A $150.00 surcharge was added upon checkout, without any notification or explanation, none of which is covered by my insurance, so I am told. I have had several billing issues in the past with New Rochelle Dental Arts, ALL of which were brushed aside as computer glitches, or other malfunctions. Today put this longstanding customer over the top. You DO NOT treat a customer this way, particularly one who has been with you for several years. As of this writing, I have STILL not received communication from any single individual in billing, as I requested. Perhaps, it will matter to New Rochelle Dental Arts when they see they have lost me as a client, along with four other family members. NRDA has proven to me once and for all they CANNOT be trusted. I scheduled an appointment expecting to receive an exam, X-rays, and a routine cleaning. I received the exam, X-rays, and an Invisalign consultation. After the dentist completed the exam, she recommended a deep cleaning, fillings, and an extraction. Instead of moving forward with a cleaning, I was taken to speak with the financial coordinator, who reviewed the proposed treatment plan and costs. The deep cleaning would have cost over $1,000, with my portion being $477 after insurance. I was comfortable discussing the fillings, but I declined the extraction because it has never caused me any problems, and previous dentists have told me it could be monitored if it remained symptom-free. I explained that I was not ready to proceed with the deep cleaning and politely asked if I could receive a regular cleaning instead. I was told that I could not and that I should find another dental practice. That response was disappointing and felt unprofessional. What frustrated me most was that the deep cleaning was presented as a recommendation, yet I felt I had no choice if I wanted any cleaning at all. At every other dental office I've visited, when a deep cleaning was recommended and I declined, I was still given the option of a regular cleaning after discussing the risks and benefits. This was the first time I have ever been refused a cleaning altogether. I understand that treatment recommendations are important and that practices need to discuss available options. However, I also believe patients should be able to ask questions, decline recommended treatment, and still be treated respectfully. I left feeling like my concerns and preferences were not taken into consideration. To make matters more frustrating, my insurance benefits were used for the exam and X-rays, and I now have to schedule another appointment with my previous dentist to receive the cleaning I originally came in for. Overall, I left feeling disappointed by the experience. While the hygienist provided excellent care, the way my treatment options were handled and the lack of flexibility in discussing alternatives left me with a negative impression of the practice.

She constantly checks in on you and your comfort level, making sure you're okay. She really connects with the patient. The cleaning went great. The Invisalign consultation was quick, very detailed, and all questions were answered. The deal is fanatic! Highly recommend. The treatment here is just great, office is very clean, you don't feel rushed out the door. Also, big shout out to the front desk. I lost my insurance card, and they were able to set me up no problem, which was a big worry of mine.

The dentists are normal people who talk to you about what they are doing. 7. A lot of their work (like making caps) is done in house so the wait time for stuff is cut in half!! 8. Dr. Inabi. I have never been able to find a dentist who knows how to handle my particular brand of trauma. My dental health life has been a series of avoidance, emergency from neglect, traumatic fixes, and more avoidance. Rinse and repeat. Last Friday I broke a crown and that familiar panic set in. I spent the weekend researching "trauma-informed dentistry" in Westchester County. I found a few names and made some cold calls, and while they all seemed lovely, nobody seemed like a good fit for my fear. When I spoke to Carissa at Advanced Dental Care, even my wife (who heard me on the phone) noticed my voice soften and noticed the relief in my demeanor. From that first phone conversation, she already lowered my panic. They squeezed me in for an emergency consult, and despite already having two emergencies and no openings, they found a spot for me. I never once felt rushed. They treated me as if I'd been a patient with them my entire life. This morning Dr. Ashraf performed the procedure and it all went smoothly. No pain. No trauma. No fear. I now have a dentist. I've already scheduled my six-month check-up.

No cavities and no work needed. I had cracked a tooth prior which I knew about but didn't think it was serious. Well apparently it was and caused a small cavity. Dr Castanaro fixed my tooth up....despite me acting like a huge baby when he needed to numb me. He worked quickly and was gentle. Was funny and kept me entertained while he worked. I called to schedule a second appointment for a teeth cleaning. The front office receptionist…read moreinformed me that my account was deactivated, the system was down, preventing reactivation, and there were no available appointments for two months. When I inquired why my account was deactivated, she stated it was because I was upset about the cost of fillings and had said I wouldn't return. This is not accurate. During my first visit, I received a full-mouth X-ray and a teeth cleaning from a dentist (not Dr. Avanzato). The dentist reviewed the X-rays, said everything looked good, and recommended a return visit in six months. Before leaving the exam room, I asked about fillings to address a gap in my upper teeth due to receding gums. The dentist directed me to the front desk, where I received a quote that seemed exorbitant. I mentioned that my previous dentist had billed my insurance plan and co-pay for significantly less and indicated I wouldn't get the work done there. The receptionist was not present during my consultation with the dentist. Despite my corrections, the receptionist continued to claim I had refused treatment. I ended the conversation because it was unproductive. After this, I decided not to return to the practice and went to retrieve my dental records. The receptionist claimed she had already emailed a copy of my records and mailed a letter on the same day of my service. I never received either. She again insisted I needed two fillings, which I hadn't requested. I asked her to just send me the records. Later that day, I received an email with a copy of my X-rays and a note that a duplicate letter had been mailed. Two days later, I received a letter, dated the day of my service, stating that I would be better served by seeking another dentist due to a breakdown in the doctor-patient relationship. I had already decided to seek another dentist, but this situation makes me question who makes decisions at this practice, the dentist or the receptionist, who seemed to be providing misleading and inaccurate information.
