I swear all the girls at the front are rude . Really lazy and all they do is have attitude. When you set an appointment your appointment is t the same time it's can take up to 45 minutes or up to an hours . Don't work with this Aspen in Riverside, just book an appointment for the one in Corona. The receptionist is rude and will put you on hold until you hang up. It was an "issue" to schedule an appointment with the receptionist because she said the referring clinic had to make it instead of us. Why would the referring clinic need to make the appointment? Do they magically know what our schedule is and what would work best for us? With the 20 minutes we were speaking and on hold with the receptionist, she could've just made the appointment. Doctors are wonderful. I'd give them 4 stars. But...their front desk staff is awful. Classic case of being in the wrong job. Every time I go, they do something dumb. At my last visit for my annual woman's wellness, one of the girls at the front tells me my insurance doesn't cover their office and that they couldn't see me. I ask why this wasn't told to me weeks before when I scheduled my appt and she apologizes. After going back and forth repeating the same thing, I ask of they can just see me and I'll worry about the bill later. She says she'll ask her manager. I decide to call my insurance and it turns out I am covered at their office! The staff is completely providing inaccurate information. Do not come to the Riverside Office, the Corona Office for Aspen Medical group is much better. The Doctors that work for Aspen are wonderful, but the front desk team, and some a few nurses are awful. Completely rude and have bad attitudes, they hardly answer the phone when you call, they back up patients so badly that the wait times are horrible. Literally the worst customer service I've ever received... the lady who scheduled my appointment spelled my first name and my last name wrong AND got my member ID wrong. She then told me she would call my insurance to see if they accept it. Then, When they called me two weeks later for my appointment, THREE different people put me on hold for over an hour to "verify my insurance", which should have been done two weeks prior by the appointment scheduler? Then, they called me back the next day and tell me that "i missed my appointment and if I wanted to reschedule.." umm.. i did not miss my appointment? I was on hold for an HOUR with three different people!! There is clearly NO communication whatsoever between staff members, and they clearly have no idea what they are doing. They then call me to tell me they "don't take my Insurance after all". So I called my Insurance and they said Aspen DOES take my insurance, they were just too lazy to check. Absolutely unprofessional and a waste of time. Do not go here - staff has no idea what they are doing and shouldn't even have jobs. This is way over due. I had my daughter on 6/19/2015. My main doc was Mohamedali Ismailjee. I loved Loved Loved Loved him. He was very patience with me, this was my 1st Kid and he also made sure i didn't have anymore questions before he left. On time with his appointments. One time He called me back after hours and made be feel very comfortable about the situation. i also loved the PA Rachael she is pretty awesome to. I saw her when Dr Ismailjee was unavailable due to birthing baby's. Staff is nice and friendly. Clean facility and i love that they are with Parkview Community Center that was a plus for me. I ended up having a emergency c section and that is very scary but when i saw Dr. Ismailijee and Rachel there to birth my baby i did relax tremendously because i trusted them both with my life and the life of my child. My Daughter now see Nicole Bostic with Aspen pediatrics and she is also pretty Awesome. I give Aspen 5 stars all the way around. read more

I love this office is never too crowded and the time frame is always short great service by the Pediatrician and the staff are always helpful i understand they are occupied sometimes with paperwork but when i need anything appointments or a dr note for school or a refill or a referral etc. They always help me and find the best way to schedule my appointments and complete my forms or request the referrals or refills i don't mind if they make me wait a little because when is my turn they give my kids all the attention they need and the right treatments and answer all my questions. My wife saw both Dr. Emeruwa and Dr. Ismailjee during her pregnancy. Both doctors are excellent at what they do. They were always prepared and showed concern and seemed genuinely interested in making my wife's pregnancy as smooth as possible. Both doctors were always proactive (e.g., ordering tests as needed, and sending us to labor and delivery after my wife had a slip accident) concerning the health and welfare of both my wife and our baby. We were always able to get appointment times that were convenient. Their offices are clean and modern. They have an excellent PA (Rachel) and she assisted Dr. Ismailjee who delivered our son by c-section. The delivery was earlier than planned but both the doctor and Rachel arrived promptly. The delivery had one minor hiccup that was not the fault of either the Dr. or PA. (A local was needed as my wife could feel the laser and the staff at Parkview was slow at getting it for the doctor) The doctor waited patiently (about 2 minutes) for the shot and then proceeded with the c-section. Everything with the delivery was great and our son, now eight weeks old, is healthy. We recommend anyone go to this office if they're pregnant. read more

