All my kids have seen this doctors office for the past 20 years. They have been amazing to us and definitely helped me as a parent. Patrick Collietti was the best doctor I've ever seen and I hope he enjoys his retirement as much as he looked liked he enjoyed being a pediatrician. His daughter Krista has always been there as long as I can remember and she is also an amazing doctor and person. Sometimes we see other providers there and they are always great, though, and informative. I refer them to people often. If you are in need of a great doctor for you kids, you could do no better than aspen Pediarics. read more

Most amazing pediatrician I've ever seen. We started out with UNR pediatrics which left a LOT to be desired. Thus began the search for a new pediatrician. Aspen seemed to have good reviews and I liked the environment I saw in pictures online. I made the phone call and got my newborn scheduled for her 2 week appointment as a new patient, simple and easy. My baby loves her doctor and was very calm--albeit messy--the whole appointment. All of the people I spoke to, from reception to the lactation consultant, were pleasant and knowledgeable and simply wonderful. I will bring all my future babies here! P.S. I walked in one day with concerns regarding my baby's digestion and how fussy and gassy she had been. They put me in right away and bumped me up to an appointment 15 mins after I arrived. We were seen promptly and got a smiling goodbye from everyone. The only thing that leaves anything to be desired is their after hours call rep. Pleasant enough but failed to answer my question. read more

My wife made an appointment for our son at 8:00 am to which I needed to take him in. First one in the parking lot first one to the door at 7:45 am . It was cold so we got back in the truck. 7:50 I look up the parking lot is full 5 families in line needless to say I'm concerned by the time we get out there are 10 families in line the door opens . I notice the staff takes names has people fill out paperwork right there. I just walk in sit down and watch. Getting feed up with the incompetence and lack of information I get up ask if my 8:00 appointment was overbooked the whole staff was at a loss. I said cancel this appointment and walked out. Office management is not their strong suit. I must have had 10 messages from them saying I needed to be on time or they would have to reschedule and I would be charged up to $250 for the missed visit. I am the customer and I expect better from a professional office. read more

When I started researching for pediatricians for my son, Aspen Pediatrics came highly recommended; both by the FB community, as well as their Yelp reviews. I didn't know at the time of making that first consultation appointment, that Dr. Pat Colletti was my step-sons' doctor. My husband had always raved about how great of a doc he was, so I figured sweet, I'm sure Krista is just as good. The consultation went great and Krista seemed very friendly and I did appreciate they were a very pro-vaccine office, so I chose them. When my son was born, it was Dr. Fang that came the next day. Now, I know this is what it is; you can't predict when all your clients will be born and hope to be there for every last one, but there was never a call or anything, which didn't seem that personable -- and it's something for you, the reader, to just be aware of. Dr. Fang seemed like she was there to answer my questions, but in a hurried state. Like do you need me? No? Okay, peace out! I was a first-time mom, so I had no idea what to ask. At my son's first appointment, I got a true foreshadowing of what was to come: long wait times and mean-mugs from a few of the office staff. Dr. Krista Colletti was always friendly, but she sure took her time getting to the exam room -- and that's after waiting for awhile in the lobby. I never felt good about choosing them as my son's doctor. There was never an "oh wow, they're great" moment and I always wanted to look elsewhere after every appointment, simply because they seemed very passive that they continuously called other clients before me; many would lock eyes with me for over an hour and never address the fact that I had been sitting there the entire time while 6 people that came in after got called first. Wouldn't the best thing be to look into why that woman with a cranky infant is still waiting? No never. I would always have to ask if they forgot about me, which is what the sign on their wall says to do. Their lactation nurse also wasn't very helpful when I came in with concerns of why I wasn't producing. She was also the nurse that came in to yell at me, at my very last visit, because I was at my boiling point for, again, waiting more than an hour past my appointment. When they finally called me back, it was Pat Colletti that they had booked me for. They apologized that he was "behind" that day, but why didn't they book me with Krista then?! After all, that is my son's doctor, and if this one is so behind, then why didn't you book me with MY.SON'S.DOCTOR? Uh duh. Anyway, so when I got to the room, Jane came barging in babbling about how she had so many emergencies on the phone and if my son was an emergency, she'd have helped him too. In my head I'm thinking, so the other 6+ people that were called before me -- some of whom didn't even have a chance to sit down before they were called back -- trumped those emergencies, just not my son? I explained that I was frustrated, not because she didn't drop her "emergency" calls, but because I literally counted the minutes and the people that passed while in the lobby and there clearly is something wrong with how that went down. After the appointment, she came in after Pat left and apologized, saying the "new girls" did put my file after the client that came in after me (I didn't question the reasoning for the other 5 or more people that also went ahead), I just nodded my head and told her to get my file, as that will be the last time I go there. Leaving that office that day was the best I've ever felt about being on the premises. Even the office manager was in one of the Doctor's rooms gossiping to another staff member -- clearly about 'the crazy mom' in the lobby -- as we walked by to weigh my son. Yet, no one ever came in to talk or acknowledge the screw up or to try to nullify the situation. Isn't that an office manager's job? Get your people in line to make the client's experience a good one? Instead, she was just gossiping and then goes quiet, while staring in my direction, as I walked past. You're not fooling anyone, chick. Also, instead, I get reamed by Jane who didn't even know what the hell she was talking about. We went to Pediatric Associates and cannot be any happier. Their doctors are all amazing and thorough and the staff have been nothing but professional and kind. read more

