Aspen Dental in Terre Haute Indiana are crooks that steal your money and also benefits I went in just wanting a tooth pulled and they had me go through all these x rays then took me back to talk to some so called business staff about These extra things I needed to pay for or they wouldn't pull tooth they then told me that I needed to see a oral surgeon just to have a tooth pulled I've had teeth pulled on other occasions just like this one at a regular dentist office with no problem, Aspen Dental trys to get you to pay for unneeded test before tooth is pulled, I just don't understand why I can go into a regular dentist to have a tooth pulled and why Aspen Dental trys to suck you dry before they will even pull the tooth to stop your pain you are going through, I was also told that the test they gave me before I walked out of this dental practice of thieves would be free then I come home to see they billed my insurance $260.00 if Aspen Dental thinks this is free then there worse off then what I thought, [[HIGHLIGHT]]an Aspen Dental person called me the next day after I walked out of Aspen Dental refusing to pay there outrageous price of trying to rip off good honest people and making people suffer pain in the process told me I got billed for services after being told I wouldn't be charged anything for this service basically calling me a liar[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]she also told me the dentists notes were clear but then I told her but the dentist wasn't clear because she told me I would be charged for nothing but again the Aspen Dental worker told me I was charged for services through insurance[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I feel it's like they hope you will hurt so bad you will give them all they want to over charge, my advice is to ignore this Aspen Dental place and see a regular office practice dentist because they will put your needs first and will only charge for services you need, [[HIGHLIGHT]]i don't need no response on this review from Aspen Dental on how sorry they are and to call them for help and how you are here for the people your not hear for people suffering with pain but are here to take advantage of there pain to squeeze every dime you can out of them.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] read more

My visit reminded me of what it would be like to visit a shady used car dealership that takes but here pay here. They give me some BS dental examine, which was so fake a 10 year old kid could figure it out. Then they send you in to the finance manager who told me the total to get my teeth back in good shape, over $6000. I went in because I cracked my tooth. Nothing else, I just wanted my cracked tooth fixed. I'm not looking for anything else. This place is a joke. My only visit was scheduled because a molar broke in half. When I got my appointment, they insisted I had SEVERE gingivitis and would require 2-3 specialized cleanings before they would fix the cracked tooth and several cavities that needed filled. When I went to schedule the extraction and fillings, they offered a payment plan of what insurance would not cover, I asked what that would look like and they RAN MY CREDIT WITHOUT MY CONSENT OR KNOWLEDGE FOR a Care Credit card!!!!!! The fillings were done in February of 2026 and as of to date, THREE of those fillings are now cracked and have fallen out to the point I am going to ANOTHER dentist to have a root canal on one them and the other two fillings fixed. I am now Having to go to another dentist to Fix what they have done and will have to pay out of pocket. I refuse to return to them as I feel they will not only do a horrible job again, will cause further damage to my teeth and possibly cause more issues to teeth that do not have anything wrong with them. And, my gums were assessed at the new dentist and they stated I had ZERO SIGNS OF GINGIVITIS LET ALONE SO SEVERE THAT I NEEDED 3 IN DEPTH GINGIVITIS CLEANINGS....THAT ARE NOT PAID FOR BY INSURANCE! Subject: Concerns Regarding Improper Billing and Denial of Basic Dental Care Several months ago, I visited Aspen Dental for what I understood to be a routine filling for a small cavity. Instead of treating the cavity, the office performed a large number of X-rays and suggested--without prior complaint from me--that I might grind my teeth at night. They then recommended I purchase a custom mouth guard from their office for several hundred dollars. When I declined and asked again about the cavity, I was told there was no cavity and that no treatment was needed. Recently, I followed up with another local dental professional, who confirmed there had indeed been a small cavity at the time of my initial visit--one that had now grown larger due to lack of treatment. I called Aspen Dental to inform them and returned for a follow-up. Rather than directly addressing the missed cavity, the office again took additional X-rays and insisted I repeat their full dental exam, seemingly to justify further insurance billing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I expressed that I was simply there to have the previously overlooked cavity filled, the dentist responded with an unprofessional and dismissive tone.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] She stated that everything would be covered by insurance, and implied that unless I agreed to their full set of recommended (and unnecessary) services, she "didn't feel comfortable" filling the cavity. This seemed to translate to: if I wasn't willing to allow the practice to bill my insurance for procedures I neither requested nor needed, they would not provide basic care. This experience raises serious concerns about both the quality of care and the ethics of billing practices at this office. I believe this situation warrants further review. read more

