I later agreed to the work and was given an approx start date via email. I never heard back from Ivan after several attempts of leaving messages. The irrigation system was installed in a day. Two weeks later there was a leak at the back flow valve. I was told Ivan would come out and fix it- three times. He didn't show up. We just had Aspen Landscape replace our concrete driveway with pavers. Ivan handeled all the paperwork and permissions with the HOA. Not only did he install a great driveway, sidewalks and garbage can area but did an amazing job cleaning up after completion. He was very competitive on pricing because I checked. Contacted Aspen on May 29 to have them look at our property and give an estimate for a complete redo of back property area. Jorge (the owner) came out on May 31, was pleasant and went through all the issues and discussed what to do. Gave us name of gravel supplier in Show Low and asked us to identify the specific gravel we wanted to use. We went that same day (which was my birthday, I could have been doing other things) because we wanted things to move along. Sent him gravel choices and photos on the 31st. Never heard back. June 4th sent a text asking status. It was read, but no response. Sent another text on June 6th asking if he's still there and status. It was read, but no response. Sent another text on June 7th asking "Hello?", it was read but no response. A friend warned us that they were ghosted by him. I should have listened. A simple "not interested" or "have other issues" would have been courteous. read more