When we moved to Reno, we had no idea who to go with as a Pediatrician. We asked the preschool and they had mentioned that they had seen Dr. Pat on the forms for several kids, so we decided to check him out. I've seen some complaints online about having to wait to get someone on the phone at their office and I have had to call a few times in a row to get someone, but it has never been anything worth complaining about! Have a little patience people! This is a busy Pediatric Office for a reason! Not only is it the same office that offers after hours care in Reno, but there are several experienced doctors on staff and a bunch of nurses. I would much prefer to take my kids to a doctor that may not remember every detail about us, but has seen so many situations that if anything is "off", he'll catch it. That is Dr. Pat. Today he took special care to listen to my son's heart rate, just to be on the safe side. Oh, and if you are looking for a "qualified referral"...my 3-year-old was excited to see Dr. Pat! How many little ones are excited to see their doctor?! read more

I have always been appreciative of the fact that when I call with a sick kid, Aspen Pediatrics has me bring my child in that same day. I get that it means we might have to wait a while to be seen and it might mean we see a different provider in the office than we usually see, but when you are worried about your child, being seen later in the week or even tomorrow isn't always good enough. Thank you for staying late, coming in early and skipping lunch so that you can lay eyes on my kids - even if it means you aren't at home with your own children. read more

I have never left a yelp review, but after my experience I felt that I had to. I called to see if the practice was accepting new patients since my family and I are moving to the area. Everything was going great until I was asked if my children had any medical conditions. I disclosed that yes, my oldest has a medical condition, she has ADHD. As soon as I divulged that information they told me that they couldn't see my daughter, because the doctor who sees new patients, Dr. Fanny Fang, does NOT treat children with ADHD!! How is that possible?! I have never had a medical professional discriminate because of my child's diagnosis. I am hurt, angry, and appalled on behalf of my daughter and other children who have ADHD. read more

Moved to the area about a year ago and between my 2 young daughters, I think I've been here 3 times. Twice with Dr. Pat and once with NP. The entire office has been very patient with me and my youngest who last time screamed her head off the entire visit. I like that they have an after hours service although I hope to never use it. They are always courteous on the phone. The office is a bit old school with not the super latest gadgets but they care for their patients and provide good healthcare. read more

This office has been going down since Dr. Pat retired and Dr Krista rarely in the office. My kids have been their patients over last 15 years. I went to Aspen Pediatrics to get a diagnose and treatment recommendation on a wart on a fingertip. Dr. F spent 15 minutes total including putting few dabs of the beetle juice on the problematic area and charged us $139 for the visit. However, the wart didn't go away and I had to get second application of the beetle juice on the wart. For few dabs of the beetle juice Dr. F told the office personnel to charge me $139 again!!! I find this very obnoxious! This doctor clearly doesn't seek for the wellness of her patients but rather see the patients as money making opportunities. VERY DISAPPOINTING. read more

I've never been to a more caring doctors office than the Collettis (sorry for spelling that wrong!). They are so flexible with getting your child in when they are sick, and make getting shots a breeze!! The last time we were in, my two year old son had to get 3 shots and they made it as fun and happy as possible. The compassion the staff has for kids is amazing, and you can tell they truly care about all the kids they see. I've referred them to my sister as well, and she absolutely loves them as well. You won't be disappointed if you choose them for your pediatrician! read more

This place rules, not just cause they're caring and competent doctors and staff, but there's also some serious Geek cred going on here! I love visiting and it makes me feel like a kid again. Everyone who works in this office is extremely competent and exceptional with children. My kids have seen every provider in the office, but we usually see their APRN Patricia Landon. She has a wonderful approach with kids of all ages and really listens to the concerns of parents. This office also has a lactation specialist and an after hours clinic so you can avoid urgent care and the ER. I am so thankful we found This office to care for our kids. read more