Their service is fine, they try to do a good job. But they end up doing poor work and their payback service was absolute trash. Aspen Dental uses 'Synchrony Bank' who is very unhelpful in paying back your debts easily and clearly. They are crooks. Avoid them. Go literally anywhere else. read more

I had a filling at this facility. the dentist drilled the cavity then left the filling for the dental assistant to do. the dental assistant must not have done many as she was shaking like a leaf. the filling never did sit right in my tooth and although I told them they couldn't get it right. Less than a year later the filling fell out and when I went to a different dentist to have it replaced they said the cavity had not all been drilled out and I ended up losing the tooth. The worst place ever, and they are thieves. They made me pay upfront when I had insurance, said they would reimburse my credit card after the insurance company paid them, and three months later I still need to get my money back. My insurance company paid them a couple of months ago, and now every time I call they say they have some kind of IT problem and can't reimburse me yet. read more

I just left the Terre Haute Indiana office and I am totally dissatisfied. They charge me $60 to look in my mouth not do anything and tell me that they could not fix something that they messed up. They are very rude in this office. The dentist is scared to do anything to your mouth and I am having my Bank stop payment on this because I don't feel that I should be charged $50 for absolutely nothing. Thinking of going to Aspen Dental.....think again and then go somewhere..anywhere else. I am in month 7 of this train wreck of a journey with this company. I had to have all my teeth removed 7 MONTHS ago. I was given 'healing dentures' that NEVER fit properly regardless of how many times I went back. There has been delay after delay after delay getting my final set of dentures. Several of my coworkers went thorough the same basic procedures as I did and are going through the same issues with this office. My spouse had the same procedures done at Aspen Dental in FL and had zero issues with them. I can't give this office a lower score than one star but I would rate them as the worst dental office I have ever been to. read more

Be warned that any services offered can be cancelled at any time and you are not entitled to a refund. Please be warned that if you are on a denture plan the temporary dentures that give you can be forcefully taken from you at any time because you do not own those dentures you signed a contract. The Dennis and technicians that work here are nothing more than fraudsters and hucksters hoping that you won't be intelligent or courageous enough to speak out ... The dentist doesn't care, the techs are just in it for a paycheck. They over charge and upsell unnecessary procedures, but won't listen to actual complaints of pain. If you have an appointment after 3 forget it, they just barely look at you before they shove you out the door so they can close early. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

I was sitting in the back waiting and waiting...went to the front desk area to let them know that I had scheduled an eye appointment about 2 hours after my dental appointment and I needed to leave to make it there on time. I rescheduled my appointment, but the second attempt wasn't any better. Be careful if you're a new patient here. They will tell you that you have cavities or need services that you really do not need (because they want money). Get a second opinion before you get the 6 cavities done. They are pushy. Either they know very little about insurance even though they work with insurance companies often or they know how to make you believe they know your insurance. Then they charge $$$ for their estimates being off. ("Oh, I didn't know that this insurance company wasn't going to cover it like we estimated they would. Maybe they will for the next patient with the exact same insurance..") People who understand simple things like math and insurance will understand my frustrations with this business. If I could give less than 1 star I would! This place left a root in my mouth that has been causing me pain for years. When I told them about the problem I was told it was something I was going to have to deal with and live with by the dentist. 10 Years later I am now finding out that in fact it was their mistake and that they did not fully pull the tooth. I now have to have surgery because the bone has infused itself to the root. I have been to 3 specialists and they have all told me the same thing and informed me that it is common for them to correct the mistakes made at Aspen Dental. RUN RUN RUN!!!! read more

I waited over an HOUR to be seen and was late for a meeting! They do not care about your time. Would NOT recommend!!

My oral surgeon and his assistant (don't know her name but she was really nice and funny) both were able to get my right-sided wisdom teeth out without any problems. They were careful, friendly, and very knowledgeable of the situation. I felt their presence to be calming and trustworthy, no doubt about it. The wait was kinda long, but it was extremely worth it. The environment seems to be very professional and I'd like my future appointments to take place here as well. read more