I had a bad experience with Dr. E, I came in with really bad burning sensations and pain in my stomach as well as frequent acid reflux and indigestion. I made the mistake of showing him my natural medication because it is the only thing that has been giving me some relief. He began to question me saying " If you claim this is working for you, then why are you here?" I said it has been giving relief not necessarily curing me. I walked out with no help or answers for my problems and pain. Basically I came in to get judged by him and didn't get the medication that I needed. It made me emotional to be honest because I came to him to get answers and to feel better not be judged. read more

Wasn't very satisfied with my first prenatal visit. I was expecting to see my baby at 7 weeks and didn't even get to! And to make matters worse I had an app. at 10:45 and they call me saying we have to reschedule because of a "surgery" and they didn't have an open app. until 3pm. So to make matters worse I get there at 2:45pm you know the earlier the better ... And I didn't get called until 3:20 or something like that. After all the question asking I waited another 45 minutes for the GUY OBGYN ( yeah they didn't tell me it was a guy either ) tells me the ultrasound machine doesn't take pictures??? Uhmm what?? Yeah so I don't recommend it unless you like waiting for an hour for some disappointing news like me. Let's just hope next visit is a much better one! So I come back for the second time to the OBGYN ... And since I had a really bad experience I thought I would give them a second chance. Well they totally blew it. My appointment is today which is December 28th, 2015 my appointment time was 11:40 so I wake up this morning with a phone call. I answer it's the receptionist from the doctor calling to reschedule AGAIN BECAUSE OF AN " Emergency " So I'm thinking you know what it's fine I can wait a couple more hours to see my baby. So they changed it to 1:30pm same day. Then comes 1:30 they call me again I'm like 5 minutes away and they say that my appointment was at 2 which was wrong because it was at 1:30 I'm not deaf and then saying I need to come in at 2:30 because the doctor was still in an " emergency " and they didn't know when the doctor would come in. I say that I'm already here they say okay it's fine we'll do all the stuff and Rachel the doctor should be in by 2:00 I said okay fine. So I show up , they call my name to go inside the room. And I see the nurse pulling up all the pap swear stuff? I'm like excuse me I don't need to do that I already did it. She says that I guess last time they didn't get enough specimen . I'm thinking ... Why don't they tell their patients this? Idk about you but I wanna know if someone's gonna be searching up my vagina? Let me at least be ready? It's my fault the doctor didnt get enough specimen nope it's not. So then another nurse walk again. And you don't even wanna guess. " we're sorry your doctor Rachel isn't gonna be here today she has another " emergency " (in my head)ARE YOU SERIOUS?? You can wait till she comes in which is who knows when or get a male doctor ... Yeah a male doctor again when I made this appointment to not get a male. So this place is freaking ridiculous I gave you guys another chance and you blew it. You need to learn to communicate with your patients and let them know the procedures that are gonna be done and not just last minute things because your doctors can't do a freaking Pap smear. I'm just so angry how they can be so unprepared and make me do things twice because of their mistakes. I'm still in here waiting since 1:30 for a doctor. & I don't even know if I'll see my baby because last time the guy doctor showed me a glimpse and said the ultrasound machine doesn't take pictures?? Went for an annual women's visit and the office used the wrong billing code so I was charged a much higher amount from my insurance company. 3 months later and 5+ phone calls into the office, still no resolution. This place really lacks customer service, communication, and punctuality. I gave them another try as the first time I came I waited over an hour undressed in the room to be seen. I could hear the nurses laughing in the hallway all this time. I put on my clothes and told them I have to be rescheduled as I had another appointment to attend. Meanwhile all this time I had requested to be seen by Rachel and Kristin was to see me. Second time I come in they just do a yada yada consultation and had me do lab work when I came in for annual pap and breast exam. This place has you constantly going back and forth, most of all they keep you waiting. When I go back for results in which I had to be calling because they are horrible at following up they decide to finally do my pap. When I had my pap and received my results they refused to let me have another pap done at least in another 6 months due to it coming back as abnormal. As a patient it is my right to have another one taken if any abnormalities or something wrong. Instead they kept pushing for me to have an biopsy done and told me I'd have to wait a year for another pap and more than likely my insurance would not approve. I was so upset as I've had the same insurance for years and never had a problem, even once when I had to have another pap done years ago. Let me continue with how the office staff is horrible every time you call and they always seem to tell you that no doctor is available or in the office today...hmmm really wow i find that to be very odd all the time. The last thing that pushed my button was other lab results that were done and it had been over a week and still no follow through when resilts are forwarded to the office within two days. I called and they had the nerve to tell me the doctor had 2 more days to review results, yet they had already received them in the office a week ago. I later received a call from Rachel and she told me the results, but I didn't seem to understand and she advised i can go in the next day to the office and someone would be able to assist me in the results. I went and what do you know wow again no doctor available at all to explain results to me. I had to try for over a week actually two weeks to have someone call me amd explain my results. The first time an office staff told me well we dont know therefore we have you refer out, really how would you not know if you are referring me out and your clinic specializes in this. Second time someone finally called me after I complained and explained as a patient it is my right to have someone sit down and explain my lab results to me. I finally was able to go to the office and have someone explain to me. The icing on the cake is I was given a referral and it has been over three weeks and they told me they would call me for my authorization to make an appointment and I have never heard back from them. I would not recommend this office to anyone as they lack communication, customer service and most of all follow through. read more

