Solid Dentistry place. I found this place and decided to book an appointment because you can do so online which is a convenient option AND they have multiple offices in multiple states which is handy. Got in the same day. Reception staff was friendly and after 15 minutes in their waiting room they had me running the circuit getting X-rays and all that. The dentist Mr. Lao was good at going over all the results and explained everything to me. Had to wait until the next week to to get in with the hygenist to get my cleaning although that was mainly due to my own schedule. Next visit went equally well, they take lunch at 1pm so I was able to run over from work and get my cleaning in. The hygenist was super friendly but took a little longer because she was doing a whitening on on my neighbor at the same time. Overall it took about an hour to get in and out for the cleaning but it'd probably be closer to 40-45 normally. Overall I liked this place and would come back. read more

They do not stand by there warranties. I have had my dentures for about three years and I have had 4 different teeth come out of the denture HAVE BEEN CHARGERS FOR THE LAST TWO paid over $8000.00 you would think this would not happen this soon and if it does Aspen would stand by there work. They are high pressure salesmen. They wanted me NOT to use my insurance and take their deal. Never even got my teeth cleaned! Their so-called deal was $3150.00 - what a disgrace. My dentist was very nice, very knowledgeable not to mention devilishly handsome he took the time to value me as a patient and was able to handle my extraction same day! He even gave me a complimentary filling for all the trouble I experienced with my local Fremont Aspen! Didn't even feel the poke with the anesthesia! I scheduled a deep cleaning which I never had done. Was still charged for the procedure on my credit for over $1900. The credit company sent me a bill. Aspen said 10 days to clear up but won't pay any interested accrued. I was charged before the procedure ever happened. If something happened to me who would be responsible? Bad experience all the way around. Avoid. read more

The best staff and quality of care I've ever experienced !!!! They really make you feel so comfortable, I drive Al the way from Amherst to Sandusky just bc I finally found a dentist / office that checks all the boxes !! From ease of scheduling, to helping out w payment plans, to making you just feel like family. Now I have had a couple bad experiences here in the past ( years ago ) but it's a whole diff staff and that truly makes all the diff. I have had several bad experiences at the Aspen Dental. Having said this I also had a good experience with the dentist on duty. Let me explain. After much thought and discussion I decided to splurge and have my teeth whitened professionally. I was scheduled for a teeth whitening and got a call confirmation my appointment. I checked in on time and was told the procedure would take 1 to 1 1/2 hours so I told my husband to pick me up in an hour or so. I waited in the waiting room for about 20 minutes before I was called in by the hygienist who told me she couldn't do the job as she didn't have the product to do the job because she didn't pick it up from another location. She rescheduled me for the next day. I had to wait on my husband to come back to pick me up. I returned the next day. This time I did get in within 15 minutes or so. However, she couldn't get the blue light to work so after several tries, what was supposed to be a professional in office whitening turned into a take home job instead. This is the worst dental experience ever, they don't even deserve 1 star. My 70-year-old father went to Aspen to get his false teeth, he paid for everything and they said no matter what they would get it right, he drove from Norwalk to Sandusky over 20 times to get his dentures and they never got them right. Because of this he lost 20 pounds because he could not eat because the teeth were not correct. When he asked for his money back they would not give it to him. I highly recommend no one go to Aspen dental in Sandusky Ohio. My next step is elder abuse, because they will not give him his money back. Horrible experience! read more

Mansfield office is the worst experience I've have ever had.i pay for a specific brand on teeth.and they lied to me and said that was the right brand.then my teeth you couldn't even see them.too small .I told them and it was no big deal to them.i payed 2000.00 and I want what I payed for.went to aspen in sandusky.the staff was pleasant and im getting ahole new set.they were not what i payed for.hopfully i get better dentures then what i have.stay away from mansfield aspen dental......... read more