We take our daughter to this office and have found both Krista and Patrick Colletti to be knowledgeable and down to earth. They talk to you and not at you like many doctors tend to do. There are many helpful nurses and the office staff is nice. I only give them four stars because they are so busy that it is sometimes difficult to change appointment times. The level of unprofessionalism I received from Dana in this office is unbelievable. After getting the runaround about antibiotics yesterday, I was waiting on COVID test results in order to send my son back to school. I got a voice-mail message this morning, Tuesday, that said "his test results are negative" with no clarity as to whether that was the strep AND the COVID test or just the strep test. I tried to take my son back to school today and was told they needed to see a copy of the negative test results. So I called again and spoke with Dana - she said I needed to email the nurse and hung up on me without even giving me the nurse's email address, as she must have still been upset with me for advocating for my autistic son the day before over the antibiotic issue. I called back and she continued to hang up on me. It took 9 phone calls before I reached Becky, who informed me that they've had his COVID results since Friday. No one from the office bothered to let me know or send me a copy of the results before. In fact, when I spoke with Dana yesterday, Monday, she told me they did not have his COVID results yet and I needed to keep my son home from school until they did. At least Becky was nice enough to take down my email address and send them to me, finally. My son has been a patient at Aspen for 4 years. But this interaction with Dana over both the antibiotic issue and his COVID test were so unprofessional and disturbing, I'm never bringing him back here again. read more

They always engage in a discussion about the care being given and patiently answer my questions. My kids also love coming to the office. It is also cool that the Pediatric Urgent Care is run out of this office after-hours. But can't say enough good things about Dr. Krista and Pat Landon. I highly recommend them. read more

Awful experience with the NP there. Badgered into Hep B vaccination right then And there. Did not agree with postponing that one series. Treated like a stupid mom and vaccine denier, even though the Hep b series was the only one kid didn't have. I was also told that no other MDs would see kid w/out vaccination, no ERs had any pedi docs on call, it would be near impossible to have any Med professional see my sick child w/out full vaccinations. Then given some BS xeroxed handout packet from some Time magazine article or some such nonsense, as if I were Jenny McCarthy. I am not a vaccine denier. I wanted an alternate schedule for one vaccine. Strong-armed into it with disingenuous information. Awful woman who treats any non-doctor as a misinformed "mom". Even though I have a masters degree and 15 yrs in clinical patient care settings and the operating theatre. Ridiculous attitude, closed-minded, unprofessional. The opposite of a collaborative team between parent, patient and healthcare professional. read more

Never again will I take my daughter to their after hours care. The receptionist was very unprofessional, they were talking about other patients (very condescendingly) within ear range, before the doctor came in I heard the doctor ask what our issue was and the nurse said "wheezing - so the parents say" (she was indeed wheezing, thank you). The doctor was okay, but when the nurse came in to give her tylenol, she immediately held my daughter down (this is a 10 month old, by the way) and shoved the syringe down her throat as she was screaming - guess what, she threw it all up. By that time I was beyond mad and we immediately left. I wish we would have just taken her to Renown ER - it would have been easier on my daughter and ourselves. So, beware of the nurses there - they don't even give you a chance to help out, when you know your child best. read more

I saw Dr. Pat when I was a kid. Now my daughter goes to their office. I have great childhood memories at this office. We've seen Dr. Pat a couple of times, but we see Dr. Krista primarily. She always takes the time to explain to the parents as well as the child(ren). read more

My daughter just recently had to put her children on Medicaid, she called this office since this was their doctor; and asked if they took this type of insurance. They told her they did! But when I took the children in for their appointment, I was told that they would do the well baby check up but we had to make a separate appointment at the health department for their shots. Or we could find another office that still accepted this insurance, my daughter told them she would find another pediatricians office to the receptionist over the phone! Not having heard my daughters conversation myself they called my granddaughter in for her appointment.... meanwhile my daughter had found another pediatrician that takes her insurance and does both the check up and the shots; for the next day. I took my youngest granddaughter in, went through the appointment and then found out that Medicare only allows 1 well baby check up per year, which the new doctor had to do!!!!! The staff at Dr Collettis office not only did not listen to my daughter, they did not communicate with each other. Resulting in a large bill for my daughter! I would not let recommend this office to anyone until they get their stuff together!!! read more

I love this doctors office. I have been taking my daughters here for years and they are great. Dr Pat caught an eye disorder in all 3 of my girls that's extremely rare. When I took them into the eye doctor he was just shocked he caught it in a routine physical as it would be so difficult. I really like that if my kids are sick I can get them in right away. I have never had a single issue with a doctor, nurse or staff here. I always referrer mom to this office! read more

My boys have been going to the Colletti's since birth. They are 10 and 12 now. Great care. Straight forward. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is Pat was arguing with his staff in the hallway. When my wife was pregnant (& on bed rest) with twins we asked our obstetrician who he recommended...he at first didn't want to say....then we pressed him & he said he takes his kids to Dr. Pat Colletti. That was almost 16 years ago & it was a great choice! Their staff always finds a way to squeeze us in when it's urgent. Dr. Pat & Dr. Krista have always treated us like family. I love Dr. Pat and his staff! My kids have been going to him since they were babies (17 and 20 years ago) and I appreciate that we can actually get in the same day I call when the kids are sick.
