Please do not go here. The set I requested was very fairly simple. Unfortunately I do not have…read morepictures of them, but I have attached what I wanted below. I requested them shorter than this. The person I had didn't even do the color under the pattern that differentiates the nails from the other. She just did all of them one color. I could you not, the paint and design job took about 15-20 minutes total and the only reason it took that long, is because she had to use a magnet to get the cat eye effect. I was charged 85 dollars. My little sister who had much shorter and smaller nails in general because she is 8 years old got charged 55 dollars. Her design was a French tip and had two nail stickers on it. She wanted jewels, but for some reason had her pick stickers instead. I wasn't notified about the price of my nails until half way through my appointment and had no idea about my sisters until we were at the counter. I paid and didn't say anything because I figured it's my fault for not asking earlier... and sense I don't get my nails done very often, it doesn't matter that much. But now I feel justified in my frustration after trying to take them off only to realize they use the ILLEGAL MMA acrylic powder which is SO MUCH CHEAPER and makes the 140 dollar charge in total make no sense at all. Her nails ended up cracking and falling off within a few days. This set took 4 hours to take off with help from my partner because I don't own a nail drill. It completely ruined my nail filer and I used 3/4 of a bottle of brand new acetone. My nails are so sensitive, damaged, and hurt so bad. The MMA smelled disgusting, it was so gummy, and hardened literally 10 seconds after taking my hands out of the acetone which is why it took 4 hours to take off. They are taking advantage of women and little girls who have no idea about how dangerous or what MMA is and how much nails are supposed to cost. Please find somewhere else, or ask to make sure they are using the legal EMA when getting acrylic sets. I will be reporting to the Board of Cosmetology.

Then it was cold and she wouldn't adjust it, which was just kind of a bummer. There was not a regular foot file part of the pedicure, so my heels don't have that nice feeling they usually do after a pedicure. My right big toenail was cut at a strange diagonal on one side (it had been straight across when I came in), and this is what my hands look like *three days* after the mani. (And I've barely even done dishes the last three days--no hard labor or anything. I can get over a week when I do my nails myself!) Just very odd and not a good experience, unfortunately. My left toes look good, so 1/4 of the mani-pedi turned out as one would hope?

I mentioned at one point that she could do more on the pressure, but then it stayed the exact same. She never checked in to see if the pressure was okay or anything, which was a little disappointing. By the time we reached the end I was pretty bummed at the experience but I still tipped because it wasn't horrible--it just mostly felt like I was really moisturized after vs actually having my muscles worked on.

It felt like she just wanted to make the same amount regardless of the service. It seems like you have to go to Phoenix if you want your nails done right.

When I made the appointment, I specifically told Mary that I wanted a gel manicure and pedicure done at the same time so I could finish around the same time as my kids, who were getting basic manicures and pedicures. Mary confirmed this over the phone and told us to come in at 11:45 a.m. We arrived early at 11:35 a.m. and I reminded Mary that my appointment was supposed to include my manicure and pedicure at the same time. She immediately told me they couldn't do that but assured me not to worry because I would still finish at the same time as my kids. She seemed to be in a bad mood, so I didn't argue. The salon was packed, with many people already waiting. Even though we had an appointment, we waited over 35 minutes before anyone helped us. Around noon, they finally started my pedicure, and shortly afterward my kids' services began. After my pedicure, Mary took me to her station for my gel manicure. She was on her phone while removing my old gel polish and was extremely rough. I tried to tolerate the pain, but after about seven nails, it became unbearable. I politely asked if she could be a little gentler. Instead of responding professionally, she looked at me and said, "Go sit at station 7 so someone else can do your nails." I moved to station 7 and then had to wait another 35 minutes before someone finally came to finish my manicure. By that point, my kids had already been waiting for me for nearly an hour. Unfortunately, the manicure itself was rushed and poorly done. To make matters worse, when I went to pay, Mary handled the transaction rudely, shoved the receipt toward me without saying a word, and walked away. Appointments should mean something. If the salon couldn't accommodate what was promised over the phone, they should have been honest from the beginning instead of having us wait and completely disrupting our afternoon. Good customer service includes clear communication, professionalism, and treating customers with respect. Sadly, this experience had none of those qualities. I will never return, and I cannot recommend this salon based on my experience.

LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS! I went in 2 days ago for a pedicure and the lady made me jolt! I didn't realize what she had done but it hurt so bad! It was sensitive when I left but I didn't think much of it. That night I woke up with such bad pain in my toe I had to get up and remove the polish and apply Neosporin. The next day I called the salon to tell them about my experience and kindly asked for a refund. They told me no. I let them know AGAIN how much pain I was in and all she told me was that she would re paint my toenail. I again asked for a refund to which she told me no and then hung up on me! Each day my toe has continued to get worse even with soaking, cleaning, and keeping Neosporin on all day. I am planning to go into the salon tomorrow to show them my toe in person and demand a refund. I am also planning on going to the dr because of it I will never be returning to this place due to poor service, rude and insensitive employees, AND it's way over priced. I have been limping around because of how badly it hurts. Here is a picture of my toe 2 days later. Picture doesn't do it justice. Also, if you DO end up going despite all these negative reviews and you have a horrible experience like most of us have, contact the state board of cosmetology and send in a complaint! Had a terrible time at this nail salon, and safe to say I will not be back! My friend and I made appointments for 12, she wanted a fill and I wanted a mani pedi. When we got there, we waited for 10 minutes until a walk-in pedicure came in and was seated right away! My friend said something, and when they realized this he came and sat me down in one of the chairs (leaving the other woman soaking in the water when they shouldn't have accepted a walk in). The water was cold and he rushed through my pedicure without any foot massage, which is one of the main reasons I go. On top of that, there was little callus scrubbing and he left my feet looking exactly the same except with nail polish, which I could have done myself. Moving on to the manicure, he rushed through that as well and continually nicked me with the scraper tool to get through the manicure as fast as he could. The nail job was okay, but EVERYTHING else was horrible. I wish I could rate this place with no stars. Don't ever go here, it was expensive and not worth ANY time. read more

