I am a new patient and I met Dr. Pickard because I had an abscessed tooth that had gotten infected. B I was in horrible pain and doctor pickard was absolutely wonderful. He immediately relieved the pain by giving me 3 injections and medication to get the infection under control. About 2 weeks later I went back and had that tooth extracted. Dr pickard had to also do bridge work around that area before they could remove the tooth.I am 66 years old and was very scared about going to this place because of what I had read. I am telling you Doctor pickard is if not the best dentist I've ever been to he's right there with the best. He's absolutely wonderful.He's trustworthy , he knows exactly what he's doing. Also his assistant Lauren calmed me down with her sweet and kind demeanor. I highly recommend this dentist. He us a great person. read more

Since 2017, the estimated wait time for an appointment has consistently exceeded the scheduled duration by several hours. Staff attribute these delays to extended treatment times with other patients. During a scheduled appointment to establish care, I waited two hours to be seen by the dentist, X-ray technician, and dental hygienist. When I inquired at the front desk about an estimated timeframe for my appointment, given that my scheduled time had passed significantly, they were unable to provide one. The X-ray technician called me back to take X-rays for the dentist. This process took approximately thirty minutes, as the technician spent time setting up equipment and speaking with other staff members in addition to taking the X-rays. Once the X-rays were complete, I was escorted to the patient care area. It took about twenty minutes to see the dentist, who was very efficient in moving on to the next patient. Subsequently, I waited another fifteen minutes to see the dental hygienist, as she was returning from her lunch break. I would be disinclined to return due to the excessive wait times. While I understand that waiting for each patient is sometimes necessary, the dental staff could improve communication by providing updates to patients waiting in the lobby. Also, When you call the office and speak to someone the person you need to speak to about billing will never call you back. read more

The good news, Dr. Pickard was pleasant and professional. Beyond that, run away as fast as you can. I went in around 6/10/26 for an exam and treatment plan. Bottom line, the plan was submitted to insurance with bad/wrong information. Been working with the office since then to try to get it straightened out to no avail. Calls and emails go unanswered and promises to get back to me are not kept. Today is 6/22/26. STAY AWAY unless you want to compound your toothache with a whole lot of aggravation and incorrect treatment plans. My advice: Do your research before using a "corporate" solution to your dental Issues. There is a lot of information out there on this particular chain. read more

I had a repair done on my denture. A few weeks ago, and now the same issue is back. I don't really feel that the repair was done very well. Anyway, but I just said, well, I will just deal with it. But they're trying to recharge me the same amount for the same thing that they did not fix. I would not ever refer these people to anyone or ever given my money again. I booked an appointment the day before for my husband because he was having a really bad toothache. I spoke with a lady a front counter for 15 minutes. I did not catch her name but she was really promising and helpful on the phone. Even though he was a new patient she explained to us on the things that he needed to bring in to be prepared. The appointment was scheduled the next day for 7:30. We get there on time and the door is locked which was strange because they open at 7:30. As soon as we get there it was a lady that asked if we had an appointment and we said yes and she was telling us that she couldn't find our appointment. It was strange that she couldn't find the appointment even though we booked the appointment due to a cancellation. The lady acted as if we we were bothering her and as if she wanted us to leave. I understand that it was a bit early but you shouldn't make anyone feel like you don't want them there or as if we were lying about the appointment. So she told us that if we did not confirm the appointment that it would be canceled as a new patient. The lady that we spoke to the day before told us none of this. THEY ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY!! they never could keep up with my payments and was charging me over and over. also one of the staff told me that the Macon manager came over to the one on Watson and was talking bad about me because i said i didnt like how the dentist was getting frustrated with her helper and was snatching things out my mouth from her helper. i have had my tooth hurt ever since they started working on them 6 months ago. they tell me they dont see anything and just to take antibiotics but it never works and my tooth goes right back to hurting to where i cant even chew my food up properly. they never answer the phone at all times of the day even if you call frist thing when they open and when you do get them on the phone they'll tell you they'll call you back and 3 times they haven't. ive been given no information on how to take care of my crown so of course, it come off. they also didnt properly install my temporary and premiant crown 3. i was told over the phone i would only have to pay a certain amount like a down payment basically and i could have my crown put in and make payments but instead when i got to my appointment she told me they dont do payments and nobody from the office told me that. but how come i and my father spoke with them and they told us both the same thing that phone call. we both didn't mistaken i can tell you that. also they mixed up patients and put me in the room to have my teeth pulled i was in the chair signing the papers for them to start their work on removing my teeth before they realized. if that one person at the front desk didn't noticed i would be missing some teeth. sounds very careless. read more