The pediatric office here is excellent! I took my daughter here for a physical and needed forms filled out. The wait was not long at all. The staff were very efficient and courteous. The doctor was great! She has an excellent bedside manner and made my daughter feel very much at ease. My forms were filled out immediately! Overall we had a wonderful experience from scheduling the appointment to the follow up on my daughter's lab results. I would highly recommend this pediatric office! Definitely recommend the OB office and Ped. All the Doctors are professional, helpful and understanding. I was actually seen by 2 Doctors for my prenatal care. When I went into labor, Dr. Langston was out of town and Dr. LoCascio (who was pregnant) had just gone on leave. I had seen Dr. Langston a couple of days before I went into labor, and she had already told me that she would be out of town. I wasn't worried. Dr. Emeruwa was on call for my delivery and even though I hadn't met him before at the office, I really liked him. He really made me feel comfortable. Thanks to Dr. Emeruwa, Dr. Langston, and Dr. LoCascio for making my first pregnancy and delivery very comfortable. All the staff and Dr are great. I now see Dr. Golkarieh. She is right next door to the OB office and my son loves her. I'm so happy to have found this Medical Group. read more

The staff is well enough but the Doctors are highly questionable Dr, Iheanacho Emeruwa and Dr. Rebecca Stone were both Doctors of mine during my pregnancy. I have to say being my first, it was the worst experience of my life due to the care I received. My sister also had both of these doctors, but she had a miscarriage and almost died due to a major infection in her stomach. During this time Dr. Stone high tailed it to another practice out of state on short notice. Such short notice that I got stuck with Emeruwa on my last week of pregnancy. He made me uncomfortable and he was bossy, and the man had no consideration for me as a patient and a new mother. This doctor was also responsible for sending my sister home with this major infection without further testing. My sister ended up in emergency a week later being told she might die. My own child during his delivery was pretty much delivered by the nurses at the hospital but when he was crowning the nurses told me not to push any more and wait for Dr. Emeruwa to show up, well 35+ minutes later he comes strolling in and asks if he has time to wash up and the nurses say yes. All this time I'm told to hold my baby in ,not to cough, not to sneeze or anything. My baby was born with fluid in his lungs and had bad color due to it. He is alright thanks to the baby nurse at the hospital that was awesome probably because he is not affiliated with Aspen Medical Group. If I didn't have to give them a star I wouldn't. If you want good care don't go here and hopefully you won't get stuck with them. read more

I would not recommend the OBs in this office. I went here for my prenatal care for the first eight months of my pregnancy and then switched to another practitioner because I finally realized that I was not comfortable with the Aspen doctors. At my first visit I was supposed to have a Pap smear; I had never had one before and I was absolutely terrified. I told the doctor this, and even though she could tell that I was not exaggerating at all because she heard my heart racing when she checked for my heart beat (she commented on it), she only told me, "Welcome to being a woman." Since it was my first time being pregnant, I did a lot of research on everything to do with birth and delivery. During a visit, I asked the doctor about some research I found that said that it's better to not have an episiotomy and instead to tear naturally; she responded, "Well, if I don't do an episiotomy when it seems one is needed, you might tear really badly, but of course if you want to tear badly..." In short, if you're looking for an OB who will be sympathetic and will not dismiss the information and concerns you have, go somewhere else. I recommend Dr. Avants in Redlands. read more

Definitely NOT recommended! This place is a joke. The receptionists are extremely rude and care more about their own conversations then helping the people walking in. I went there for 2 appointments before switching OBs, BOTH times i waited in the waiting room with my 1 year old (that was fun) for OVER an hour...even though I arrived for my appointments 20 mins early. Women that came in 15-20 mins late for their appointments still got seen before me, even though they were late. Ridiculous. I went to see Dr. Langston when I found out I was pregnant, she told me I was threatening a miscarriage and not to get my hopes up because we couldn't hear the babies heartbeat at 5 weeks!! That is NOT true at all, i cant imagine how many mothers shes stressed out because of that. During my second appointment, after waiting for an hour in the waiting room, i went back and sat in the room waiting for my doctor for about 35-40 mins....and then it wasn't even my doctor that came in, it was a nurse that eventually saw me! Again this place is a flippen joke. DO NOT waste your time or money here. Its well worth the drive to go somewhere else. read more