I've gone here several times and it all depends on who you get. They also seem to be inconsistent every time. I always get gel nails done. Mary used to do my nails, but she rushes and doesn't soak the gel polish off enough. She uses her clippers to get the polish the rest of the way off, and cut me (bleeding badly) twice. I switched to another person, but have to deal with Mary's attitude when I go in. She insisted she cut me because it was my fault?? What?? The young guy in there is very flirtatious and annoying. Also, they always want to add services to what you originally intended, sometimes pressuring you. Sometimes it's better than others. I'm switching to another salon, where I can have consistency every time I go in, with no huge mistakes and no pressure. Plus able to converse with people in English. These are all Vietnamese, with broken English. Btw, it's not "new management". This is a newer salon and have always had the same management/owner. read more

So we did a walk in and the lady who helped me wasn't what I'm used to. She didn't introduce herself nor did she do the usual small talk. She barks commands at me which weren't clear and then seemed exhausted with me when I didn't understand. A classic pedicure doesn't include heel shaving. It's an extra ten. My nail tech didn't even scrub much off, so it wasn't even worth the extra ten. She cut my nails at an angle. Didn't do three coats, but claimed she did and gave me a ton of tude when I told her it was kinda light. The thing that upset me most was she knew she was rushing with me to help other customers and didn't do a great job and I tipped kinda low, she said it super loud in store. first of all I was in their chair for 36 minutes 12 of those minutes I was waiting for somebody to come and do my toes, finally I get it I think the owner not sure very rude did not do anything but ruined and put me in a ton of pain caught my skin on my toe did not get my ingrown toenails out I literally just went and got another pedicure, two days later I do have photos I do have videos I will be putting us on Google reviews and I will update it consistently do not go here do not no matter what do not go here they have a rating of 2!!!'n read more

Made an appointment for 2 manicures with my friend. The lady did my entire manicure in 10 minutes..rushed through the whole thing. I really wanted a nice clean up, but my cuticles are still long and the paint job is not that great. Then she made my friend take off her own nail polish and did her acrylics and was extremely rude when my friend asked for thinner and shorter nails. She literally said no. My nail technician is Holly.. She always does a good job in making my nails look so beautiful. I've tried other nail salons and it wasn't what I expected so, I thought I'd give Aspen a try. Sure enough it's my "go to place", for nails. The place is beautiful and love the atmosphere. The staff is always friendly, smiling, and time there time in their work. This place is by far "THE BEST", for nails. I highly recommend Holly. read more

AWESOME service. As soon as we walked in they were super nice and accommodating even though we were only scheduled for two sets and ended up being three. Ended up doing soak off/new sets and it was well worth the wait. Tom ended up staying late to finish our nails and was very gentle and patient. His art rocks! I love this salon- I personally think they're the best in flagstaff. They're a little on the pricey side but that's flagstaff for you. I have short nails and I usually do gel so they're always able to accommodate to my lack of length. read more

We were able to get squeezed into an appointment here with Dee Dee who was absolutely lovely! She's the only one who can do dip powder here so she managed to squeeze us both in back to back appointments the next day. She even mentioned we were allowed to bring in coffee and just sit next to each other while one of us was getting our nails done. Dee Dee really knows what she's doing and did a stellar job with our nails! She also can do some magic with fixing them to perfection if it didn't come out super clean in some spots after dipping so we were very impressed with that! We were both very pleased and it was pretty affordable. Overall, the salon was very clean and a nice relaxing environment to be in. The only thing is this place is CASH ONLY! This is a family owned business with 30+ years of experience. I most recently got a gel manicure that lasted over 2 weeks with no chips and I'm sure I could've gone another week or two. The services are very reasonably priced, the salon space is bright and clean, and they are very accommodating and friendly. I will continue coming to this salon as my first choice every time.

The salon is cute, clean and above all, very welcoming and kind. My hair is curly and that always is a concern. I haven't cut or colored my hair since before Covid, so I was nervous. She can do just about anything you want within reason. She uses only the best products and never ever rushes with her clients. I have been going to her consistently for almost 3 years and I will continue to. Over the years she has given me a purple ombre, solid dark purple, solid dark color, and countless haircuts (not to mention her salon is adorable). There are other stylists that work at Lush, and because of Mindy's standards, I would be willing to think that they are as talented and professional as her! She will always be honest on how much hair she thinks you need to cut to keep it healthy and she will be honest about bleaching your hair, if it is too much of a leap all at once.