Had an appointment for myself and when they gave me the price, it was without my insurance. I asked them to run it through my insurance and get me a price and they said they would do it the next day and call me back. They never called. Flash forward 6 months and I got my daughter in for an exam. The lady at the front desk told my wife that she couldn't bring the kids into the office. My wife informed them that the appointment was for my oldest. They said she needed teeth pulled and said they had to call insurance to get the price and they would call us later in the day to let us know the price and to schedule the extraction. After 3 days, my wife started calling. She couldn't reach an actual person so she left a voicemail. She called the following day as well and still never got a call back. I stop in the office, 12 days after my daughter's appointment. The lady at the counter stated that insurance wasn't called and she had to call them to get a price. I don't know where the disconnect is at, but not calling patients back is very frustrating. Will be finding a new dentist provider from here on out. read more

Not happy took 2 appointments to get one tooth pulled and then give me a emergency number to call if you have a problem and when you call it they contact the dentist and he calls and says he's out of town so you have to wait til Monday this is Friday. Call back the next day because you are in extreme pain and they tell you you'll have to see another dentist because I'm out of town and it's cost you more to get it fixed than it did to pull the tooth. This location is absolutely ridiculously. Contacted the location in reference to a emergency appointment and advised the complications and discomfort I was experiencing was advised to come before 10:00 am. After driving 25 minutes to the location due availability was greeted by 2 professional young ladies at the front desk to check in and completed my check in process. I was immediately called to the back to take X-rays of the effected area by a nice young man. After the x-rays I was then moved to the exam room where I sat for 2.5 hours. I closely observed the staff and the environment. Very not welcoming staffs uniform appearance wasn't ironed, the doctor white coat was dingy and not pleasing, music playing in the was not welcoming or appropriate for a dentistry office. Staff seemed to be confused, everyone bumping into each-other( so have we stopped social distancing?) and everything seemed to be very unorganized. Now after sitting in the exam chair for 2.5 hours a rude staff comes in to tell me that I needed to go back up front and wait. Now the tech has to unprep me I then had to escort myself back to front and wait. After waiting 5-10 minutes here comes the office manager calling me to advise me in her office to go over my benefit amounts for 3 extractions . Then to tell me that the doctors was over booked today to perform and extractions and I had to reschedule my appointment. I'm in pain and has driven to this location for them to tell me that the doctor can't accommodate my needs. The doctor never came in the exam room to even acknowledge me or advise me of the issue. I have never experienced this in no medical settings. I felt voided the entire time I was in the back sitting in the exam chair. The office manager didn't show any empathy, wasn't willing to assist in locating another Aspen location for availability her expression was like u do it yourself. This location needs a reevaluation of all staff and training. I have filed a grievance with my Dental insurance company because they needs to know exactly how this location is operating. I immediately contacted another Dentistry explained my situation and experience was quickly given a same day appointment and I'm no longer in pain due to another provider outside of Aspen Dental . I did come to find out that Aspen Dental charged me a exam fee when no doctor diagnosed my issues or spoke to me about his diagnosis. I have also filed a grievance on that claim. Everyone please review your explanation of benefits to make sure that this location is charging you for services that are rendered. Myself I have escalated this further. I have been screwed twice now. First I was to get some stitches taken out after several extractions. I was going to the Macon office at the time and I get up there and there is no one there that day to take my stitches out. Wasted an hour of drive time. Secondly, I have waited 6 months to have impressions done for a lower clip-in denture. I have had this appointment for 6 months, it was confirmed last week and I get there today and the person that is supposed to do the job is on paternity leave. They refused to complete a cleaning that is paid for by my dental insurance and would only do some procedure that cost $1,410.00. Now I cannot go to another dentist for 6 more months because my insurance only pays for 2 visits a year for comprehensive and preventative services. They are ALL ABOUT $$$$$$$$$$$. Reminded me of a time share company instead of a dentist office. Will also be submitting a report to the better business bureau and the Georgia Attorney General. At the end of the visit, they send you into a "closing room" where my total for all services they claim I needed was $7,924.00. When I called to make my appointment the receptionist took my insurance information I've never been there before they did not explain what their procedures are on how they examine or do any work on the patient nor did they check my insurance to see what would be paid and how that was all complete surprised later the young lady doing the x-rays had to be in two places at once I didn't understand that they must have taken 30 x-rays because it could not get it correct she kept yelling back to the other associate to hit the button because when they put the Boom the camera to my mouth it would move and also she was very fast and very rough and then they took me to the stand-up x-ray machine did not ask me that I have any thing in my person that would be metal so she proceeded to take X-rays when I had a monitoring device on for my heart and a pair of reading glasses so we took x-rays and then had to retake them again I had no idea I was going to be doing a x-ray machine that would involve anything like that how about educating the client it was a horrible experience I've had at least 12 dentists in my lifetime and it was absolutely the worst experience I've ever had the dental hygienist was taking the pic and dig it in my gums and then when I jumped out of my seat she want to know what the problem was I was very very angry and then when it came time to do my report it was an astronomical amount of money that my insurance wouldn't cover so they wasted my time and made me very angry absolutely absolutely the worst dental experience I've ever had and there was no apologies from the hygienist that was poking holes in my gums they should be sued and go out of business and file bankruptcy read more