This facility is a racket. They high pressure patients by trying to upsell procedures. Trying to be firm and request just a cleaning was IMPOSSIBLE. The receptionist was rude and very unprofessional. I pay dental insurance and will gladly find another dental office to accomidate me. Don't waste your time. read more

Overpriced and no help with your insurance. $=over a thousand dollars later my teeth were worse than when I started. Went to another Dentist...difference of night and day. They have an expensive location that you are going to pay for and employees who I dought could find a job anywhere else need deodorant. Run Away Someone needs to clean this place. read more

If possible I'd give a rating of 0... This has been a long term and on going situation at this particular location- I won't go into previous incidents of mistreatment, charging for things they didn't do, not listening, not caring, etc. I recently went in due to severe wisdom tooth pain and when I say severe I mean severe. The women who cleaned my teeth failed to notice the brown ring around a tooth, whole in front, also the fact that my wisdom tooth is severely infected with a large plus pocket which has been there since this appointment. Along with the rude and talentless doctor who supposedly has a PHD and other degrees. They claimed I was having pain due to grinding teeth. Well first of all I have never in my life clenched nor grinded my teeth during sleep or during the day. Told that it was NOT an abscess, my wisdom tooth or an infection. Note: my face was swollen, pain visible, and so was pus pocket. I immediately knew this was bullsh**. I was told to come back if it doesn't stop hurting. I go home crying because of the pain. Later on in the week I go to Bright Now, they are appalled by Aspens "professional" behavior. The doctor immediately said I NEED to be on antibiotics that my wisdom tooth is infected and has been causing significant damage to gums and teeth surrounding area. Flash back to a year ago, I had gotten a tooth filled. I had said and signed a paper saying, I will pay whatever additional fees needed if they do NOT put the mercury/silver paste as a filling and use the white paste. They charged me a lot, even after using the mercury paste when I said NO. This place is truly a joke, they don't care about you. They care about your money.. It only gets worse here I promise you that. I will never be returning to Aspen no matter how big the emergency or pain I'm in. read more

It so refreshing to see others with similar issues. The front desk is completely incompetent. I have had several horrific billing issues. The skinny blond not only has zero personal skills, but should not work with the public. I have spoke with corporate on a number of occasions and they were friendly and very willing to help. But, when directed to the regional manager it was obvious that she was good friends with rude girls at the front desk. They not only conveyed the incorrect information to me but they tried to tack on as much stuff to my bill to artificially inflate it as much as they could. I went in for a routine cleaning and on the 3rd visit i walked out. It doesn't take 3 visits to get your teeth cleaned! My insurance give me 2 free cleanings a year. This first visit they tried charging me 1500.00 by adding a 350.00 tooth brush and incorrectly billing my insurance company for procedures that they didn't do! The Hygienist and Dentist were very personable and knowledgeable, but the front desk and regional manager need replaced with individuals that have real people skills and at least act like they care. I will be having my cleaning finished at a more respectable Dentist. read more

I had a good experience here several years ago, so I recommended it to a family member. She made an appointment for 8:30 AM on a Monday morning. She arrived at 8:20. After waiting until 10:30 without seeing a dentist, she told them she was leaving. She was told was that she could make another appointment if she wanted. (Of course she declined the offer.) As someone who loves going to the dentist, I wasn't nervous at all about my appointment here. Just looking for a checkup and someone to take out my wisdom teeth eventually, so I wanted to get acquainted with the place first. I will NEVER go back. It was all around a horrible experience. They called me back by my name and started asking me what kind of dentures I wanted (I'm a 20 something year old girl with all my teeth) then started calling me Carol... I am NOT Carol! I had to wait almost 2 hours for the dentist with absolutely NO bedside (chairside?) manner to come in and scare me even more about having to get my wisdom teeth taken out for the whole whopping 5 minutes he saw me. I will be looking for a new oral surgeon and dentist ASAP because I do not trust these people with my teeth. No privacy while getting your xrays done and I literally felt like cattle being herded around the place or an assembly line or something. Only one nice girl working that spoke to me there.
