My extraction gave me flashbacks to my 5 year old experience at the old Dentistry 4 Kidz that made me begin my dental trauma issues. Dr Torres was nice but I was shocked that $23,000 was the treatment plan estimate for all the work they want done in a year. I don't even make that much a year, it's ridiculous. I also didn't feel confident that the assistants weren't positive of what they were doing. Just really still in pain and I can't get approved for any finance options so I feel like I'm just gonna have to suffer on these other 23,000 worth of work. That's a used car amount of money not something a national dentist office needs to maintain anything. They get plenty of business and the non insurance people get lured in with a cheap exam and then boom, your whole year in pay for the treatments. I wish we had another emergency dentistry that doesn't feel like direct extortion or that one place that have people booked out WEEKS with no pain meds for emergency procedures that have to wait weeks. I went to Aspen Dental for a dentures consultation and walked out feeling like I'd just sat through a used-car sales pitch. I've had routine cleanings every 6 months for the past 7 years. Not once--ever--has my regular dentist told me I had periodontal disease. Suddenly, during Aspen's "free" exam, I'm told I have bone loss and beginning periodontal disease, and that dentures aren't the real solution. Instead, they pivoted immediately to selling me: * 3 crown bridges * Additional treatments * A treatment plan totaling $14,367 No conservative options. No "wait and see." No acknowledgment of my consistent dental history. Just pressure, fear-based language, and financing talk. The diagnosis felt conveniently timed to justify a massive upsell. If periodontal disease had truly been present, it would not have gone unnoticed for 7 years of regular care. Periodontal disease doesn't magically appear overnight and suddenly require five-figure dentistry. The entire experience felt corporate, rushed, and sales-driven, not patient-centered. My first experience at Aspen Dental in Wichita Falls, Texas was good and I left a good review, however, my second time going was not so good. The staff was still really nice and didn't have a long wait time, I had chipped a front tooth and needed a crown. The temporary crown fell off in three days, I didn't get it re-cemented because the permanent crown was coming in a few days. So when I got the permanent crown I was eating spaghetti about a week later and it came off so I went in and had it re-cemented and it lasted for approximately 2 weeks I think and then it came off again so the third time they ordered me a new crown and re-cemented the one that I already had. They told me the crown wouldn't cost me any money. So the third time it worked really well and so I didn't go back for the new crown they had ordered, however, I got a bill for them re-cementing the old one the third time so I wasn't pleased about that because it was not my fault that it kept falling off. They billed my insurance for the third re-cementing and I think they should be happy with that. read more

Over the years I have been irresponsible with my dental hygiene at this point i need dental services. I scheduled an appointment with Aspen Dental in Wichita falls. Today I received a call from Jazzman a Aspen Dental representative. I answered phone, she said is this Carl, i said yes in a distant tone as if she did not really want to talk to me. She ask 'What will what type of service are you looking for." I explained I probably need some extractions and what I thought would be general dentistry asking could they help me. She paused and after about 5 seconds says like a robot "We do extraction, root canals, implants and general dentistry." The energy was so cold I saw snow flurry's on my phone screen. Customer service was at all time low. To some this may be small but for me customer service is a matter of integrity,. Because of his one incident I lost trust and good faith all before I walked in. This place is poorly managed and overbooked. Got an appointment for dental clean up two weeks in advance. Got a call that their phone system/internet is down so rescheduled. Arrived for rescheduled appointment - after 30 minutes of waiting, they tell me there is another 1 hour before they can see me. They overbooked to to an extent that there was not enough seats for people sit. Thats terrible. Aspen dental sucks. I would take my business where they value my time and business. read more

