, took a look around, and told me that I needed a crown to repair a tooth that lost its filling the week before. Never gave me any other treatment options. Just the most expensive, and one that my insurance does not cover, to the tune of $1600...anyway, they scheduled me for a cleaning and subsequent fillings for two small cavities that were soon to appear. I showed up for the 8:00 AM appointment for the cleaning. Others went in with the hygienist and I was kept waiting. I left at 8:30 after I realized that either they had double booked or just did not want to do the promised cleaning. This place was as bad as dealing with a used car outfit. They never contacted me after I left; my only conclusion is that they never wanted to perform the service in the first place. Not very accommodating, I also work in healthcare and our doctors always go out of their way to make our patients feel comfortable and to make sure they have the best experience possible. After waiting a month for an appointment, taking the day off from work, I arrive 18 minutes late soaking wet due to a heavy thunderstorm and traffic just to be told they can't see me. On top of that you have to pay upfront to even schedule an appointment for treatment and I still received a bill in the mail. When you work in healthcare and you visit other practices you can tell when a office opens to make money or when a practice actually cares about its patients. Out of sight, out of mind. Husband went to this office 1st & raved about it. He had thousands of dollars in work done over a few positive visits, so I switched dental offices as well since we always go to the same doctors to make life easier to manage with appointments. They treat you 5 stars in person. Perhaps for general dental checkups & work you may love it. The problem is if you do aligners like me, you're basically on your own & have to hound them to get anything done. On my 1st visit I agreed to do THEIR version of invisalign, Motto. It was just under $5k for my teeth, others may vary. Open a care credit card they said, done. All signed up & financed, then I get a random bill for $48 which I questioned. Hunter at the office is wonderful & said dont worry about it, I will take care of it, but I still receive the bill in the mail regularly even though I'm paying for a product I don't have! I'm so sad. Ive wanted aligners for YEARS. Finally took the plunge, got 5 trays in, and my 6th tray did not fit so they scheduled an appt for 9/1. Because I've learned not to trust them, I called the day prior to confirm the trays were there - nope & not even a call to tell me don't miss work for this. They had me scheduled to put on the anchors which hold the trays in place - which I've had on since April! I feel completely taken for a ride & captive because these are my teeth & time and money but they don't seem interested anymore. It is 25 days later & not even a call to update me. I'm supposed to need about 20 trays, I'm on 5 & the Dental Monitoring app sends me weekly reminders to do my scans for a tray I never received! When I ask why they keep asking if they work on behalf of the dental office they state they don't always communicate. I'm extremely bummed & want it to be over. They offered me freebies but I just want what I'm literally paying for! We have bills like every other working class family: mortgage, 2 kids with a 3rd now on the way & he will likely be here before I'm done with braces which should have finished around new years. The office was clean and all precautions were taken during this pandemic. No complaints there. Dr, Griffee told me I needed a CROWN. I was sent to another room to get the fees. The first quote was $1600. When I wasn't on board, she conveniently offered a coupon. I then asked can you do better? Well, the $1600 became $1118.00 after "checking" twice for a coupon. GOOD THING I went to Anderson Dental for another consult. Not only did I NOT NEED A CROWN, I needed a filling for under $200. It makes me wonder how many people have been played. VERY DISAPPOINTED, taking advantage of patients especially in a pandemic is inexcusable. Why not give all your patients the coupon price first? When i first went I thought this place was great, it has been over two months and they have canceled every appointment due to staffing issues, I called three weeks ago and spoke with Hunter about the results from the oral surgeon they sent me to, he said the doctor is in a procedure and would call me back in 30 minutes, here we are three weeks later and I call today , the person says he is with a patient we close in an hour I don't think he will call you today but will call you first thing Monday morning. I went to this office because my previous dentist became a shyster. I hadn't been to a dentist the entire year and had all my benefits available. I explained I would like to use them up before the end of the year for a crown I needed. They said "sure no problem" then it was deep cleaning which cost me out of pocket almost $900 using up most of my annual benefit ( note that my previous dentist had done the deep cleaning a year ago and my policy only pays for it once every 2 years.) "Sure no problem we will get the crown done on this years plan." well they sent the mold out to get the crown made and low and behold it wasn't ready by end of year. After their deep cleaning I misteriously had a really bad cracked tpith starting to abscess and they wanted to pull that tooth and the one next to it because there was a small cavity in it. (Bite me, pull the one tooth) So when they called me in to install the crown in January it didn't fit properly so they sent it back and I finally got it put in in February. Every time I would go to there office they would say "you have a copay of $X. I would pay it and then 2 weeks later get a bill from them for non covered expenses from my policy. These people constantly stringing you along and then sending you an additional amount due. For Christ's sake just tell people what they owe when they are in your office- you are suppose to be the professionals in contact with the insurance company. WHY CANT YOU GET IT RIGHT!!!! Now your company looks to be as corrupt as the one I left before. Thanks for the ride but I'll be getting off now. Office manager never showed face or apologized for their lack of organization. Trying to initiate a refund was just as bad of an experience as well. I started this journey as one of my New Year's resolutions for 2018. I had a scare (near death) in November whereas I was chewing a chicken nugget with my horrible teeth, and when I swallowed I evidently wasn't chewing my food as needed and had to give myself the Heimlich maneuver as no one was home and I was rapidly losing all my air. I will spare you the details on that situation, but that lead me to finally committing to getting my teeth fixed. I made an appointment online via Aspen Dental web site. My appointment was made easily, and I was off to my biggest fear (the Dentist) I went in for the initial consultation with Dr. Emily, she spent time examining my mouth as well as explaining my options. Doc Emily asked if I wanted to save the teeth that I had left in my mouth (approx. 