I went to Aspen Dental in Warner Robins 6 months ago and was very disappointed. When the doctor came in she told the assistant that she did the photos and xrays wrong but they weren't going to retake them. The doctor also said that I had 3 cavities. They would have to first do a deep clean, then a regular cleaning, then do my fillings. The dentist said that they may be able to treat my "cavities" with MI paste. The estimated cost was around $800. I got a second opinion with a reputable dentist this weekend and they were able to do my cleaning the same day and their dentist stated that I had no cavities. The hygienist was great and really seemed to care about my overall health. My cost for X-rays and a cleaning was $170. I could not believe that I almost spent a ton of money on something that wasn't necessary. It just felt like Aspen Dental was trying to get money. read more

Sadly this is the only one in my insurance in Warner Robins, but I would venture to say that the drive somewhere else might just be worth the trouble. I had an appointment last two Fridays ago and got there a bit early to make sure I had time to fill the patient forms. I guess they're short-staffed since there was no one at the front desk, but I could see someone in the back talking. After about 7 minutes and another person coming to the desk and just picking something up, not acknowledging the fact that I was standing right there, the person previously talking in the back approached and gave me the forms needed. There was some delay in getting inside, which is to be expected from any dentist office. I got my first set of x-rays and then i was moved to get my second set of x-rays. I sat in there for about 15 minutes with no explanation. Another person, the only helpful one in the entire office, came and got me to move and explained the delay was because they couldn't pull up my first set of x-rays and they were having issues with their system. After another 20 minutes I was moved to yet another room to start the exam. It was done by the same person, who explained everything about the exam quite well. And she ended up taking me back to the x-rays for the second set because the original person never came to get me. I met with the doctor, who basically told me the exact same thing. By this time it was around 4:30pm and my appointment was at 1:15pm. I was supposed to get a cleaning, however they didn't have the time. I was taken out to wait to speak with the office manager who would explain the procedure and financial options and schedule my cleaning appointment as well as any other procedure appointments. By the time I was there the office manager proceeded to ask if it would be ok to give me a call since they were closed and there were already 2 people ahead of me waiting to speak with her (same lady as the front desk). I thought that was perfect. However, it has been over a week and I haven't gotten a call yet. I called yesterday, the phone was off and it said to call during office hours, which I had done. Left a message and still nothing. So I would highly recommend you find another dental practice even if you need to make the drive. It will be worth it. As an aside, and to top it off, my wife had an appointment too, on Monday. When she got there there was a sign on the door saying they were closed and would reopen later, so she waited, figured they'd be open for her appointment since she hadn't heard from them to cancel. This was around 11:15am, appointment was at 11:30am. After calling and leaving messages and waiting until 11:50am she decided to leave. At noon she got a text saying that they needed to cancel her appointment and would need to reschedule. Half an hour after her appointment she gets a TEXT saying they need to reschedule. She called to reschedule and didn't hear back until yesterday, Friday. She waited 5 days to hear back about the rescheduling. That is completely unprofessional and ridiculous. read more

STAY AWAY! Absolute worst dental office my family have used. First, their billing system is HORRIBLE, and we left them primarily because of it. Now, 9 months after paying off two separate bills for my wife and I, they are contacting me to pay for MORE than what I was initially billed. Reason why? They are still trying to submit claims to my old insurance for my wife's treatment that occurred two years ago!! I paid for our part and the part not covered, but these yahoos are still trying to claim services that have already been paid! PLUS, my wife and I both had crowns done. My didn't fit correctly, but the dentist used it anyway. And my wife has had pain ever since they did her crown, and so our new dentist is having to either fix it or replace it. Their dentists are incompetent, their staff are nice but clueless, and their billing procedures are the absolute worst I have ever seen. Quite surprised to find that they would not provide even a ball-park estimate for dentures. Only way to find out was to make a free appointment. What a surprise---10 extractions and a full set of dentures would cost $8,3000. WOW!!!! 10 extractions alone was quoted at $4900!!! More than twice what a reputable oral surgeon in Warner Robins quoted! Also, their pricing differs quite drastically apparently depending on where you are. My friend was quoted a price for dentures in Millidgeville ----quoted a price with no appointment and it was $1800!! WOW! That is amazing---and quite disappointing. The dentist and hygienist are great but the office management are not. My husband needed an implant and we received an estimate for the out of pocket costs. While we understand this was just an estimate, it was off by over $1,000. We contacted the office many times and were told to contact our health insurance to see if they would pay for the additional amount. When it was declined, office staff told us to send them the denial and they would go back to the dental insurance to get coverage. Supposedly they had documentation from dental insurance that they would pay with this denial. We received a past due invoice from Aspen but was told by office staff that they would flag our account to say they were working on it and the account was not past due. After receiving a FINAL invoice from Aspen we contacted the Aspen office again. They told us to see if our health insurance would pay. We had already done all this and sent to them. Needless to say, all we got was the run around. We will never use the Warner Robins Aspen Dental office again unless something happens to their implant.