Office Manager, Kelly Shrubs is extremely rude and unprofessional. She had so many questions about my Humana insurance and when I tried to expound on something she got completely wrong, she hung up in my face. I went up to the office thinking I was speaking to junior staff on to find out she's the supervisor. Sad. I called corporate and filed a complaint on her because she doubled down on her terrible behavior right in front of her colleagues and seemed quite proud of herself. Absolutely the worst customer service experience I've ever had! Scheduled my appointment on a Thursday for the following week, confirmed my appointment through text and email day's prior to my appointment. I show up at my appointment time and was told I was removed from the schedule because they called the day before to verbally confirm and I did not answer. I explained I confirmed through text and email and they said oh if you don't verbally confirm then there is nothing they can do.. When I returned to get procedure they took care of me See me and sage live in the same complex and are apt burnt down and we lost everything including our cat and dog. Crowns were poorly placed. There is a visible gap between my crowns and the root tooth. Apen's solution to this problem was to grind the crowns until they sort of fit. Oh, but the staff is super-friendly. Aggressively friendly, even. There's a dude who seems like the sort of guy who ought to work at a gym. You know, the incredibly pushy guy who encourages you to sign up for a membership, including a personal trainer and all that jazz? Yeah, I got a bad vibe from him right from the get-go. Should've trusted my gut. He sure did manage to get me to finance my crowns. No interest for a few months! Yeah, looks like a great deal on the surface. What they don't tell you is that "Aspen Dental" is essentially a front for DentalFirst, a predatory lending company. That "no-interest" deal is all good, it's remarkably well-timed. You make payments while you're in the no-interest period, and they're polite, cautious, and accommodating... right up until you hit the end of that no-interest period. Then, they cut off all communication. The goal is to get you to forget about the payments, so you'll be late. Then, they can charge you an astonishingly high late fee (mine was ~$140) and start calling you like crazy. But they only want you to pay the minimum payment. I paid off my whole balance today because I wasn't going to get taken for any more by these horrific asshats. I hope something they love catches on fire tomorrow. These are horrible people, and you should avoid them whenever possible. I cannot say enough negative things about these awful jerks. I've got terrible crowns for which I overpaid due to their predatory lending practices. Go elsewhere. There are much better dentists in Wichita Falls--certainly dentists who aren't beholden to awful, evil lenders. read more

I went there for tooth extraction, they botch up the extraction, broke tooth couldn't extract the rest of the tooth that day. I had to return back when a real dentist was scheduled to work that day. They scheduled me another appointment, I showed up for this appt. They didn't have me schedule for that appt. They had to see me because I had the scheduled appt. card that they gave me first time I was there. This time they tore up my gum to remove the reminding tooth. I was in alot of pain after that. I am trying to get some help for a friend of mine. He visited your Wichita Falls location in Texas. The fist visit went fine. He had his x rays done and a plan for his dentures. When he went back for the procedure nearly a month later he had issues. The dentist came into the room and never spoke to him. He pushed the nurse aside and started shooting the pain killer into his gums on the right side. When he started to move to the left side my friend had to stop him because the nurse had not numbed that side yet. When he asked for some goggles so he could not see what the dentist was doing the dentist took off his gloves, said I can't work like this, and left the room. My friend was confused and asked the nurse is he coming back. The nurse left the room too. My friend, who is in a wheelchair wheeled himself to the front. He got upset and ugly with the staff and they rushed him out. Now he us afraid to call to reschedule his appointment. And he paid for the services up front. Help please. read more

Dr. Wong is a great dentist on the other hand the "dentist" taking his spot is very questionable. My boyfriend went to get fillings but once he was about to leave the nurse thought they left something in his mouth, once he left he went straight to the bathroom to examine what happened then he notice a HUGE hole in his upper lip he came out asking what happened to him and they were clearly shaken confused on what to say. This dentist repeatedly said that he didn't do anything and had the audacity to say "wait you came in with that right?" I promise my boyfriend wouldn't have gone to the dentist if he had a gigantic hole in his mouth that's causing him bad pain. We are now at the hospital and they are suspecting a burn. I give them no stars, I have been to 2 different aspen Dental one in Sherman Texas and the one in Wichita Falls. All they want to do is throw a big price at you and not care about your concerns nor did they offer to give me any material on how to get financing for $18.000 worth of work.i was told dental implants hurts less than pulling your teeth but I had to be put to sleep for 2 dental implants that takes 30 minutes or less but I could stay awake to pull all my teeth. I told them I didn't want to be put to sleep and they said that was there policy. Yes there policy to make money that's all.i live on disability and I'm trying to save all I can to get this done and the cost of being put to sleep for 30 minutes is outrageous and is not as safe as being awake.they didn't care that I live in pain right now and that I hate to even smile anymore all the cared about was the $17,090.00 that they aren't getting from me.and please Aspen Dental quit assuming people who have bad teeth are drug users or neglected there teeth I have ears we can hear you talking, I never had teeth or gum problems until I was 50.i had perfect teeth one filling my whole life and saw my dentist every 6 months until I had to go on disability and couldn't go to the dentist for 2 years due to no insurance or money waiting to get my disability. Worst dental experience ever, Took 3 trips to get it done and I live 1 1/2 hours away and they new that. I paid the bill that they said would cover all the appointments and then 45 days later received a bill for 150% more than what I had already paid.