23) for partials, that sounded like a plan, but she then took it a step further and advised me that I am still young (48) and if any of the teeth that she saved and used as anchors, could fail, and we would be at square 1, so we decided that we were to pull them all. After explaining in depth what to expect going forward, we made an appointment for the extractions. Now prior to that they did take a mold of my mouth for the temporary teeth I would be receiving after the extractions. I went to my appointment and the whole staff could not have been any nicer or understanding as to what I was going through in my mind. They brought me in the room that I have been terrified of for 30 + years, and started working. My mouth was strategically injected with nova cane (they gave me the max allowed) throughout my gum line, and then the pulling began. Now, don't think for 1 second in this review that I was calm, and I felt absolutely nothing, that would be a lie. I did feel the Doc pulling on the teeth, but not pain, just pressure, as far as calm, they do give you a prescription for a low dose of Xanax to take the edge off. We then got to a point where my nova cane was wearing off, and they could not give me anymore that day, we made a follow up appointment for the next morning (NOT THE NORM). I went and finished my extractions, and minutes after they were pulled, here comes my (new) teeth. Now mind you, the temporary dentures they give you are in no way shape or form the dentures you will have at the end of the process (6 months for the mouth to fully heal). So I had my temp dentures in my mouth and went home. This was a Friday that I took off from work, with the weekend to heal. There were some times that the throbbing from the extractions was uncomfortable, but 2400 milligrams of ibuprofen coupled with some ice pops helped with the discomfort. It took about a week to 10 days until I even tried eating anything of substance. I was eating soft foods and shakes, which also helped with losing a bonus 10 lbs. After an immediate follow up appointment on the following Monday, I was given a clean bill of health as it related to my extractions (no dry sockets) All the employees were super Nice and very informative as it pertained to looking ahead. I did need to go back maybe 3 times in the 6 months after, for some routine retooling of the temps, each time the staff were amazing and welcoming. So fast forward to August 2018 (6 months) again prior to august, I went in for an appointment to pick the shade of white for my permanent dentures, as well as the size of the actual teeth, very easy and painless as well, when they brought out my dentures to me, I was like a kid opening a new lease on life, a way to a healthier me. Since august, I have been to the office exactly 1 time, for an adjustment. I can honestly say to you all today that Aspen Dental helped me change my life, I was always an outgoing Italian from Brooklyn, but when my teeth were in shambles I became more of a Recluse, which is totally out of character for me. The whole process with Aspen Dental was literally a Pleasure, no one would ever describe going to a dentist as a Pleasure, but it was. I recommend this Aspen Dental office (Royal Palm Beach FL) to all whom read this review, if you are tired of looking at your mouth in the mirror, do something about it, MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WITH THIS OFFICE, AND YOU WILL BE ON YOUR WAY TO A HEALTHY SMILE, AND CONFIDENCE WILL BE RESTORED. Horrible place.I wanted a deep cleaning didn't get one after she told me my mouth would be numb and that I should eat before because it would take time.Well they finished in about half an hour and my insurance as well as the cash they milked me for was not worth it since I had to go to another dentist.The only true thing they told me was that I didn't have cavities but didn't fix a teeth that a chipped opening a beer bottle.I will never go back to this gross,dated,unprofessional and lacking ethics place.Im gonna call my insurance and tell them about it. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!The people in here are very inexperienced they are just here to take your money! First of all I have never been to a dentist who took my blood pressure. Secondly, every person who walks in this place the dentist claims to have periodontitis or needs dentures. Also, there are no certificates on the walls. I came in for a teeth cleaning and they told me the first visit is just for consultation. Then after my appointment I had to wait on the manager who was speaking with other customers about their periodontitis treatment plan. Anyone tempted to use this dental company I advise you contact the Better Business Bureau in Amhurst NY before making an appointment. I also recommend googling the reviews prior. If I had, I would have saved myself misery. I now have to go to another dentist to fix my problem that I did not have prior to using Aspen Dental. I'm going to be sincerely honest..... Booking a new appointment was very easy...... Receptionists and staff were very friendly and professional...... Dental hygiene technician was very informative and knowledgeable....... Dentist was very friendly and professional and gave a thorough explanation of my medical condition....... Marketing manager was nice and sweet but unfortunately their pricing was ridiculous and unreasonable for anyone! Even with my good dental insurance it seems it doesn't matter the charge is sky high regardless a copay of $600. At first I was impressed. Then I had a bridge done and I have been suffering for awhile and went to a periodontist who told me my bite was way off and hurting the rest of my teeth. I kept telling them that I felt it was put in wrong now I have verification. They let me suffer blaming bone loss. Completely agree with the majority of reviews I've seen for this place. All they want is your money, and they'll incorrectly bill your insurance to their benefit so you have to come back and pay full costs. They are unprofessional and the girl at the front is lazy and always looks pissed and bothered. When she told me she was "looking into" a mistake they made she left and took over 15+ minutes and even when she came back she didn't even acknowledge me. They don't care about their appearance and it is true, all they want is your money. I took all my records out of there and am not going back. I don't recommend this place. Be careful, they want to give you treatments you don't need and throw on a bunch of extras that aren't necessary. It included add ones such as a $200 electric toothbrush, etc. I went to get a second opinion from another doctor who told me all I need is two regular cleanings and I am done $20 after insurance.
