I visited as a new patient and I was not impressed... nothing particularly bad happened, but it just felt SO impersonal and rushed... like a dentist factory where you are the product. After my exam the assistant said we'll have you wait in this room so you're more comfortable and then made me sit in a freezing cold uncomfortable room while I waited to speak to the office manager about my insurance. I scheduled an appointment as a new patient at this location. I chose this because they offered an evening appointment that was convenient for my work schedule and location. I received a confirmation phone call from Sophia the day before. Her call came in on a blocked number so I didn't answer. When I checked the voicemail and called back, it went to a standard voicemail with no identifying information for the business (to be honest, it sounded like a cell phone voicemail) so I didn't leave a message. I immediately called the phone number listed online for the office where I scheduled my appointment. I spoke with an individual who confirmed my appointment for tonight. I drove to the office and walked in. The young man behind the desk looked as if he couldn't be bothered, didn't greet me with a hello, and simply asked for my name. I gave it to him and he couldn't find me. He then asked for my phone number and proceeds to say, "Since we didn't receive verbal confirmation of your appointment, it was cancelled and given to someone else". I told them that I did confirm it over the phone with an agent. His response was, "You must have spoken to the call center. They don't send us any information". So I drove all the way to the office after getting off work to be rudely treated and greeted by "Hey! Your appointment was given away because we as a business can't communicate with each other effectively". I will NEVER return or use ANY Aspen Dental. I would rather let me teeth fall out of my head and have to drink all my foods than go through this. I would not recommend them based in this initial experience as a new potential patient. read more

I would NOT recommend! Dr Hodges is very incompetent! He caused TMJ in my jaw by forcing my jaw upon during a removal of a tooth. I could not open my mouth wide enough to eat a banana! I goofed around for 2 months with Dr Hodges and Aspen... because they wouldn't address my issue! He refused to give me a referral - even to just have my jaw looked at! And on top of all that - their own oral surgeon LIED to me about what happened! These are grounds for a malpractice lawsuit!!! I had to see my medical doctor to get the help I needed for the TMJ. -- Worst. Dental. Experience. Ever. Please don't go there! Trying to set up extractions and dentures on both upper and lowers and was even going to do the anesthesia. I spent 2 and a half hours on hold and they hung up on me 5 times and then I went to the building only to sit there for an hour while someone said "we will be with you soon"! I have suffered since August 2023 because I chose Aspen Dental. I have lost 30 pounds because I can not chew food. I was told they could pull some bottom front teeth without an oral surgery, so I let them remove the teeth. Extrememly traumatic pulling teeth with me crying out the whole time. Extreme pain following procedure for weeks and weeks. I had to have 2 oral surgeries (by an oral surgeons in adifferent practice to repair what they did to my mouth. Often unable to get through to their office and they always say their corporate is having some phone issues. Appointments cancelled 15 minutes before I was supposed to be there, Do not allow yourself to get any kind of treatment here. read more

Funny how your whole page of reviews is people expressing their bad experiences and your response to all is "i am sorry". Absolutely nightmare!!! I received a voicemail a day before my appointment to give a verbal confirmation and a automated text to reply with "C" to confirm. I call but was on hold a a long time, so i replied to the text instead. Well the day of my appointment i was told the appointment was take off the schedule because i didn't confirm it. I explained that i did confirm the text. Receptionist said it has to be verbal and that is their policy. I rearranged my whole day for this appointment and was not seen. The purpose of my visit was for X-ray, cleaning and have the dentist fill out my military dental form. Please don't bother responding that you are sorry just do better to prevent situations like this. You have no idea how people's life's are structured. I called and was given an 8:30 appointment but when I showed up I was told that "The call center doesn't have our schedule " and the first they could see me, even though it was an emergency, was 2 weeks out. My daughter drove an hour to get there only to be told because she is 20 she does not qualify for the 1st free exam. The woman at the front desk was very rude about it. When we made the appointment I told the guy that she was 20 and he said either her insurance will work or if there is a problem it is a free 1st visit for new customers. listen. nobody likes going to the dentist. and the staff is generally fine. but I've had the worst experience, lack of belief that I'm experiencing pain or going to. I don't even trust that they are diagnosing things well. they had me in the chair for 3+ hrs instead of the 1~ I was told, they injured my soft pallet and I couldn't eat for a week because it hurt so much. then the crown didn't fit and I had to do it all over again. I lost all trust and am pulling my family from care. the crown is still not quite right and I'd rather live my life with an edge than ever go back for two appointments to get it fixed. terrible experience. not trauma informed. read more

Aspen Dental told my partner that he would need each and every last tooth pulled with full dentures. Fortunately we got a second opinion, and will be able to save about half of them, and he'll need partials. These folks are there for a money-grab and are not looking out for the patient. The owner and main dentist of this place is a crook. I have plenty of issues with my teeth but I went in to see this guy when I was having an infection in one. He was in the room with me for no more than 2 minutes and basically told me known were worth saving and I should get them all pulled. Didn't want to take the time to even explain what was going on. Had no interest in talking to me about the infection that I originally went in for. I knew my uppers really did have to be replaced but my lowers seemed okay. I went for a 2nd opinion and they told me the lowers look just fine and I shouldn't do anything except maintenance. Ended up going back again because I still had the infection and it was incredibly painful. The other doctor, who was brand new to the profession I'm guessing, was no better than the Owner. She basically told me that they wanted everything or they wanted nothing. All the staff there was great but the 2 dentists I don't trust and again the owner I would call a crook. read more

Went in for a quick appointment in the morning for something that was bothering me. Arrived at the clinic and everyone was very nice and welcoming they got me back within about 5 mins of my appointment time and doctor seen me right away. Was very knowledgeable on the questions I had and made me feel very comfortable. Can't wait to come back for my full exam. read more

The dentist laughed at me for forgetting to check a box, the hygienist gave me attitude for no reason other then I was quiet. The lady who took me back seemed nice until she made a remark that's let's say was extremely unprofessional. Will note this unprofessionalism to the city council. By far one of the worst Dental experiences I have ever had. I had not been to a dentist in about five years and was starting to have some tooth pain and I made an appointment with Aspen as this was the quickest I could get into. When I first got there the receptionist was rude, the hygienist that was helping me was very nice and efficient with getting my x-rays completed that was the only benefit of this visit. When the dentist Dr. Khan came in he looked at my x-rays and looked at my mouth briefly and told me that I would need 4 root canals with crowns and that I had severe gingivitis. It had been awhile since I've been to the dentist so I expected to need to have some work done especially on the one tooth that was hurting but I was not expecting 4 teeth and I had no concerns of gingivitis. When it came to my billing they told me that it would be $4,500 after my insurance that I would have to pay out-of-pocket. Because they said I had gingivitis I decided to go to another dentist to get another consult and was told that I have one tooth that has a cavity and will need a root canal and I will not need any other cavities filled and I do not have gingivitis. I was extremely disappointed in the fact that they lied about my health care and how the whole facility was so mechanic it was not personal at all and it made it hard considering I hate the dentist to begin with and as a side note the dentist smelled really bad I would not have been able to sit there and let him work on my mouth. read more
